  • The newest addition to Adam's Cave is a replica of the Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton. Adam acquired raw castings, had them chromed, and then applied weathering effects himself to make it look like a realistic human-hunting machine.

      Robert Sivonjic I think Jamie was just more of a down to business "Let's get shit done" kind of guy. Adam wanted to take opportunities to have a bit of fun. It's no wonder discovery teamed them up for a show. They're both equally as awesome to me, but I enjoy watching Adam more due to his personality and niche passions that ring with my own.

    You can feel Adam's natural passion and innate enthusiasm for his craft come across in the segment, which is what we all should be striving for in life to give us purpose and meaning. Adam is incredibly gracious and patient with all the interrupting and interjecting of this host. I mean no disrespect, but seriously, the viewers aren't here for YOU. They are here for Adam. Your job is to host the show, facilitate the flow a bit, and encourage the best answers out of Adam so you get good footage for the show. Right? Not to attempt to complete half his sentences and interrupt him with new questions without having given him ample time to answer the previous ones. Your over-zealous approach borders on pushiness. It's incredibly annoying, and it's in every video. I don't know how Adam maintains such patience with it. What a great idea you've had with Tested - just let it shine for what it is, instead of forcing it so much!

    so I've watched the first two terminator movies, and i will certainly say that so far, out of the whole series, judgement day is the best. i LOVED the t-1000. amazing plot, sinister villain, it has it all.

    • @wolfboy18
      @wolfboy18 7 років тому

      ***** I have a dual Capable one made of Metal with a Poly-Vinyl Carbonate Blade. Also the Blade of a real Light Saber is made of Plasma, not a Laser.

    • @user-yx4tj4lr1t
      @user-yx4tj4lr1t 7 років тому

      Lone Wolf
      yes but in both cases it requires greater technology and knowledge of technology which we lack,
      And your vinyl carbonate blade is not a light sabre just because it glows (if it does), if its not made of the same materials and if it doesnt work the same way a real lightsaber works then its not a lightsaber its just a flasy sword.

    • @wolfboy18
      @wolfboy18 7 років тому

      Okay then, what is a light saber made out of. You seem to know everything, so you tell me. What is it made out of, and what technology goes into it that we don't have. And a Light Saber IS just a flashy sword.

    • @user-yx4tj4lr1t
      @user-yx4tj4lr1t 7 років тому

      Lone Wolf
      Obi-Wan's hilt was made from a Rolls-Royce Derwent Mk.8/Mk.9 Jet Engine Balance Pipe. A lightsaber blade's color is determined by the crystal it uses to focus the energy,
      None of that is technology we even understand or have and if you believe a lightsaber is a sword then no offence but you sir...are a fucking idiot

    Use an Arduino to follow you? If you are planning on use image processing, it's quite impossible with a microcontroller. You are gonna need a ARM or microprocessor or something like that, which is much powerfully. Arduino would be great only to control the servo motor in the head. But, this can be done with RC (servos and a radio controller) as well.

    • @tested
      @tested  10 років тому +6

      We had talked about using a few IR movement sensors to get close enough.

    • @xanokothe
      @xanokothe 10 років тому

      Tested I thought about that too, but you guys need several of this sensors than, and they will be visible, which would look great. A camera in the eyeball of the exterminator would be much cool!

    • @etmax1
      @etmax1 9 років тому +1

      Xano Trevisan Kothe It all boils down to how many pixels it has to process and how fast, there's a kickstarter project that does it with an ARM and does I think 20 frames per second at 340x200 but if you settled on 1-2 frames per second and 120x80 pixels an Arduino should manage it. I don't expect you would need more than 1-2 frames per second to perform object following.
