Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R / Throttle & Cable Adjustment / No Tools, Start to Finish

- How to adjust the play out of your throttle and get it to that perfect factory spec on your ZX6R. This is a very easy process that you can do without a single tool. We adjust both cables from dead slop, being totally loose, and tighten them up to our liking. Kawasaki recommends in the owners manual to have 2-3mm of play (0.10 inches) when you are finished. Dealerships usually don't have it within that specification, so do it yourself right now! Check out our other videos on this bike you want to know more about: exhaust everything, ecu flashes, full review, oil change tutorial, tail tidy, and more all the time! Comment with any questions, enjoy!

The majority of the slack seems like it was in the acceleration cable on my bike.Thank for sharing i would have never thought of this
Happy to help 👍
Awesome video, thank you! Could you do one on adjusting the clutch cable as well please for your next one? 😊
I'll put it on the list 👍
Your clutch adjustment video is out! ua-cam.com/video/Ozxw0oJRnMc/v-deo.html
@@bikesandbangs Thank you so much! I love all your ZX6R content!
Dude, thank you so much for the videos, you are helping me so much with my 24. Can you please make more any videos for necessary maintenance? I still don't know if I need to touch/mess with my break fluid reservoir near those throttle cables.
Yes sir, more are on the way!
Hey Man, your videos help a lot of beginner's. Could you please make a video about to change the entire coolant in ZX6R
Well I don't have any reason to change my coolant at the moment. What's the reason you're trying to flush yours?
@@bikesandbangs My 2024 ZX6R is getting high temp frequently due to traffic in India. I am thing to switch to Engine_Ice from stock
Does anyone else find the factory deceleration fuel cutoff extremely over bearing on this model year? I find it sometimes weird to rev match on down shifts and that up shifts lose a little speed unless I am up in the revs. Can you make a video about setting up the clutch to combat this a bit for those of us that haven’t flashed our ecu yet?
Feel like this might be a fueling issue I doubt it can be fixed with just a clutch/throttle adjustment. This is what we have to deal with if we want a new age sport bike that complies with emissions unfortunately:(
do a wash video on the bike urs always look so clean also how do u adjust the brake and clutch levers ?
Just did a video on the clutch adjustment, check that out. Brakes coming soon!
You tha man!
I need to try it out with my bike although it's not zx6r yet.
Gotta get that 6r!
Love the content, just got a 24 and can’t wait to upgrade it! Did you grab any bolt to replace the front reflector or did you order it from Kawasaki?
Awesome man! I just used two bolts that were on my stock exhaust to replace the front reflectors
@@bikesandbangs I legit was thinking the same but wanted to double check! Keep up the content!
