This was so deep. Prayers to Leah & Also Locc from Compton. I pray they all find a better situation and make it out of here. I see it all the time here especialy in Southern Phoenix. Salutes to you Super, you are doing the lord's work. I appreciate everything you do for everyone here in Arizona. I know alot of people thinking of moving to Arizona / new to Arizona appreciate you giving them the real gritty truth of AZ. There are great parts & there are shitty parts, you display IT ALL. Keep doing your thing Super, I'll run across you one of these days randomly lol.
I am so angry at Leah's landlord or complex manager. She shouldn't have to live with damp, mold, and all of this disrespect. What do they expect her to do? Climb up on the roof and repair the leaking roof? I wish her a resolution to her housing situation so she can focus on her healing.
@@maniswil2It's not a competition but L.A. is larger so it will have more "hood." The difference is there is more poverty in Phoenix. L.A. property values are among the highest in the country. Even in Compton the home values are in excess of $500k which is a mortgage of over $3k a month. That isn't a ghetto. It is hard to take L.A. seriously as a ghetto when only yuppies can afford to live there. L.A. today isn't L.A. of the '80s and '90s. These are facts. My family is from East L.A. and Boyle Heights.

Standing up nodding….IS NO JOKE!! I live near metro center mall. These people will sit on the sidewalk at qt mart and light up. Dealing on the side of the laundry mat. The greed of these apartment companies and slum/landlords is disgusting.
I can totally relate to her story....I left a 12 year relationship that was mentally, physically, emotionally and financially abusive.... everyone asked how come you just don't leave....your scared af....he keeps you broke and threatens if he can't get to you then he'll get to you loved ones....like she said unless you've experienced abuse then you won't get it...it's not that easy....but IT CAN BE DONE!!! I finally broke free and I can breathe and actually enjoy life....it's been a little over a year now...
I admire that young lady. She didn't let her tragedies in life consumed her. Everyday is a challenge when you are financially challenged. You just can't give up.

Bahahahaha hahahahaha. Take away welfare and see how resilient they are. Then look at all the men in prison and see how many of them are from single mother homes.
I agree. However, ones melanin/race/gender has nothing to do with it. Any ONE of us who is part of the HUMAN race, can/do struggle….& have strength & be resilient enough to make it through.
Damn this reminds me of when we first moved to the US from Italy to Chicago with $500 in my account and not a single promised job or opportunity. Our apartment looked just like this. It was a 2 flat apartment.
I’m really sending love & prayers to this young lady, I can really relate to her in a lot of ways coming from a. Abusive relationship at a young age being a teen mom, starting over on ur own…. And it really hit home when she said ITS ALOT……BUT IT CAN BE DONE!!! I’d love an update with her!
This girl's life story is so sad to me🙁. She helps the less fortunate and wants to. I hope God blesses her to have a beautiful home for her children and will never worry about being homeless again. Jeez, videos like this really make me realize how much I take my life for granted.
This was your best video yet. I know its not easy to make this type of content for alot of reasons. But you got something with this here...this is something to tap into.
I am so proud of this young lady. She’s come through a lot… I hope that she gets everything repaired. Most things are backed up because of Covid, but the section 8 places need to be accountable for what they’re doing.
Big Super most people don't know that you are in TRENCHES of AZ. I commend you for walking them streets and getting the visuals out of how many are struggling. You are a very courageous young lady, and I love the fact that you're not afraid to speak your truth ! Keep you're head up, and keep pushing forward. You got this. Prayers for you and your children🙏.
Yo this sister is so so right. Unfortunately even the “nicer” apartment complexes have the same issues. Some of the same conditions and the management. They retaliate for speaking up about what they should already be doing. What you are paying super high rent for. I think you found another lane super.
Exactly! Its ridiculous, the people in the management in the apartment complexes treat the people like shit because they know there's so many people looking for a place to stay, they could fill that apartment up immediately! In fact they have a waiting list!
