Good job Memphis Mike, your all about the ride life. some guys wouldn't even ride with a scooter cause they say it's not a motorcycle. That's why i follow you and Chris cause your all about the ride. Much respect.
Hey Mike ! I am GLAD you posted this video... I have a story for you... A few years ago, a friend of mine was selling his Honda Goldwing... I really LIKED the bike and for an older Wing it was in GREAT cond. Long story-shortened, I bought it ... LOVE my 84 Wing... My buddy, in his mid fifties, had sold it because of a leg amputation... (he could no longer change gears using a prostetic leg, ... No feeling or toe flexation ... ), ... Anyway .. After some time spent getting used to his new way of life, He got up the nerve to try, then BUY one of the Honda Automatic 500 scooters ... Now he is able to RIDE again ... something he really ENJOYS, like the rest of us .... Anyways, i just thought Id share his story with ya all .... ENJOYING your ride along videos Mike .... Keep them coming please ... Ride SAFE ... Rick S.
GREAT JOB MIKE, really enjoyed { riding along with you guys} I had 3 Goldwings, VENTURE ROYAL, AND ALSO YAMAHA TOURDELUXE. I now for the last 6 years have a SUZUKI 650 BURGMAN. MAN WHAT A SMOOTH RIDE IF YOU COULD CLOSE YOUR EYES AND RIDE, you would think you were on a BABY GOLDWING. RODE ALL OVER THE WEST on the WINGS&YUMMY VENTURE can"t tell how many miles,, but a lot, don"t ride as much now, but when i do take short tours, the wife and I, we both love the BURGY I WISH I WOULD HAVE DISCOVERED THESE SOONER [ BURGMAN ] GREAT TOURING BIKE, AND AROUND TOWN, anyway thanks GUYS FOR THE VIDEO.
definitely excellent thing too see. I used to have r6 and a honda vtr sp1. when I was younger. now on a honda silverwing and loving it so comfortable easy to ride .
Nice video Mike. Im fortunate enough to have the Silverwing and the GL1800. Love em both. I like that the Silverwing is a "wolf in sheeps clothing"! A Harley guy tried to pull away from me on the freeway but soon realized he couldnt leave the "little" scooter behind :). Anyways.........I love your vids, keep em coming. I can live vicariously through you while watching em on my 60" plasma screen with the surround sound on while waiting for winter to end. Be safe!!
Nice video Mike, I am a Honda Silverwing owner/rider myself I have had my early years time with the clutch rides and just didn't want to do that anymore if I ride again. I love the Silverwing, I have a couple of buddies that own and ride them and they have done some 2500+ miles on theirs..They are comfortable etc...I have done some rides vlogs on mine this past riding season hoping that Michigan's weather gets it's act together so I can pull it out and get on the road, now my daughter can ride withe me on her own bike.
A dull day, Mike, but you still got a clear video with a good camera. Nice to hear and see another Vlogger and realise there are millions of people out there behind the camera living there own lives. I like to see your local countryside as well as the bikes. Please have a look at my latest vid, High Plains Drifter, and see some beautiful mountains in Northern Spain. See Ya.
+Motorbiker Miles (motorbikermiles) thanks for the alert on your vid. Be glad to check it out. Yeah, not much going on around here this day on our ride...gloomy/cloudy and slight sprinkle/drizzle....good to get out and ride some anyhow! Best Regards and safe riding my friend!
Good video mike! A friend of mine who did several long trips with me had a silverwing. It's a great bike and more than kept up with my 1400cc Suzuki Cavalcade. Light, step thru and very quick off of a stop. Thanks for the video Randy
Great video, brought back a lot of memories. I used to burn those roads up either on a motorcycle enjoying the twisty roads or with a buddy in the truck looking at all the deer.
Nice video. I've never seen someone ride their clutch so much. GL has syncromesh(edit: constantmesh) gears. You got a good setup. Wow, the Silverwing is loaded for storage, 55L under seat, looks like 36 L bags (total 72L) and then a box on the back (maybe 40L guessing). The GL is great for riding in comfort and putting some miles behind you (I've had 7). The SW is great for everything except maybe 2 up. Handles the slab, surface roads, touring, stopping often for photos is easy, grocery shopping, 2 large pizzas under the seat or 2 helmets. I've had 2 SW. Plus it's easy to handle for guys, gals, and us old farts that have developed problems in our golden years.. This past June made my 50th year of riding. Just found your channel and going to look for your other videos. Thanks.
