I would love to buy this set and make his jaw move but i dont know if that is even possible
I got one of those from thailand, the thing is bloody tiny, about 70 % of the original size!
I have had one of these kits sitting around for a few months, mainly because I don't know what direction I want to go with it. Question, with the LEDs that came in your kit dud you need to add a resistor to the circuit? My kit did not come with one and I do not want to blow out the LEDs.
Anyway, great build. Looks awesome.
Hi. I didn't use any resistor. Since the total power is 3 Volts, you can't burn the LEDs... But maybe adding a resistor can reduce the consumption, and the batteries would last more. Best regards....
I would paint mine purple with orange dots.
can you show how you did the eyes. like the wiring and stuff?
I'm afraid that I can't have pictures of that process... Sorry.
I have an old Robocop ED 209 vinyl kit thats caked with thick crappy paint (acrylic?) What could I use to strip the paint without damaging the model?
Thanks!
Try to submerge the pieces in alcohol or even paint thinner ( solvent ). I did it with my Robocop model, which I re-painted some years ago. This won't damage the vinyl, and you will be able to remove the paint in a few minutes easily with a cloth or an old brush. The paint will start to "wrinkle" almost inmediately...
Could also use brake fluid, works great.
Incredible paintwork !Please can you tell me what is the gloss black base you used before airbrushing the Alclad chrome?thanks very much !
I used Humbrol gloss paint ( code 21 )
@@modelkitmaker5489Thanks very much, because i work on a restoration of a Vador Sideshow bust broken scale 1:1..need the most gloss black to achieve his armor..thanks from France !👍