I’m going through it now! Last Friday, my manager gave me a 60 day notice, because I’m complaining about the issues they’re not addressing! Although I was planning to leave when my lease is up late October… I’m so tired of dealing with rude, unprofessional, evil people… It’s like, how you gone get mad and retaliate against someone who tells you the truth! Guess they see me as a trouble maker and whistleblower…. Oh well
1185 a month and she can't even use the pool? That's insane!!! My mortgage payment was half that, and I have 3 acres with 2 homes on it, a pool and hot tub which are sparkling clean, container gardens----I grow most of my veggies, a run for my dogs and cats, two sheds, and a small barn for my 3 mini horses. It's been paid off for over 10 years now. All I pay is 100 dollars a month for homeowners insurance, and 200 dollars a year for property taxes. Phoenix is not the place to be. I live near Prescott. (Jan Griffiths).
I luv AZ, The LORD really blessed me while I was stranded down there for 3 yrs. You gotta be tuff ppls to live in that heat day in and day out, Respect!
Gosh, keep this young lady and her family in your prayers. She's trying to do everything right. But over $1000 for that apartment and having to go through requesting repairs is ridiculous.
I was in the same type of relationship. We were married for only 1 year but we're high school sweet hearts so I thought. He started to physically abuse me in March and I didn't leave till November of the same year. I left him when he put me in a choke hold and told me "if I'm gonna die your gonna die with me" (he took a bunch of pills). My story is very long and won't say more but I feel your pain and I am sorry you and your kids went through all of that. You are very strong now don't ever let anyone ever bring you down. You are very inspiring woman.
I live in Arizona and it’s crazy how much rent is for most places. I remember just about 3 years ago it wasn’t that bad, house I live in was only $1,175, 3 Bed 2 bath. It’s now $1,600, and we’re lucky cause we kept renewing the lease so they couldn’t jump the price up like crazy. We have 5 people in this small house. I lived here all my life, born and raised and I wanna live here forever basically. It’s come down to a point where I feel I will be forced to move away to a state with cheaper housing, having to leave my family behind
More like 2k - 2.5k for anything acceptable house wise even then it's trash compared to what you could get 5-10 years ago in glendale even for $800-1k, not super outskirts. I left AZ born and raised there as well so i can relate, i left the country actually, never looking back. Life is much better in the places you wouldn't expect. Best of luck hope things get better there. Move to where you have peace of mind if you have to, stress is far too much on everyone in America. Don't lose your health and sanity ultimately. I was losing my mind working 16 hours a day can't even find those jobs anymore to keep up

She has a good heart. I would love to just bless her in some way.
My dad's granddaughter and her 4 kids lived in that complex 14 years ago. My dad said it had a lot of issues then too. But was only $450 a month rent for a 2 bedroom apt. Lots of issues with apt management and neighborhood. It was not the same color as today.

If she puts a written work order in via email and it's not done with in a reasonable time frame she can fix it or have it fixed and back charge them to her rent and she would win in court....the time frame they didn't fix it though is very important and depends on the issue...I been doing maintenance 12 years. She has a lot of ground to stand on depending on how long it's been since she had submitted those written or emailed work orders..az is a landlord favored state but some of her issues are rediculous.

She could easily point fingers and blame and repeat the same loop...but where has that ever got anybody in life...the truly great persevere in the worst of situations and come out even greater in the end! May God continue to watch over her 🙏🏽!
Yo wassup BIG SUPER now this is what I call Hood journalism the realest of the real, keep up the good work my brutha! Stay up! Stay blessed! And stay cool! Peace out from Eloy Arizona! ✌️
Phoenix has nothing on LA. LA is miles and miles, and miles of hood. we have just a couple blocks most of it being immigrant nieghborhoods.
@@Meme-zc4cw I moved from there in 2018. LA has more homeless than anywhere I have ever seen besides Mexico. Travel around the USA and then go to downtown LA it's truly mind blowing. The only other place that comes close is SF. Yes the housing prices are high and the people are still broke which is weird.
I was on that same block for years !!! Slept right there on that concrete slab so many times... was gone on them blues !!! I'm sober now up north working at the VA 👍 Don't give up, we're praying for everyone out there 🙏
I hope this doesn't backfire on this women and hope she keeps pushing forward. I may not know her, but proud she wants to do better. I hate how some of these landlords get away with the things they do..... Its not right to take money and not provide a safe place for people... 😠
Thank you for doing this documentary on Arizona. I'm a born native and lived here all my life. I was blessed to have a solid foundation with two parents and extended family. If you want something in life you must get an education and work everyday. People stop doing drugs it will take you to hell and that's were your bed will be.
