    This woman was crazy go on a few more ride with her I bet it would be mad fun:)
    Another suggestion: try to turn the bars less when cornering instead lean the bike into the corners
    That's even more important when riding on your slack status

    I would focus on keeping the content consistent. Keep ridin', Matty!

    It was recently shared with me on a trail ride, if you’re not falling you’re not growing. That’s how we learn in this MTB game.. Keep riding & breaking that Polygon in!!

    Hi Matty, I'm no expert on how to make a living on UA-cam, but I think for most folks that want to make a go of it, your best bet is to put all of your content on the "free" channel, get as many of your friends in the community link your videos from their channels and sites to maximize your subs and views, which leads to better ad revenue. "Feature" each others channels to share an audience. You need to link your riding partner's channel, if she has one! Have a Patreon for those who want to contribute and you can sell merch through a few different vendors that might be branded with your logo or even just linking some of the products you use. Becoming an "influencer" in the MTB world will also get the notice of vendors who will send you stuff to try out, though that's not going to buy many Eggos. You and Joe ought to start a MTB tour company and take folks out on the trails you like, that would work! :)
    The thing holding that Polygon back is the tires. They sell it at a lower price point, the way they got there is to put cheaper tires and brakes on it. I think if you put on a decent set of tires it would behave very differently, I could hear it slipping and sliding all over the place. That track is always pretty sandy and "washy", you really need good tires to run it well. It's like putting street tires on a jeep and taking it on an off road trail. Still, that's not a downhill bike, that's not really the trail you'd take that one on. Flowy trails with lots of switches and turns is better for a nimble bike like that, where your Status wouldn't be very happy. Keep in mind that bike is almost half the price of the Status, you have to grade on a curve.

    As for the first part of your video, I watch because you seem like a nice guy that likes to mtb, I wouldn't do anything different but thats up to you.. as for the ride, that was pretty good. I think the shadows from the tree messed you up. Good vid.

    I watch because I like mountain biking and positive people and you do both of those well. Just do things that are fun and interest you and people will continue to tune in. Some pretty good crashes bring back the Status 😂

    1st Part of the video... I like your channel cause you seem like a good person with a good heart and I share your passion for MTB. I enjoy watching you grow in the MTB community and as far as the other stuff, if you were to come out with a sick shirt for your channel I would definitely get me one. Lmao, that female is a badass WOMAN👏💪 my respects to her😎.

    Just out of curiosity did you change your tires for this ride? You seem to be having traction issues that having cross country tires would cause. Tire choice is king when riding more aggressive trails. You don't keep your street tires on when you go mud bogging.

    • @MattyActive
      @MattyActive  2 роки тому +1

      Nope, I need to upgrade the tires for sure

    Just subscribed. I love your videos. I'm new to the sport. Not going to lie I started on a department store bike. I rode the hell out of but I realized I need something more capable. I recently ordered a d5 which is basic but from what I've heard not a bad bike. And from what I'm used to it should be like a rolls Royce

    i prefer a trail hardtail over a fully anyday. i have both and the long and costly maintainence isnt worth it for me.so frustrating when the frame is squeeking. i deinstall the whole bike after every 2-3 rides and it consumes around half a day. i bought arail hardtail, did some upgrades and thats it.almost zero maintanence

      @@MattyActive Looks like a great bike. If I wasn't hooked on my Trek Rail 5 e-bike I'd probably go for a Polygon. But I developed some knee issues riding too hard uphill on a regular bike so I switched to the e-bike. Riding uphill is fun now, and better for my knees. Rock on, keep the videos coming.
