Koryo Sanggitang】Shin-Okubo's Sanggitang Specialty Restaurant Relieves Summer Fatigue

Koryo Sanggitang is a restaurant specializing in Sanggitang located in Shin-Okubo.
It is one of the few places in Japan where you can enjoy authentic Sanggitang, a traditional Korean court cuisine.
Only one-month-old male chickens are imported from Korea.
The chicken is stuffed with glutinous rice, ginseng, chestnuts, jujubes, gingko nuts, etc., and simmered in 30 kinds of Chinese herbal soup for 8 hours.
Boiled in an earthenware pot, the chicken soup is so hot that it will help you detoxify your body as you sweat while eating it.
The restaurant's menu consists only of chicken soup and pancakes.
Since I was not feeling well that day, the tender chicken meat simmered in a thick white broth gently soothed my summer fatigue.
Even though it is a Chinese herbal soup, it does not have any habits, and the lightness of the soup makes it easy to eat.
You can eat it without getting tired of it, adjusting the seasoning with salt and pepper on the way to the end.
If you are in good physical condition, I think you can eat a whole chicken by yourself.
The pancakes go well with beer, and it is a pity that I could not drink it this time.
I recommend Sanggitang to relieve summer fatigue.

私も普段は好んで参鶏湯は選ばないのですが、この日は体調が⤵️ということでチョイスしました。
ここの参鶏湯は思ったより癖は無くてサッパリと頂けました。
ココさんもかなりお気に入りだったようです。
やはり、私はお酒がないとテンション上がりませんね😅