She’s so badass and amazing!!! I was so damn proud of her!!! She is strong and she shared so much that God I pray whoever sees this is blessed with her strength. She is going to help so many others!!! She is a beautiful human!!! We need updates later
The broke girl with 8 kids? That's who you think is amazing?
@@oPt1k4L so because she has 8 kids and broke devalues her in some way. And somehow God values you above her?
🔥🔥❤❤💪🏾💪🏾We all watched this together as a family. Local news dont got nothing on your boots on the ground coverage. You out there in the community , talking to the people. Love the people and the strength they show, over coming situations & circumstances. Keeping Love & Light around them. ❤
She's a strong young lady, cities like Detroit prepare you to survive anything. I'm from Cleveland and I hit Detroit on the regular. She can make it anywhere.
Exactly! I’m from Upstate NY. We’re survivors. I grew up out there in the 60’s and left in 76. I was 19 yrs old when I left to come back here.TRUST AND BELIEVE THAT I COULDN’T WAIT TO GET OUTTA PHOENIX 🤣🤣🤣🤣
what an amazing testimony. Nothing impossible with God. Keep your eyes focused on HIM and he was sent your path straight.
Standing up nodding….IS NO JOKE!! I live near metro center mall. These people will sit on the sidewalk at qt mart and light up. Dealing on the side of the laundry mat. The greed of these apartment companies and slum/landlords is disgusting.
Why do u think raising canes right there had to get a cop 24 7 there Cuz that area is so ghetto
Omg I just wanna give her a hug!! I love her personality and how open she is to share this kind of stuff! So happy for her❤ God bless her🥹
I can totally relate to her story....I left a 12 year relationship that was mentally, physically, emotionally and financially abusive.... everyone asked how come you just don't leave....your scared af....he keeps you broke and threatens if he can't get to you then he'll get to you loved ones....like she said unless you've experienced abuse then you won't get it...it's not that easy....but IT CAN BE DONE!!! I finally broke free and I can breathe and actually enjoy life....it's been a little over a year now...
Keep safe and be well.
Glad that you could finally make it out of that situation!
Lots of hugs to you.
Thank you
AWH YEAH....... HE'S BACK......BIG SUPER 💯💯💯
I admire that young lady. She didn't let her tragedies in life consumed her. Everyday is a challenge when you are financially challenged. You just can't give up.
God Bless This Woman And Her Children!
Blessing too her for making a better life for herself & kids, thank you for showing these videos, I'm New Subscriber ❤you show everyday people fighting against the odds 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😊❤
Leah is phenomenal. The strength and resiliency of the blk woman is unmatched.
This video was so raw and real. It’s heartbreaking but I’m glad she shared her story.
This sister has a powerful presence.
God bless her and her kids amazing testimony. Only up from here, you give me hope.
This video was so real and informative. I wish the young lady all the best.
I’m proud of her. No one’s life is perfect, but she is making a way and not ashamed to tell her story.
Beautiful young lady! So open and honest! She was " literally" doing bad, and now she is "literally" doing good!❤️
Keep fighting Leah GOD has you. Very very informative video enjoyed it cried a little and prayed a lot
Big Super most people don't know that you are in TRENCHES of AZ. I commend you for walking them streets and getting the visuals out of how many are struggling. I live in AZ most people only hear of Scottsdale and The Cardinals stadium but there are many areas in AZ like this that have been forgotten
This channel is so real. I love how proud she is even though she has frustrations. I came off the street too and know what it's like to finally get your own place after years roughing it. Much love ❤️
Although I was planning to leave when my lease is up late October…
I’m so tired of dealing with rude, unprofessional, evil people…
It’s like, how you gone get mad and retaliate against someone who tells you the truth!
I love Mama! She so open and honest and aware! Salute Queen
I’m sure section 8 pays 85%
@@christylynn451 how do u know?
@@christylynn451 so the govt pays 850 and she pays 150 out of her pocket?
@@jalexander6200 You mean taxpayers! We are the government!
