Wow! Amazing chickpea curry worth making this tasty nutritious healthy meal. Great comfort food. Love your videos enjoying your recipes especially in Lockdown NZ ❤❤❤
Pls connect me I have a great idea to make variety of chick peas in term of kebab and curry plus m not gonna use any packed or tin bottles all of them will be home made
I think this dish takes too long to make considering how many ready to use ingredients are being used. I usually complete making a chickpea curry in just 20 minutes max (if I am using the canned chickpeas).
You can get all these ingredients in the Duchy Organic range. Bit more expensive but our future depends on organic consumption. I made this chickpea curry today using organic ingredients (except the tikka sauce) and it was quite tasty, though it made surprisingly little cooked food considering two whole tins of chickpeas. Half hour simmering I suppose. Only problem I had was in order to brown the onions the garlic and pepper got charred. Perhaps I should start with the onion and cumin and add the other two after, say, five minutes. I’ll try it again in a couple of weeks. But I need it to make at least four good-sized servings.
I love this recipe
The Indian spices really enhance these vegetables 👌
❤loved my first chick pea curry 😊
Glad to hear it's been a hit! 😋 ^Saff

I’m on a diet , and the paste is high in syns for me, can I use powder instead?
1tsp cumin powder, 1tsp chilli powder, 1tsp turmeric, 1tsp garam masala
When she hinted at the inability to finely chop onion is when I skipped the video...lol
Looks fantastic, but I'd bang in a bit of chicken as well just to make sure.😊

Could you add some potatoes
Yes you can, I normally cut them in to small cubes and put it in once the onions have caramelised

No way is that enough cooking time!
Good for you
I agree. And adding Tikka paste??
This is hardly even a recipe !
@@call_in_sick Agreed! Really, you should leave it for a few hours for the flavours to fully come out, in addition to cooking it for longer.

I thought Chickpea Curries were pretty much the same - the ones I've cooked anyway. I think this one though is superior. Thank you Chetna.