Nice ride MM... Felt like I was with you guys!! Loved the exchange of thoughts on the two bikes. A lot of front protection on the scooter type ones in wet conditions. Wishing you safe rides and thanks for the reply on the other video 🙏🏽
Hi Mike, as someone who will be purchasing a Silverwing in next 6-9 months, I truly appreciate your video. I have subscribed and will provide positive feedback from time to time. Keep it real and keep it revving!
Nice vlog, Mike. I really like the dialog. At work, we have about 25 daily cycle commuters (April-November) including 3 scooters. 10 years ago there weren't any scooters. The scooters are really nice and bring more riders into the cycling community, which is a good thing.
+Kyle Williams If you like to tinker... the scooters, especially the chinese 150's are tons of fun. I had one with a racing variator... and that bike would wheelie with a little coaxing. The one gallon take would take it about 60 miles.... Just a bunch of fun.
I know this is an old vid but it is amazing the difference in microphones on different setups. Chasing came thru loud and strong where as on Chris' new vid with Wing Rider I couldn't hardly here him.
+MemphisMike , +Chasing Photography , +Chris Caliente Nothing like finding and connecting with good/ great personalities in our motorcycling community, near or far. Bruddha Mike, Again I thank you for taking the time in sharing the moment on The Gold Wing. Be Well and Riding Safely ~ Ben G. / NY
This was very interesting. I enjoyed hearing from your co-rider on his scooter. It was nice hearing the interview on his bike. Great job! Keep them coming. Ride Safe
Nice cruze! Wish we lived in the south where it doesn't snow. I too am looking into a large "scooter". Nice to hear a couple great riders out chatting about times gone by..
Yes we are fortunate here in the south. We did wake up today to a small "dusting" of snow, but thats about it. No good for motorcycling, but won't shut the town down! thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Great video Mike. I am a senior citizen in SE Missouri who has just started trip riding with the local Goldwing Road Rider Association - Chapter "I" group on my 2007 GT600cc SilverWing Maxi Scooter for the last 8+ months. You questioned CPF about his rational and decision to go with a Maxi Scooter vs a Motorcycle. I've owned and driven a 2 wheeler cycle or scooter pretty much since I was a teenager - less a few years after first getting married. So unlike your new riding buddy Chasing Photo Films, I learned to manipulate the clutch and gears from the start. I own a little 1984 Honda Aero 80 cc Scooter that my son and I bought together when he first started driving. So I had been on an automatic transmission the last 30 years and was comfortable with that. I decided to add a larger street bike to my garage so I could ride with some friends in the Honda group who had Goldwings & big Harleys. I took the local Vocational Technical Accredited Safe Riding motorcycle course to hone my skills, and to learn how to ride in groups. We trained on Honda 250 Super Sports & similar Yamahas so I had to relearn quickly how to operate the clutch and gears, but it came back easily "like riding a bike". So I was capable of going automatic or manual transmission when I started looking a bikes. I loved the grace, convenience and power of the Goldwings, but was concerned about the steep learning-curve of handling such a big heavy bike at my age. If I were still 40-50 - there would not have been decision to make. But at 65 my wisdom and experience superseded my love-crush on driving a 900+ lb Goldwing 1100 -1800cc. I was looking at smaller medium size bike when I first saw and rode the SilverWing Scooter. I fell in love - to me it was the best of both worlds. The ease and familiarity of a scooter but with the capability of highway driving and even taking some road trips. Silverwings weigh in around 550 lbs and at 600 cc's, I had no problem keeping up with the 'big boys.' With a few additions: adding more storage, a little trailer hitch, a highway friendly windshield, a CB radio, and a back-rest. I was ready to ride with the GWRRA group. There is no Name Brand or Motorcycle discrimination in Chapter I of Jackson, MO - if it has two or three wheels you're welcome. Along with a majority of Goldwings - we have several Silverwings and other maxi scooters, Harleys, Victorys, Yamahas, and etc, plus the Trikes and Spyders are becoming very popular. I may still eventually get my Goldwing - but not until I cease to feel capable of riding a two wheeler safely. Then I see a big GW Trike in my future. Until then, I will be enjoying the thrill of leaning into the big curves on the hilly, winding, rural roads so prominent in this part of the country. Keep up the good work M.Mike. I enjoy your youtube reports. LongTimeDancer
+WILLIAM BRUNE thanks for watching and commenting! The Wing is a LOT of Bike to balance that is for sure. Pulled a Ham string recently and just now getting it back healed up a bit. Lemme tell you it was tough at times to hold it up when stopped. I say ride what ever bike/scooter fits you best and ride! When I started on my Shadow the GWRRA chapter here welcomed me regardless of what I road!!1
Good video Mike, I enjoyed watching the ride with Chasing Photography, I totally agree with your points about motorcycling, and motovlogging are expensive we need extra jobs to keep up, lol. It would have been nice to ride with you guys, but work takes priority, so I'm sure to be out on the Goldwing at my first available day.
