  • This is the first in a series of freight trains in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Look for the Pan-Am car, the United States Army Locomotive 4672, Interstate Heritage Unit 8105, Illinois Central Heritage Unit 1025, two NS trains nearly passing each other, and more.

I also remember watching the bridge lift to pass large ships to pass under into the river.

I lived in Brookpark from 1959 to 1965, and close to Berea. We used to ride our bikes to Berea and stop at Whitey's Army and Navy store that sold military things and bought things like P38 can openers. We moved to the west side of Cleveland in 1965 and close to the tracks that went from Collinwood across the lift bridge at the mouth of the Cuyahoga river where it entered Lake Erie and also ran by the Cleveland airport and into Berea.

Thanks, I have a few videos of Berea, and I will be filming more at these locations, including the drawbridge, when it gets warmer. :)
