hi! where do you create your moodboards?
Hi Malin. I'm really bad at drawing like I've been studying drawings, and paintings since I was young but I can't seem to get better. I'm currently a graphic design student and I am always not satisfied with anything I draw. It will always look unprofessional or childish. I feel like I've tried everything and I'm still bad when comparing to my friends. Are there any tips you could share?
Hi, and thank you for your question! I can completely relate to your feelings and I would try a couple of things.
For me, I can never draw anything when I feel frustrated or when I feel bad about my work. My suggestion is to try and see every drawing session as a way to explore and not care about what the end result looks like (it can be hard but it's really important).
Try to look at lots of different tutorials with different styles and things to draw and follow along with someone else's process. This way, you can start to see how other illustrators are structuring their drawings and you can start to see how you like to draw.
Maybe you realise that you really dislike drawing people but love drawing landscapes for example. We need that curiosity and playfulness to improve.
I know it's really hard but my best tip is to take the pressure off and skip the comparison. Try out different mediums like digital and paint and get back to why you enjoy drawing.

Thank you, I'm so happy you found it helpful 🙌 It is a stylus pen and it is actually broken so I use the "eraser" part to draw which works surprisingly well 😂 If you are looking to buy a pen, there are two general options. Some like to buy an apple pencil because they respond to thickness of strokes better. I have always used more generic brands since they are more affordable so if you search for stylus, you will find other options if you would like an alternative to apple. Hope that helps!

For Illustrating I use an iPad and work in the program Procreate. :)
which application you used to design the infographic structure?
I used Procreate on my iPad to create the illustrations and Adobe Illustrator to add the text and export it. I hope that helps! 😊
how many hours it take you to create this thank you
Great question. In this case, it took me about 4 hours but if I had a client, it would probably take 2-3 times as long since I would have to factor in feedback and maybe even doing multiple concepts. When I first started, the illustrations took me much longer but it has been going faster and faster as I learn 😊 I hope that helps!

Hi, oh that is lovely! I guess it's mostly the style I have developed over the years, but I am often inspired by anything cottage core, kawaii and hand drawn. Sorry to not have a better answer.
