All 50+ Adobe apps explained in 10 minutes

- Adobe makes so many software that it can be quite overwhelming for even a professional to understand what each one is used for.
Many people who are new to this have confusing questions regarding similar apps like "what is difference between after effects and premier pro" or "What is the difference between Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Bridge".
So, I made this video to quickly give you an overview of all adobe products as I couldn’t find a similar guide anywhere else, not even in Adobe’s own website. I hope it helps anyone entering the creative fields to get a sense of different apps.

Adobe added a few 3D software to their collection recently, so I have made a video explaining the entire Adobe Substance 3D suite in just 5 minutes in my latest video. It is similar style to the video you just watched, and goes through the basics of 3D modelling too. All in less than 5 mins!

Believe it or not, I’ve used both Photoshop and Dreamweaver before! When I was in high school, I took Studio Photography and Web Design classes-both of which heavily relied on Adobe programs for their curriculums. And I made some incredible stuff in Studio Photography using Photoshop-including taking an oil painting, adding real-life objects into it (like a real-life hanging lamp, which was one of them), and then editing those objects to make them blend seamlessly into the original art. And the result blew me away. It’s amazing just how much Photoshop can do, not just for pros, but for literally anyone who has the money to afford it.

It does exists. It's called Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application. From this application, you can manage your Adobe CC applications(install, update, uninstall), sync your data and get free tutorials for applications. There are many more features which comes with this app.

For graphic design at school we use photoshop to sketch ideas and brainstorm, Illustrator to refine designs and Indesign to make a portfolio for our work.

to be fair i prefer that way, like i use blender and blender is like 10 different adobe softwares smashed together and it was REALLY hard to learn all the shortcuts etc because of how complicated the software is... All of this to learn that I could do what I want to do siply with dimension, illustrator and photoshop which are easier to use since it's focused on ONE thing.
To be fair, if adobe smashed every single app they have into one, it would not only take all the space on your computer, but also take 7 years just to lunch

technically they reduce the tools for each program so it gets minimalistic yet compact

The difference (I think) for Photoshop Classic is you pay a big fee upfront and then own it forever. The Photoshop CC version is paid through a smaller monthly subscription. If you stop paying you can't use it anymore.

Adobe XD is really nice, I have my classmate that knows how to draw but doesn't know how to code, so he can't design, found this video then he was able to bring the design to me. But the add-ons on Adobe XD sucks, you can't export it as a different format to be used in PHP or kotlin/Java.

I mean these are mostly for professionals, yeah it was nice seeing this video and getting to know Adobe products but how many of us are really interested in buying it? Why would Adobe invest in marketing when there's little outcome? They're not selling shoes!

@@MamadNobari - I remember pirating Adobe Photoshop back in the day. Then, about 15+ years ago, I got a legitimate copy of Adobe Photoshop CS, and eventually upgraded that to CS3. I've been paying for an Adobe CC subscription for the last two years. I don't even know what half of the stuff does. I actually found this video because I was looking for InDesign tutorials, because Microsoft Word has seemed antiquated the last two books I've put together.

Yes and no. The statement “computer programs” encompasses literally anything that can run on a computer. For “creative” software that deals with photos, videos, etc, Adobe definitely has a majority of the market share. However, Adobe is not the largest software company. Currently, according to wikipedia, Microsoft is the largest software company, followed by Oracle, followed by SAP, and then followed by Adobe. So Adobe is definitely a large software company, and the largest for the specific type of software they make, but there are larger companies that also make “computer programs”