+Chris Caliente yeah bro we will all get together and make a "Food" run as well! just hit a few roads off 64/70 as well. Was missing our Boy Chrissssssssss.....on the GohhhhlllllllllllWing!
Thanks for the shout out buddy. My scoot is just a tad bigger than the Silverwing but now you have seen how big the Maxi-Scooters are. Surprising aren't they. Before I got my scoot, when you hear the word "Scooter" the first thing you think of is the scooter on "American Graffiti" or those 50cc scooter on the roads by a beach. Did the research and "Wow" Who knew. Great video buddy.
Much love to the scooter riders! I used to ride mopeds back in the day so I still got love for my clutchless brothers and sisters. And those SilverWings are pretty bad a$$!
Thanks for meeting up +MemphisMike, it was a blast sorta getting lost LOL - yea, I wish +Chris Caliente was with us, but theres going to be plenty of time - plus next time, we grab some grub!
I agree the best part of being a Motovlogger is the interactions... Very nice bikes. I have a FZ 07 and a Wolf V 150 scooter. I feel I have the best of both worlds.
Haha, Memphis Mike, or is it now Memphis Shrek after your experiences with the tie Straps for your Camera Set up ? Either way, it was very entertaining to watch you, and Chasing Photography out there on your Gold Wing, and his Silver Wing. Keep them great videos coming.
Mike another reason I like watching your videos. Like you and Chris say, "It's not what you ride, but, that you ride!" U da man! Also I bought me a new to me bike a few weeks ago. A used Harley Heritage Softail FLSTI 2006(my 6th bike and first Harley). Bike should have been free but those add on's...whew! :-) Getting ready for my semi-retirement coming up. Keep up the good videos my friend and again, thanks. Ed
Ahh man. Heritage is a great Classic looking bike! I hope it serves you well and gives you many miles of riding pleasure. I really do stand behind what I say..."don't matter what you ride , as long as you ride"....now if I detect a fellow rider wants to sport an attitude about what I ride....I will See Ya!! Ain't nobody got time for that!
I loved your video ,I'm new at this I ride a 2015 Yamaha Smax and I'm thinking to get into a used Silverwing or a Yamaha Majesty very soon ,have a great day !
I had both a 400 majesty and a 400 silverwing( bought in france) In my opinion the silverwing is a so much better bike it's unbelievable. I am collecting a 2013 600 silverwing on Saturday next. Can't wait. Ride safely.
Hi Mike feel quite fortunate recently found 1998 gl 1500 with 12,000 miles on it paid 4100 for it. Point is you don't have to brake the bank to have a nice bike, also own 1986 magna in mint condition. Heard you talking about hot weather gear and found a cool vest that you soak in water, if it;s 95 out it makes it feel about 20 degrees cooler, best 25 bucks I've spent for hot weather! Enjoy your videos keep the shiny side up. 1
I rode the Suzuki large scooter like Smyrna Cowboy has at a demo ride. I didn't know what to expect. I just rode it cause it was there and available. I was really surprised how good it was. Comfortable and enough power. It is easier to get on. It has a comfortable seating position. I liked it. Maybe one day if I can no longer lift my leg over the seat I may get one. I wouldn't trade my cruiser for one now though.
