The system looks really nice and I like that you keep it simple with just an integrated amp, a streamer and turntable. Those wharfedales look gorgeous too
I heard these last year a the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. Nothing at the show came close to their amazing sound or their beautiful design and finish. (The McIntosh speakers inside their display room were mind boggling but so was their size and price, so I'm leaving them out of the discussion.) I put a new system together a couple of years ago and while I have great sound, I would have bought these if they had been on the market. They are the real deal and Wharfedale should be proud of their new baby.
You did it again! One lucky bas..d ;) Congratulations on a purchase of another dream speakers set. I thought that Evo series is exceptional, but this one...my God. To be 100% honest - I envy you all this great equipment. Especially that we have similar tastes I think. Enjoy your new toy (piece of art really) and keep up good work! I have Tannoy Revolution XT8F as my main speakers. For home cinema fronts and rears I have Kef Q300's and Q100's. Q600 for center. Klipsch R-115SW is responsible for all the rumble. Also I have Tannoy Mercury 7.2, Mission 701, Mission LX-1 Arcam Muso II (crap), and a pair of very nice vintage Mordaunt Short MS 3.40. Yes - I am an addict and I am proud of it. The best hobby in the world !
Wish these stands would 30-40cm higher to use them, for other regular bookshelf speaker :- D they look realy great. The speaker looks good but for AMT i would go for the Hedd Type 30 oder some Adam s3v instead
there is a new series of wharfdale called aura , the aura 2 is said to be the cheaper but not far away from elysian 2, with a very asame appearance , costs just 2500$ , will you review them ?
It looks beautifull! Congratulations! Have you ever heard about sonus faber chameleon t? I want to buy Evo 4.4 but now it good sale to sonus. im confused to choose
After looking at your unboxing and seeing those beautiful spikes makes me want to send my Evo 4.4 spikes for a polish. 😂 Looking forward to your review.
Great show, great speakers, but... one Denon amp is not enough. Two good monoblocks by 2 x 100W... or even 4 (for total biamping)! Then tighten the seat-belts and fly...
Thanks, Base on your comment you have no idea about the amp, This amp can provide more current than many mono blocks, up to 60amp instantaneous current when is needed, it can drive Apogee Duettta Signature down to 25hz without a sweat, I have the measurements.
@@Tharbamar I like Denon products, from the first CD player back in... 1982 and pick-up MC cartridges, and Apogee speakers are difficult tusk indeed... My experience with monoblocks and biAmping just tells me that we should try this with the Elisyans as well. Cheers!
Just for your information, this amp is designed to have the same experience and drive power like POA-S1 mono blocks with Class A bias at low level which is clearly stated by the designer, people in the west never had highest quality Denon integrated amps like PMA-SX1 and SX-11 which is designed with unlimited budget because they’re changing the direction under different head designer. MOS-FET in this amp can handle twice the current than anyone ever used in amplifiers. I had pretty good runs with different amps including mono blocks, this one put many of them to shame when is come power and price to performance, thanks
Where do you get all the money to buy all these gears in the middle of a recession? I built mine ie DIY, amplifiers, DAC, and speakers etc...cheap and more fun and engaging the brain cells. The speakers look nice, I cannot compete with the high quality finish. ANyway enjoy your speakers.
Hi Tharbamar, Do you think that's possible to put the Evo's 4.2 on the Elysian 2 stand's (dimensions, etc...)? because, it's possible to buy separately... Thank's for your answer
Thambamar dude. You deserve it. What beautiful speakers and what beautiful speaker stands. In future, do put on gloves. I always do when I have to touch my equipment. Even stored my remotes. Hihihi yes that's really true. Enjoy it. Always nice to see you on UA-cam. Greetings from the Netherlands Limburg Maastricht. Love and peace and of course HIGH-END. And above all keep going. We enjoy it. 👌😘✌👍 OOHH YEAH BABY😉
I find it a little bit funny that you mention the quality of components like a sonus faber. GR research have a video on upgrading a sonus faber, and shows the components and cabinet quality, and that thing is made from cheap low quality componente, and has a thin walled cabinet, but it was not a speaker at the same price point tho, it was like 2500$ us set. Look it up, you might just get a good laugh out of it. ;)... Thanks for the video, looks nice.
Sonus Faber have only beautiful design, but Sonus Faber use very primitive drivers and very cheap speakers cables.. Legacy Valor and PBN Montana Master Reference III kill Sonus Faber...
The only way you can call that a bookshelf speaker is if you have a bookshelf like the size of a Library of Congress is that a 10in woofer on the bottom and a 5 or 6 in mid-range in the middle that is no bookshelf speaker it is a full size floor speaker with a stand to bring it up it's not that is not a bookshelf speaker I have bookshelf speakers I have floor speakers I have Chuck gundlah speakers I have JBL monitors that are huge and those would probably Stack Up next to the JBL.
@@jackanderson2773 Oh please, give the guy a brake!!! And he's right about the cost of hi-end hi-fi equipment. Starts at around twenty grand!!! Have a nice day Jack.

