WOW!!! THANK YOU
Thank youuuuuuu! 😊
I cut the elastic to 45 cm, but it was 2 tight 4 me, so I made it 50 cm. It's easy to make. Btw, I'm 17. I've been selling them ever since I was 14. It's a small business, but it's booming 😂
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that you adjusted the elastic to fit perfectly.😉 I'm impressed by your entrepreneurial spirit and success with your small business since such a young age. Keep up the fantastic work! 👏
Great job I love this video

I've read about the benefits of wearing a bonnet so I'm trying it out. Your tutorial is very simple and easy to follow, well done :))
I'll be attempting to make my own, only I'll have to hand sew it :/ Fingers crossed it works
Hello 🥰 Thank you for your kind comment. I hope you will succeed in hand sewing it ! 🤞🏼
have you done it yet? was it okay to handsew?
@@Sofia-kp8iw Hello :) Yeah, it was super easy to do, following this tutorial
Ended up looking a bit messy, but that was due to my lack of experience, I'll definitely be making a prettier one
And I have to say, they really do help, my hair tangles even if I braid for the night, and last couple of days, I've been using the bonnet, it was no struggle to brush in the morning, so I definitely recommend trying it out :D
Usefull video👌🏻✨
Me encanto
Thanks ❤
Muchas gracias 😊!!
¡De nada!
Beautiful !!!!🎉❤
Thanks !! 🥰
Thank you prety ❤
Wow, awesome 👏👏👍

How do u manage to sew around the fabric so neatly? Do u have any tips on how to make ur sewing straight/even?
Hello, I have a simple tip for you 😄! You can draw your sewing line with chalk beforehand. Then, at the time of sewing, you will only have to follow the line, and you will succeed in sewing straight without too much difficulty. 😉
@@LongTimeNoSew thank u so much
You're welcome !
❤❤❤
You are very teacher
Thanks you very much
You're welcome!
Good one👍 how did you get to 26cm radius?
Hello. Thank you for your question. I measured the circumference of my head (52 cm) and I divided the number per 2 to have the radius 😄
Hello dear! Can you please tell me how to make adjustable tie ups for the satin bonnet without using an elastic? Would appreciate an early reply :)
Hello 👋 To ajust your satin bonnet without using an elastic, you should add a head band alongside the edges of you bonnet that you can ajust/ tie instead of threading the elastic. I hope my answer is clear enough 😉
طريقه شرحك جيدا بالتوفيق
اشكرك 😃

Great video wats the best material to buy
Thank you ! You can use silk or satin fabric. Personally, I used satin fabric 😉
@@LongTimeNoSew thank you
Is the measurement of the cut fabric 52cm length and 52 breadth
Yes exactly!
Hi! I would like to know fabric and elastic measurements for 2 year old girl baby (satin bonnet)
Hi! 😊 For a 2-year-old baby girl, I would cut the fabric with a circumference of 46 cm and use an elastic of 39 cm.
But I strongly recommend you to measure the head circumference of your baby since these measurements are average numbers. To do so, you can take a sewing measurement tape or even a string, and wrap around above the ears and across the eyebrows of your baby 😉.
@@LongTimeNoSew Thank you so much! You are doing a great job! In fact I am making Satin bonnets for my small business in your method and I can see it’s super easy. 😊
Thank you so much! I'm glad that my method is helpful to you and easy to understand ☺️ I wish you all the best for your business!! Good luck ⭐
Is it possible to use a different fabric? I literally threw away my leftover silk fabric cuz I didn't need it 😭😭
Hello! You can use satin fabric if you have! If not, I recommend you to buy a new piece of silk/satin fabric because it is the best fabric for your hair indeed 😊
@@LongTimeNoSew Okay thanks a lot ❤❤
If I want to make this a little bit smaller how could I do that?
Hi 😊 if you want to make the bonnet a little bit smaller, I strongly recommend you to measure your head circumference (if the bonnet is for you), or the head of the person you are making the bonnet. To do so, you can take a sewing measurement tape or even a string, and wrap around above the ears and across the eyebrows of your head 😉 Then you will have the right circumference before cutting your fabric ! I hope my little tip will help you 😊
@@LongTimeNoSew thank you so much!
@@Sofia-kp8iw You're welcome !
Can I use some other silk like fabric ( i forgot the name😅)?
Hello! You can use satin, for example.
What is the length of elastic mam...pls mention the length of elastic mam
Hello! The length of the elastic is 45 cm × 1 cm.
Let made hour own😂😂
What is the elastic size?
The elastic is 45 cm long and 1 cm wide 😉
Where you found the real satin ? Thanks 😊
Hi! I buy all my fabrics in a local market from my city in France 😉 But you can find real satin online if there are no fabrics merchants close to where you live.
I have tried this still in process let's see
Let me know the final result when it is done 😉
@@LongTimeNoSew sure
So finally my bonnet is complete nd I wore it last night it's really good 👍 ...proper to my head size ....i m gonna make another one
@@sweetsmile128 🤩🤩🤩 Congratulations! I'm happy for you 😌
Hi I am an adult how do I take the measurements for myself to make a bonnet
Hi! I strongly recommend you to measure your head circumference. To do so, you can take a sewing measurement tape or even a string, and wrap around above the ears and across the eyebrows of your head 😉 Then you will have the right circumference before cutting your fabric ! I hope my little tip will help you 😊
@@LongTimeNoSew thanks for your tip really appreciate it texting from Jamaica 🇯🇲 have a bless day 💕
You're welcome! Thanks, have a nice day too 💓
I cannot find 1cm elastic ....
Hello! You can buy a bigger elastic band and adjust it by cutting it 😉
How many metres of fabric should i buy for this?
Since she uses 2 squares 52x52 cm each, make sure you buy a fabric that has at least 1,5 meters in length and at least 55cm width :)
@darya6773 Yes, exactly 💯 , 1,5 metres length and 55 centimetres width is enough to make this bonnet. Thanks for your help!
Satin or silk fabric?
Hello. I used satin for mine 🙂
Se me resbala demasiado el gorro se me viene hacia delante y no está ni muy apretado ni muy flojo
beautiful !! i have a question, how many yards did you have to purchase. i’m new to this so idk how to know 🤍
Hello! Thank you for your sweet comment and welcome to my channel 😃
I buy my fabrics from a wholesale fabric store most of the time. So I take advantage of this to get as much fabric as possible. If you have the opportunity to do so, I recommend it! Otherwise, if you want to know how many yards of fabric to buy to make this satin bonnet in particular, I advise you to take at least 1,5 yard in length and width (you'll have some fabric left over to make something else).
