Your experience getting the hitch installed was informative. I'd be more interested in a higher tongue weight for my ebike and a plastic cover that only exposes the hitch with a removable plastic hitch cap. Model Y tongue weight is supposed to be about 165 pounds or so. About 40 pounds of that could be bike rack leaving 100 pounds for ebikes. I like the blue colour. It's pretty sharp.

Bumping of trailer is from the shit roads that large trucks create. ? I use my trailer more than, I ever used the bed of my truck, that's why I sold it to buy my Y . Oh I back up just under the trailers hitch without moving the trailer. The camera just catches the ball, so when you unhook it just get the hight about 2" above the cars ball.. We all hate the plastic cover I am on my 3rd as it gets scratches trying to get it off. needs a new design...
The bouncing trailer is a combination of crap roads and no load and lack of tongue weight. With a load and some tongue weight the bouncing stopped. Anyway, trucks are hard on our roads but the freeze and thaw of winters is what really kills ours. That plastic cover does really suck. I have found that a standard screwdriver works the best to get it started to pop off. Thanks for the comments, all feedback is good.
