- I'm restoring my Cobra 139 XLR and noticed the tsb has not been done. This video shows why and how to do the technical service bulletin. Relocating TR36 and removing R153 to prevent frequency drift due to added heat buildup.

I had and used as a teen a Cobra 142, I learned a lot about electronics, CB, HAM, Shortwave, and building my own amp out of old tubes from TV's. My heart will always be with my first Cobra 142.

Nice radio i have one those cobra 139 40 channel mod no channel mods switchs all crystals.
you should do more videos on cb radios repairs it will help cb radio hobby out there maybe new generation learn how fix radios.