Elysian Speakers are just beautiful. Fit and finish is top notch. Waiting for your review.
Nice looking speakers! Looking forward to the complete review!
Cabinetry reminds me of the old Dali speakers. Simply beautiful!
Looking forward to the full sound review. Hope they sound as good as they look. The finish is way above other brands in the same price bracket.
So beautiful! I’m very interested in the full review!
Been eyeing this and what a beauty she is. Look forward to your sound demos and comparisons
What a beautiful looking speaker and stand.
I hope we can hear a comparison track between this elysian vs evo vs linton?
These are beautiful. Wharfadale has been excellent of recent
Wharfedale. Oh I just love them. But lately they seem to get better. Congratulations wharfedale!
The Evos now the Elysian you are such a lucky bloke
That is one seriously handsome speaker!
There is something strangely calming about his voice.
Kind of like Bob Ross of audio
His voice is 100% free of neuroticism and it's also somewhat feminine. Both those combined creates a soothing effect.
@@ManicMindTrick feminine!? nah
Stunningly beautiful speakers. I look forward to your review.
Man, those speakers looks amazing! Wharfedale
Wow! they look very nice, I look forward to the review!
Thats hi-end for my pocket.
They are stunning looking. Can't wait to hear them and your review.
Those are absolutely gorgeous!
That' what i told my woman! ;-)
Those stands are amazing!
Awesome! Looking forward to the review!
It’s looking gorgeous 🤭
That looks more like half a floor stander than a bookshelf speaker. Gorgeous though
nice.. whats cabel used?? thanks
Awaiting for Elysian 2 sound test demo.
Great video. Thanks for all your informative content.

wow beautiful speaker Sonus Faber level!
Have you heard Elysian 1 vs Theas ones.?
I’d like to hear your comparison between these Elysian’s and the evo 4.2’s
Very cute to see u struggling a bit with the massive speakers:)
How would you compare them to the Q Acoustics Concept 500?
Concept 500 is more transparent in sound, thanks
very nice setup !
what speaker cable do you use please ?
Custom designed cables, thanks
They are beautiful
i wish you could have taken a picture of all the boxes lined up! incl. the stand boxes! probably could cover half the wall haha
Yes I have, it’s posted on this channel community post, thanks

Beautiful speakers
What's that set up behind you ?
Look nice, can you tell me the manufacturer country please
Dominic Mota All speakers from all the brands that belong to this IAG group are made in China.
Gorgeous!
Please review the Elysian 2 soon!!!! Greetings from Germany
5:51 hmm it does sound slightly resonant. But not as much as the evo would

beautiful speakers, a dream

What setup do you have back there? Speakers, cables, amplifier and are you using a power amplifier also? Do you have a link and name for the setup:)?
whats the title of the solo piano plsss
Heavenly by Aakash Gandhi, it's listed in the video.
Can you keep them? It must sound 10 times better than Evo!
Looks awesome. The tweeter is oldschool tech though. Maybe it sounds fine for the price these are selling.

Those are a beauty I bet they sound great.
What kind of speaker cables are you using?
Would you recommend using Cardas or Transparent speakers for Wharfedale speakers?
👍Mantap.. Denon pma
Steve, is that your second listening room you are in?
Yes it is, thanks
Nice speakers,
how much?
Awesome!
Seems your mind didn't pass through 702/706 S2 signatures
Not at all, I haven’t listened to them is a few months, thanks

Thanks Javier.
Would prefer if they actually bolted down onto those stands.
Look too unstable for my liking
Or maybe a Male/Female connection between speaker and stand... :)
Very stable than you might have thought, they wont budge unless you hit them intentionally.
Gloves are provided but not used...😢
Yeah not really useful slippery white gloves.
What a beautiful speakers i bet you cost you pretty packed 😉 just wondering how sounding those bad boys are ! But I can't wait for the review 🙂

Man i thought these will be in the price range of KEF R3's,but these cost x3-x4 the price 😊☺️...
And they compete with Bowers&Wilkins 800 series soundwise so thats why the price.....
The absolute top of the line music experience.
Price difference in Malaysia, it's price is 7.5x a pair of Wharfedale Evo 4.2, oh my oh my...
Fabulous 😛
damn what a beautiful speaker....
Those are huge
That's what my old girlfriends said ;-)
Stands looked amazing, then you placed the speakers on them and the posts look wimpy! They should be 3" diameter at least. Still, a beautiful setup.

Amplifier Denon sx11..👍👌
$7,000 dollars for these speakers. These people are insane.
They're like $3,000 something each. That's nuts.
Many are made in China now . Although these may be European made . They look really nice though . I prefer ascend audio -
@Hemolbeta It's their . You can't even use proper grammar , yet you're speaking of 20,000 dollar speaker . Funny stuff .
@Hemolbeta quite a lot actually , unless English is a second language .

👍🏻
I think i will break my back lifting the speakers :(
I had these a few months ago...great build quality...not so great sound
Really?
Hey, care to elaborate what's not working for you with these speakers? And what speakers you replaced them with?
Chris Francis vocals sounded compressed. Audiovectors brought things back to normal. I’m using Magicos now.
@@Phastm3 Awesome, I am familiar with those speakers but haven't heard them yet.
Checking your channels vids now.
@Tom, it's quite opposite of my experience, I'm only about one week in I will share experience.
