I completely agree and in my PERSONAL OPINION, think that many people are obsessed with regional variants. I could understand legends areceus because that's sinnoh of the past. That's what they looked like back then. Usually rv's are either the original species found in another region (galarian Zigzagoon, alolan exeggutor) or adaptations over time. BDSP are remakes. It wouldn't make sense for random different typings pokemon to appear out of nowhere. No time has changed. Atleast not enough for there to be regional variants. USUM would've made sense if they brought more rv's to the game. Galar actually did what alola didn't and it made sense. Again this is just my OPINION. So don't be upset at me for going on about how I strongly disagree with "sinnohan forms".

This pattern being that milotic and gyarados are both very similar Pokémon coming from smaller fish that are the opposites of their final from. Fee as is ugly and milotic is beautiful, magikarp is weak, and gyarados is powerful. Since they are so similar yet far apart they are like cousins
if they do regional forms they should try introducing new type combinations bc there r already psychic rock types and same for dark fire maybe zebstrika could became a fire electric with a new ability
I don't see gen 1-4 getting regional variants in BDSP only gen 5-8 pokemon and if there a 1 or 2 stage Evo line they should just get a evolution like milotic could evolve into a dragon/water type, zebstrika could evolve into a electric/dark type, xatu could evolve into a totem pole that is psychic/rock, the alola grollias could have a pre evo that evolves and then evolves again into the grollias depending on day or night. I think every regular pokemon Evo line should be 3 stage that doesn't include legendary, mythical and Ultra beast. It's the reason I dislike megas and regional variants that are not for 3 stage pokemon like garados could evolve into a dragon/water if it's male and female water/dark and Lucario needs another evolution make it look cooler with a metal staff.
@@Justic_ then we disagree because pokemon set the limit of a 3 stage Evo the only thing that goes beyond that is megas a gimmick in a few mainline games, I think is cool but not letting 1 or 2 stage evolve if it has a mega is stupid in my opinion like aduino let it evolve into a normal/fairy also why I don't like regional variants that aren't 3 stage is because it limits the pokemon from getting a new evolution like stunfish I guess it could get 2 pre evos that are smaller fish. Also Digimon can not be compared to pokemon their is so many things one baby Digimon can evolve into unlike a pokemon where there are a handful of Pokemon that have branch evo and fewer than that have multiple branch evo.