@@bcfly1965 yes correct
Hey big super glad to see you're back the hair cut looks really great my heart goes out to this woman may God bless her
Continued blessings for this young lady and her family! Keep up the good work.
I was losing my mind working 16 hours a day can't even find those jobs anymore to keep up
@@user-iu2kq7nx8u where did you head to?
@@user-iu2kq7nx8u What country did you move to?
I live in south phx and our 3 bed 2 bath is 1850 but the other houses around us with 3 beds are 2000 a month or more now
This is truly a gift from God that you have.. Everywhere you go , people from all walks of life.. Open up and pour out , and tell "Their Stories" to you. and the gift is.. You're Humble and pass no Judgement on them. That Gift is your Ministry. God bless you and keep doing what you're doing here. We'll keep watching and Praying. Praying for the young lady from the D just like me.. lol My heart felt for her .. but through it all.. her home was clean and nice she kept it up.. even though its in the hood and not the best.. She has a good heart. I would love to just bless her in some way.
Yes it's rough in that area. God bless you honey I'm praying for you and your children
My dad's granddaughter and her 4 kids lived in that complex 14 years ago. My dad said it had a lot of issues then too. But was only $450 a month rent for a 2 bedroom apt. Lots of issues with apt management and neighborhood. It was not the same color as today.
450 for 2 bedrooms u couldnt find that anywhere today
so your daughter or niece? lol
@@brandonburns5365 no. I was my dad's foster son. Not biological. My dads granddaughter is also a foster girl of his bio son. So not a real connection between family but we consider each other by first names.
Whatever on the lol
If she puts a written work order in via email and it's not done with in a reasonable time frame she can fix it or have it fixed and back charge them to her rent and she would win in court....the time frame they didn't fix it though is very important and depends on the issue...I been doing maintenance 12 years. She has a lot of ground to stand on depending on how long it's been since she had submitted those written or emailed work orders..az is a landlord favored state but some of her issues are rediculous.
We’re all suffering right now!! Inflation all around we all are barely staying afloat!
Interesting exclusive interview.
👍🏾 Thank you females for sharing.
Lived in these apartments in 1998, now all the way in Illinois, hope you make it out of there
Mannn this is real content right here!!! I wish we could see more like this. "reality". You cross paths with some of the best people.
This was deep. Her honesty & sincerity penetrated right through the screen. Had no intention of watching this video. I was actually searching for something else but starting watching this and couldn't stop.
Great video Super! I love how your content is evolving. Prayers to those featured in the video and keep pushin❤️

Yo i was following you when you had less than 1k subscribers. Crazy to see what you can do to build a brand in just a few short years. Keep grinding boss, build those subscribers! Start a business! Use the Big Super brand!
You should visit the apartments by 67th and glendale named glendale manors and explore the neighborhood! They are known for being crazy
Just moved here I live downtown and it’s beautiful didn’t realize this existed here honestly been driving around haven’t seen any struggling areas 💔
I believe in her. 🙌 I can tell she is unstoppable.
These folks are so strong, well spoken and resilient. I commend your strength to carry on. I have had severe mental health issues the last 2 years. I have list my job but thank goodness I can move in with my son. I am also in a very abusive relationship that I will escaping. When I feel bad for myself i try to remind myself many, many people have it way worse than I do. Glory to God he did relieve me of the curse of addiction.
I also think this young lady would be a great resource to any domestic violence organization. I see great things ahead of her.
Gosh dang you pay more than $1k for that apartment? I moved from Phoenix to Mexico cause it's so insane how much price of living is now in the Phoenix area... i pay $165/month for what looks like the same size you got. You got more cabinets and storage than I got though. I tell my landlord if I got a problem and they fix it right away.
Dang you lucked up… she’s a star!!! Bless her beautiful soul.
I've lived In Arizona all my life (17) and let me tell you... I have fond memories of living in Phoenix, but damn was it bad. My mom, brother and I decided to move from our gross old home, but damn all the decent places we're so dang expensive. So we decided to move out of Phoenix completely, since we left, it doesn't look like nothing has gotten better, I hope they do though.
It's like that in any state if you live in the ghetto ....but all the nice areas are sadly expensive for most especially if your single
