  • Cleveland Commerical Railroad (CCRL) is a Class III railroad, running between Glenwillow and Clevleand, Ohio. Their main commodity is scrap metal.
The clips shown in this video are shown in order of location, starting at the southernmost point in Glenwillow, all the way up to Von Willer Yard at East 55th street in Cleveland.
The final clip is of a loaded southbound train climbing the hill out of Cleveland at Miles Road.

I used to live and work right in this area and I'm not far away now. I LOVE Short lines, CCR, The Harbor Belt & W&LE, ALL AWESOME. They had to stop around the 8:00 mark to trim away tree limbs that were too close and I wish someone else had done it for them so they didn't have to take the time. Thanks for posting this!

So is Cleveland Commercial Railroad separate from the Harbor Belt road, or has there just been a name change/takeover?

The CCR and CHB are owned by the same people, the CCR is the railroad pictured, and the CHB is the railroad that works the port of Cleveland. The CHB locomotive was just moved to the CCR from it's position at the port, and now an MP15AC is the locomotive used at the port.

They could use a road crew to do some track maintenance. Trashy little road.