I'm looking at down grading from an Goldwing to a Maxi-Scooter, getting older and dropped the Wing too many times. But I like to ride endurance rallies not need some extra accessories like an aux fuel cell and space to pack for extended time on the road. I like the extra bags this guy have and of course ABS is a must for me anymore...Keep up the great videos.
Man I know guys that do full touring in Huge Scooters like this. Check out "acworthpatrick" channel and "the Smyrna cowboy". Both these guys ride those big scooters. The Wingmis a lot of weight to manage Donald as you know. No shame in going to a Scooter. Have you thought of Trike option?
A couple of guys I know changed from scooters to Honda NC700-models for the Iron Butt Rally which is what I want another crack at finishing, first time bike issues, second time health issues. A trike has no interest to me, I would go for a sidecar rig, been interested in an Ural since 2007 when I had a bad get off. I was looking at the BMW C650-s today, too many things to cut and modify for an rally bike for me. The Silver Wing looks like it could be farkled a lot easier. Big issue with both brands is lack of fuel capacity.
That was great stuff listening to the chit chat between two riders. Mike could you do a video on the importance of staying hydrated while riding. I wear a very heavy leather jacket and last week I took a run to a little town a couple of hundred clicks from home and I must have pushed the limit because it was a bloody very hot day and I got as sick as a junk yard dog by the time I got home. I think I had heat stroke and I'm sure that I didn't drink enough water on the trip. It took a litre of cold water and a cool shower before I could talk any sense to my wife.
I'll have to check out his channel; those Honda scooters are cool! Very interesting story he had...he's very open about his reasons for getting a scooter; it looks great in yellow! Exactly; like you said 'what's the point' if you don't interact with viewers. Hey, question...when you're not using the plug for the heated liner, what do you do with the plug? I know during summer, I can tuck it under the seat completely, but afternoons when it's warm here & don't need it, it can get in the way, if you know what I mean...I think I swore about it in my bloopers vid. lol
You know that's a good question. If I don't plug in I just keep the plug on it. Mine barely sticks out of the seat anyway. I am guessing I will just tuck mine completey in around May or when Hot weather is here. Hope it is serving you well. You are correct. I see some Moto Vloggers with a few hundred thousand subscribers. Seems the personal factor would be taken out of it after that. NO way to reply to all those comments. Course most of those are crazy Vlogs anyway it seems.
I got a 400 Yamaha Majesty that hits just over 100 and love it. Guy's at work on their Harley's mess with me but shoot I have fun and enjoy it. Looking to move up to a 650 Burgman or the SilverWing 600. Nice bikes though guy's. Enjoy and be safe.
I believe Having fun and enjoying your ride is the name of the game to me! Doesn't matter if on a Burgman or a GoldWing, when it's your ride and what YOU enjoy, that is all that matters!! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment!
Ok Mike it will come in about a week but in the meantime I will check out iMovie . Also the version I movies will also give me video screen within a video screen because I also want to shoot footage with my GoPro at the same time?
great video Memphis Mike not about what you ride as long as you are riding I'm glad you didn't show the eating spot im running out of paper Lol Be Blessed and Ride Safe
Great video. I am impressed by those scooters. At first, I was thinking of scooters being like 50cc's like what I have rode before, like the Honda Elite 50LX, and under, but now those scooters are impressive. To me, it is like a mini version of a Goooooooldwing. :) I have thought about doing a demo ride on a scooter like he has. I think also +Lorddarthvader7701 has a scooter too. I have been to that website, but I do not go to it anymore.
Yes. I had one of the 500cc V silver wings back in the days in Germany. It was a marvelous cruiser. Had back than a new family, a 2 year old and the wive was expecting our second. Money were tight. The old silver wing was amazing. I traveled with the Silver Wing from Oslo to Tunis in Africa and back to Munich. Actually more than 3600 miles. It was a great bike at the time no problems no chain no nothing.. I'm looking to recreate that bike again and looking therefore in the new silver wing or Burgman 650.
