This was a great tutorial, super helpful for my design project!
Super Tutorial of pie chart in illustrator! Thanks!
Great video! Thank you
How do you edit it, though? How would you be able to re-order the segments, or change the percentages later? That's what I had expected from this video.
right click. you have data, type and design
@@mrnomore right click where?
@@JD-mc3bl on the pie chart, having black arrow active
If you edit the data though, all the styling disappears 🙄
@@kapybara_park I'm having the same issues...
This was very well done and helpful. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
This was rly helpful, thanks!
Glad it helped!
When I chose pie chart and then do the other things when I click OK there is a colum chart not a pie one
Why cant I get the background behind my chart at the end?
My 40% is on top right how can I change it
Sorry for the simple question but how do we scale the whole chart?
How do you come back and edit an existing pie chart: Like add more wedges or change percentages? Do you have to just start from scratch and create a new one?
everything things s good one bad thing there we cannot change the size after create the chart shape
Hey, what would u say a good coding language to start with is, apart from python :D
It doesn't really matter that much which one you pick. I for example started with C++ (probably not the best choice). Pick something you want to build (a small project like a website, a chatbot, ...) and pick the most suitable language for it. That's the best way to learn in my opinion.
All stylizing disappears when editing data inputs for the graph...
You set the size of the chart as 450 x 450 px, but when the pie chart appears it seems to be 393 x 393 px, (approx). This is something that has always annoyed me about this feature, as you cannot resize it afterwards. How does one create an editable pie chart to an exact size?
i can't get the numbers/names inside the pie. i get a square for each instead. not what i want
Not sure if it's helpful but if you use Datylon for Illustrator chart maker plug-in, you will be able to do crazy things with labels, names, numbers etc.
Why did i read this as 'edible'pie chart😂😂
One day, technology will catch up to that.
How do you change the size?
I found a solution! Select your pie graph, go to object>transform>scale and resize it as needed :)

scale option is not available unless you ungroup and lose the access to data @@doodlebug7250
I was able to do this with almost 0 previous illustrator skills but fuck it was giving me an anxiety attack haha
