Love your vids brother, one of the most humble and down to earth UA-camrs- keeps me coming back! Realistic biking that I think more people can relate to, rather than flashy professionals all the time. Keep em’ coming and keep keeping it real brother!

Matty, I'm 73 and just returned to riding after many years off. You are an inspiration to me, I follow all your utube videos and although I don't have the quality of trails in my area (central Florida) I'd like, one day, to get out West to experience some of the trails you showcase. I have a 2022 Roscoe 8 and your helping me to love it. Keep wheelin"

Killing it on the Polygon! I recently picked up the Siskiu T7 and I'm absolutely loving it! You aren't kidding when you say it's quiet! The only things I hear when I'm riding are the tires rolling on the ground and the air moving through the shocks. The soft thuds of tires plowing through roots is one of my favorite sounds.

These are the reviews I like to see, someone just getting out there and having a good honest blast on the trails, even on an entry level dual suspension mountain bike, for the average Joe that's often all you need. Your videos are the proof . Many people are reviewing these Polygon Bikes only to pick on the wheels, or complaining about the fork or saying what needs upgrading straight from the box ? If that's the case these tightasses ! Need to spend a little more on the higher spec models. Bang for your buck, there's not many companies that that compete with what you get with a polygon. I have just purchased a 2023 Polygon X-trada 24" for my little boy in Australia for $999.00 as I COULD NOT find one other brand name bike locally under the $1500.00 price point sporting a proper "air" fork- tapered, kids specific 140mm cranks, Microsoft 10 speed group set with a "clutch derailer", hydraulic disc brakes etc, just these alone equates to the total cost of the bike. It's like they throw in the frame, wheels tyres and finishing kit for free when you add it up. Yep the tyre and wheel set is a bit heavy and the saddle is a bit hard - it's $999.00, for what you DO GET, well done Polygon ! Please keep us updated on your Polygon Siskiu d6 adventures , will be great to see how you progress on this bike. Troy

This is probably a common saying in MTB - I saw it on a sign before a line of jumps at alafia river state park in Florida and want to share it.
    It said “pre-ride, re-ride, free-ride”
Those table jumps made me think of it

That trail was awesome, glad they pointed it out. Looks like tires could be your first upgrade, polygon and the Marlin. The bikes you have cover a huge range of riding, some component upgrades, pedals for the Marlin maybe a new saddle and grips. Contact points are the quickest easiest upgrades without getting into the technical stuff. Nice video

I'm always telling you to upgrade your stuff instead of buying new, but I will make one suggestion that contradicts that...the new Roscoe 8 has a different frame and if you like the feel of it you can't do anything to upgrade what you have to get there. Also, if your plan is to replace the wheelsets, tires, fork and brakes to what you essentially get on the 8, it's going to be cheaper to buy the 8 and sell the 7 (plus it's done today). On top of that you prefer the SRAM drivetrain on the 8, which you don't have on the 7. Definitely upgrade the polygon's tires and if you want to make it your gnarly downhill bike then you can upgrade the forks rear suspension, tires, brakes all of it as you don't really have anything into that bike anyway. With the price of bikes now, you should get a really good trade in on the 7 or if you don't mind dealing with private sale stuff, you can probably get close to full retail for it used as it's practically new anyway. I like the idea of upgrading, but in this case it's more sensible to get the frame you like better already loaded with the stuff you want. Sorry to mess up your already finally settled mind on this...

I would customize it with a XT shifter. It has multi release and is compatible with the Deore derailleur. I would also upgrade the fork to Roxkshox Reba (xc/trail) or Revelation (trail). In Arizona it would need 4 piston brakes...and shorter cranks. It's on sale at Bikes online for $1199 right now.

Yes just upgrade your bike. I have the Siskiu T7 I have replaced the seat, the handle bar, I went tubeless, and I got Shimano XT brakes. I believe that’s all I need and I still have less money in it than I do a bike shop bike for two reasons. My bike when I bought it cost me $2,048.00. To buy a bike shop bike with the same equipment was going to cost me around $4,000.00. So now I have a $6,000.00 bike and it cost me $2,800.00. Next year I will get some industry nine rims and some Maxis tires and I am still way cheaper than the bike shop bike’s. Have fun with your bike, and May every ride be epic. You should come to central Florida we have some bike parks hear. Check out Santos, the vortex, Alafia state park, Balm Boyette, and Loyce E. Harpe park.