That's what I thought this video was going to be about. I have a GL1500 and was thinking quite seriously about a CX500 SilverWing. I mean, I'd have it now, 3 days later, had the seller not been flaky. Oh well, interesting video anyway.
How do you get your audios to go with the the video I have a go Pro camera and I sema 20s. Is there another component I need to link Camera to the sema.
Randy Griffin yes. The Sena GP-10 audio pack to pair to GoPro. MotoVlogger Chris Caliente uses that configuration!!! I am using Sena10C camera and paired to the other riders headset!
I started on scooters.... 150cc Chinese scooter, then a 250, then a 500cc Aprillia. Then came the Goldwings... =)... Just curious; what is your motoblog set up? I'm currently running a GoPro Hero (old school) and an audio recorder and a lav mic in the helmet. I get a lot of breath noise... (I'm a bit of a mouth breather).... Your Audio is really good. What are you actually recording it with?
First off. Thank you for watching and commenting. I am using the Sena 10C camera/Bluetooth headset. Search out my vids, I have a couple of vids about the Sena. Have you tried adjusting the position of your mic to offset the "breathing" noise? Also do you have a windscreen on your mic as well?
I've adjusted position of the mic a couple of times. I'll try a windscreen, if I can find or make one small enough. I think what I was interested in was, are you recording the audio on the phone or the camera?
Hey Mike. The guy you were riding has hard case saddlebags on his Silverwing. Is there anyway you could get a message to him from me? I want to do the same to my bike but I'm having the hardest time locating brackets or bags.
Scooters are fine transportation .....it's the ego/pride that has to have a motorcycle of whatever style...I wouldn't mind a hayabusa scooter ...😳😝....
hey mike, l have a harley, but l would rather ride my suzuki 650 burgman scooter. it is such fun to ride just carfree riding, l can't wait to take it on a long trip. it has more storage than the honda and has a little more power
+Dwight Mcclure i know a few folks that have the Burgman as well. I am really not familiar with the Scooter market other than the last couple of times i have ridden with Chase on his!
you don't even need to get a scooter for automatic, Honda makes a lot of their motorcycles with DCT (automatic), or electric motorcycles only have one gear so no clutch again...
Maxi scooters have great whether protection for all of the body, not many motorcycle can do that. Also bike with dct is complicated and expensive machine.. The belt fin the scooters are the gearbox and the drive train 2 in 1. It is cheap, low maintenance. The tires are also 2-3 times less expensive.
Hi Mike, I would love to a Honda silverwing with the people in Colorado if there in any and if I had the money right now. I and my brother just lost our mother. I am looking for won that is an auto matrix, that I can make low monthly payments. I also wish some one can help me , also have it special custom made for my size and weight, color I want.
MemphisMike , Ok I was wondering who do I contact to get a Honda Silver Wing custom made and how much ? I am 4ft an 10incbes and weigh about 200 pounds. Also what is the total weight for one -r wo people to ride on the Honda Silver Wing ? I also want to say this, I don't like to text or type this, it is hard for to type words that I want to say, that is why that I would like to chat with you another for sending messages back an forth to each other. I was wonder6 if you have hangout account, if so can you please give me your contact info just your name or email that you have for it please? I hope you can answer all of my questions that I asked you? Well that is all I have to say for now until I hear back from you. I also want say thank you very much for taking your time to read all of my questions to you.
Goldwings I have owned 2006' GL1800, 1997' GL1500 1995' GL1500, 1988' GL1500, 1986' GL1200, 1984' GL1200, 1983' GL1100, Silverwings 2006' Silverwing 600 ABS, 2005' Silverwing. I still have both Silverwings as I like the Silverwing MUCH MUCH better, I will NOT own another 900-pound bike, as it takes away the bike feel. The fun is gone at 900 lbs Might as well take the car.
I have friend who refuses to even buy Bikes over 600 LBS.....He just does NOT like the weight. Honestly, my favorite is my CB1100 on some good country backroads. Don't get me wrong...I do LOVE my Wing..especially going into a 500mile day....BUT....you do speak some truth..It IS a Heavy Bike for sure!!!
