More demoes of the Looking Glass are coming in, yet, to me this is still the best one... Thanks Andy. Bought one from you guys. Looking forward to it ;-)
Yes buy one. Truly sweet breakup in low mode. Forget the up switch it's noisy. Stacks beautifully with anything I've tried for solos. eg. Green Rhino /Mudhoney.
Such an old video, but I still had to watch it because I’m about to build one of these suckers. Nice song choice. Only problem is that I couldn’t stop singing, and it was hard for me to listen to the dang pedal haha.
I really enjoy my Looking Glass pedal. My only slight downer on it, is the noise floor could be lower. Probably difficult with the mount of control and options it has, but it's definitely noisier than something like my Ooh Drive II from Dytone (no longer made to be fair), which can be fully transparent at lower gain (you can't hear when it's on or off when playing quietly at all). I use the Looking Glass as my lower gain option in my high-gain rig. I have a very clean boost running before all the pedals in that rig aiding the signal to noise ratio by keeping gain lower in the amp/pedals..
Sweet breakup in low mode. Does not over saturate your tone. You will leave it on. Stacks well with compressor and or overdrives. Hi mode is noisy and unusable - you don't need it tho. Stack it in low mode. I love this pedal. It's what I've been looking for.
two words: get one! with the gain all the way down its a wonderful sculpting tool! I have two new pedals that Ill never part with: this one and the BOSS OD-1X; both are overdrives, but I dont override them if you know what I mean: after my beloved main ped Mad Prof Simble both of these pedals bring that little extra sumthing to the tone! : )
just realised the factum that Digitech( LG) is kinda digi as well as the Boss, so there you go.., Im NOT gonna part with these pedals for a while!! the Looking Glass is really unique!!! the BOSS OD1-X too!! after Simble quite delicate.. !!!!!
i know im pretty late, but would it work well to stack this with a kind of fuzzy distortion (the walrus audio RED distortion to be exact) at a more low gain setting? im looking for a drive pedal to have on pretty much all the time (the looking glass or a wampler tumnus) that doesnt sound to saturated and horrible when adding a distortion to the mix
I've had this for over a year and I keep it on time. It makes all my fuzzes better and my high gain pedals too. One of the cool things about this pedal is that when you use your guitar volume to clean up or just change the dirt level, the pedal retains your guitar pickup's high end throughout the sweep. I love it, that's why I'm still watching videos about it a year later :)
Andy, I don't know if you glass over the comments but I was curious...it seems with the market flooded with overdrive pedals they are all beginning to mesh into one another. Out of all the pedals you've tried which would you say is the most versatile? I love my green maxon but the fuzzbubble 45 is another great one
Great Video and Description, Great Playing Too !! Im Going To Buy One Of These , Love The Tones and Distortions . great Playing keep on rockin thks again : ) jcm 4444jcmyoutube
Nailed The Bends sounds. You always pick the right song

Chimes like a bell, that CLEAN BOOST is great!!! allowing good songwriting and musicianship to shine through.
Glad to see Shoe working with a big name. They make some great fuzzes, and this overdrive's got some versatility.
Has a great tone and design.

THIS IS AMAZING
I LOVE the filter option to help fine tune the tone. I love this pedal and I need it in my life and on my board.

I'm a few years late to the party. But dang, this pedal is 🔥
I just ordered one from reverb.
Total sleeper.
Likewise. It's now a staple on my board.
I just scored one for $125 😍
Yeah! That sounds professional. That's how it should sound. Very organic.
Nikolaus Brocke But it's not made in US at all. It's made in China. Andy lied to me!
I get it. Because the other thing with a horseman doesn't quite do that.

Andy could play through a Gorilla and a 10 dollar yard sale electric and make it sound good. But I do like the way this pedal sounds.
This and the Red Spiral by Spiral Effects are my favorite ODs. Trying to get my hands on a Savior Machine.
This pedal is beautiful.
thanks...now i got the bends.
BABY'S GOT THE BENDS!!!
great sounding drive!!!!!!! What an amazing company!!!!!!!
This actually sounded good.....not so typical
I am feeling the background music !
Sounds like a good alternative to a Timmy.
It does sound like a timmy....nice
I can confirm that.

This would go with my HIWATT CP-504 really well.

Pre or post-compressor?
Looks like this could be my next overdrive, maybe put it in front of my Cloven Hoof ... hmmm
Very interesting overdrive.
Baby's got the Bends!
I like the bunny!!!!
R.D. Dragon Reminds me of Donnie Darko, but the Looking Glass name is probably an Alice in Wonderland reference.
Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?
Is it about the bunny?
No. It's not about the bunny.
Or is it?
Has a good southern rock sound
My fav sound pedal
Didnt want the pedal. *Plays The Bends* Want the pedal

I stack mine with an ehx crayon - crayon for the high gain and bright, LG for the classier, lower gain and warmth. stacks very very well :)

I just spotted an error, the Looking Glass in not made in the USA, it is Designed in the USA and made in China.
There’s a problem.
Damn it Andy you make all these music boxes sound awesome with your dynamite playing your going to bankrupt a lot of players especially me
This or BCC TI boost? Looks very similar and costs almost the same ...
This sounds somewhat similar to the Timmy pedal (?)
Air pick style?
sounds great anyone know which amp was used?
can't find my pick oh
it's been hanging out somewhere
RADIOHEAD. The reason I decided to pick up a guitar! ❤️
RADIOHEAD!!!! Yeah!!
Would this be good pedal to match up with my AC30 HWH and cab?

The lead guitar in the background song (comes in on the right ear at around 2:25) - which pedal is that? Fuzz factory?

Still a great pedal...
So is every part inside of the "American made" pedals
Crappy
jeshurt1 it's ok. For a light airy sound it's not exactly heavy. It's pop
