    Have you ever thought of taking your soap shavings from bevelling and suspending them is clear soap for a sort of waste-not-want-not recycling?

      I don't waste them. I roll them into a ball and give them to my Aunt. She loves them! Great idea though! 💖

      I put all my beveled shavings in a mesh bag and use them like soap. The bag makes them lather great and you don't have to waste anything.

      I am not sure I understand what ASMR is. Would this video qualify as ASMR as it is, or would there have to be more sounds other than my voice?

      @@TreeMarieSoapworks well basically, asmr is a sound-centric video. So you get rid of the music, use calm ambient sounds and amplify the usual soft sounds. So in this case it would be the cutting of the soap, mixing the oils, scraping the pigment etc. I think you would get more views...? (Not sure) It's pretty big on youtube. Try watching some asmr craft videos like Oh Nino.

    I live just outside of Louisville and I have to leave my soap covered and in the mold for 48 hours too! I love this design! The colors are awesome and I like the way you achieved, what looks like two different soaps in one design. It came out so freakin' cool!

I’d have to buy several so I could use one, give one as a gift then save one...my partner used to collect soap (there’s a long sad story behind it) and I thought of putting a soap shelf in the bathroom for beautiful soaps and when I saw this video I sent it to him to see if he wanted to start a new collection 😂😂😂

      very thorough. in case you like, a shortcut is to add the scents to the main batter, then divide by her percentages for the colors :)

    I love this, 3 section only and lots of contrast with adding the white and pink. Lot=ve this technique, Taiwan swirl is my favorite swirl to do, and I will have to try this. Thanks for sharing.

      Jonathan these liners are just "sealed air" packaging material that you get in your packages. Just cut them open at the top. Someone shared this tip in Soap Challenge Club.

      @@TreeMarieSoapworks I have family members who are scent sensitive. Is there 'scents' that are extremely mild that you can get to make your own soaps in this way? Almost scentless or something like that?

      You are right, Terri! When I was helping name the colors, we did almost name it Mardi Gras Purple, but we ended up naming one of the golds, Mardi Gras Gold. 💜💕