Good job Memphis Mike, your all about the ride life. some guys wouldn't even ride with a scooter cause they say it's not a motorcycle. That's why i follow you and Chris cause your all about the ride. Much respect.
Thanks Raphael. You are correct. It's about the ride...Not your ride!!
I bought my 2009 silverwing 3 years ago, haven't had no problems with it / love to ride around Cincinnati,
you should check out +chasingphotographyfilms He has a view Vlogs cut from his Silver Wing!!

Haha that's awesome. Man I appreciate the support my friend. Hopefully you will thaw out soon in your part of the world and be up and riding soon!!
I have a Silverwing and have noticed that Harley riders absolutely hate to get passed by a scooter. They always pass me back, or try.
enjoyed watching your video looked like one hell of a good time, I also want to hangglide , that's what life is all about, rideing and flying..
Always have a good time on the Bike it seems! And so does my fellow Scooter Rider as well!!!

I'm gonna have to take one for a spin sometime! Everyone that has them seems to enjoy them! I know u r itching to get out and ride soon!!
I live in the U.P. and ride my Silverwing all over up here.
@@MemphisMike901 I have the 18 Goldwing DCT & Silverwing scooter, I enjoy them both...!
Great ride and the interview and chat was really nice too. Thanks again MM for the ride.

Has been some unseasonably warm winter temps for sure. Gotta get in the riding when you can!!!

Good video Mike! Thats what 2 wheel life is about. Meeting people and sharing the love to ride. Enjoy and Be Blessed!
+D Mont (TEFLON) very well said! Thank you for watching!
Great video, brought back a lot of memories. I used to burn those roads up either on a motorcycle enjoying the twisty roads or with a buddy in the truck looking at all the deer.

Thanks Mike for all your help I will try that in the morning. Ride safe buddy
This was very interesting. I enjoyed hearing from your co-rider on his scooter. It was nice hearing the interview on his bike. Great job! Keep them coming. Ride Safe
+HarleyDayRider Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed this! Have since taken another ride with this rider as well!
Great audio, clear. Great voice.
Thanks Mark
Good video Mike, I enjoyed watching the ride with Chasing Photography, I totally agree with your points about motorcycling, and motovlogging are expensive we need extra jobs to keep up, lol. It would have been nice to ride with you guys, but work takes priority, so I'm sure to be out on the Goldwing at my first available day.
+Chris Caliente yeah bro we will all get together and make a "Food" run as well! just hit a few roads off 64/70 as well. Was missing our Boy Chrissssssssss.....on the GohhhhlllllllllllWing!
Thanks Mike, I need more free time to ride.
Great video. I tell all motovloggers that sometimes an off the cuff videos are sometimes the best ones like this one.
You are absolutely correct. Never thought of them as these big things!! We see a lot of Vespas and Metropolitans on Beale during Bike nights.
Much love to the scooter riders! I used to ride mopeds back in the day so I still got love for my clutchless brothers and sisters. And those SilverWings are pretty bad a$$!
I saw for the first time today a Burgman in my town. WoW...what a cool machine!!
Thanks for meeting up +MemphisMike, it was a blast sorta getting lost LOL - yea, I wish +Chris Caliente was with us, but theres going to be plenty of time - plus next time, we grab some grub!
Grub is A MUST. Live to Ride. Ride to EAT!
Thanks very much Mike I will try this in the morning. Ride safe buddy
I bought a wrecked 2008 Yamaha majesty 400 maxi scooter , I got it going and it runs great
I loved your video ,I'm new at this I ride a 2015 Yamaha Smax and I'm thinking to get into a used Silverwing or a Yamaha Majesty very soon ,have a great day !
I had both a 400 majesty and a 400 silverwing( bought in france) In my opinion the silverwing is a so much better bike it's unbelievable. I am collecting a 2013 600 silverwing on Saturday next. Can't wait. Ride safely.
Oh man I love your vids, riding style and southern accent,
Hi Mike feel quite fortunate recently found 1998 gl 1500 with 12,000 miles on it paid 4100 for it.
1
you are 100% correct. dont have to spend a ton of $$ to get a decent used Bike for sure!
+NewZona Rides Thanks for the shout out man.
Memphis Mike,Riding Rob here would really like to put some miles down with you im on a 06 1800 same color as yours...hopefully connect soon
+Walrus60 maybe i will cover that topic. We cover it all the time at my work..I am on the safety committee there!
We all owe the Japanese for the great machines they craft.
Give me time Mike, this is Jimmy Goldwing recovering from a stroke, when I get out there will come through for some Bobby Q...
Man you take care of yourself Jimmy. Plenty of BBQ here in town to go around!!
Ok Mike it will come in about a week but in the meantime I will check out iMovie . Also the version I movies will also give me video screen within a video screen because I also want to shoot footage with my GoPro at the same time?
Yes. It's called picture in a picture !
great video Memphis Mike not about what you ride as long as you are riding I'm glad you didn't show the eating spot im running out of paper Lol Be Blessed and Ride Safe
LoL. We didn't even eat on this ride. Just kinda met for the first time and stretched them out a bit!!!
750 miles is a pretty good ride for one day Matt personal bitch is about 515 from Belleville Ohio to Blairsville Georgia. Good video
They look fun to me! We had a blast too!
MemphisMike Cool, I might have to do a demo ride on one of those if the local Honda dealer will let me.
I liked the 80s Silverwing. CX 500 basically right?
Joseph Howard Be great to have an old CX500!!!
Happy Thanksgiving Memphis Mike!
I enjoyed your videos and what is your thought about Hawk blinc modular helmet that has Bluetooth built-in
Not familiar. But I am not a fan of a combo helmet/Bluetooth setup
Love your goldwing
I like that silver wing pfc 600 scooter , this is Scorpion hellow thear.
Great video Mike . I would like to know what software you use to edit for your 10c I am using a Mac computer .thanks Mike
I use Mac as well. I use iMovie! You should have it too.
+MemphisMike . Thanks I will check it out . I also took your advice and ordered me a 10 C unit. Thanks again Mike
+Kim Wiltz man that's great. Lemme know how it works out for you!!
I have a Christian I have the same scooter where would I look on the scooter to find the Vin number ???
I am sorry, I do not know that information. My friend is on the Scooter. +chasingphotographyfilms
+Urban Madness yes my audio is recorded into the Sena Camera along with the the videox/'!
Ok thanks...... I'll keep all that in mind when I upgrade. Raining all next week.... Heavy rain... so no riding.... Ride safe!
Hey Mike. The guy you were riding has hard case saddlebags on his Silverwing. Is there anyway you could get a message to him from me? I want to do the same to my bike but I'm having the hardest time locating brackets or bags.
ua-cam.com/channels/bN4JNVqy-J9m7cveTVIBHQ.html
Mike great videos. I have one question for you. What coms system do you use on your helmet, or what do recommend.
I use Sena 20S and recommend pretty much anything Sena 20S and above
Are you sure that this vid has anything to to with a Silver Wing?
Scooters are fine transportation .....it's the ego/pride that has to have a motorcycle of whatever style...I wouldn't mind a hayabusa scooter ...😳😝....
hey mike, l have a harley, but l would rather ride my suzuki 650 burgman scooter. it is such fun to ride just carfree riding, l can't wait to take it on a long trip. it has more storage than the honda and has a little more power
+Dwight Mcclure i know a few folks that have the Burgman as well. I am really not familiar with the Scooter market other than the last couple of times i have ridden with Chase on his!
good,🎥 video!
you don't even need to get a scooter for automatic, Honda makes a lot of their motorcycles with DCT (automatic), or electric motorcycles only have one gear so no clutch again...
The expense does not bother me
@@MemphisMike901 The comment was not for you specifically. Just tried to explain why there is more and more maxis on the road.
Стеф Треков Gotcha. We do not see a whole lit of Scooters in out area here. If we do, they are the smaller ones usually

???????
Don't get me wrong...I do LOVE my Wing..especially going into a 500mile day....BUT....you do speak some truth..It IS a Heavy Bike for sure!!!
no matter how big the engine, how durable it is, a scooter is still a bit like a fat chick. fun to ride until your friends see you.
