I noticed that from 18:24-18:56 the audio is silent. Other than that, this list is really strong.
I feel like a couple others could’ve been on the list if there were move tutors to give them better move sets.
Sad to see Mamoswine not being mention. I always choose Mamoswine over Wevile for my Ice type.
This beast cleaves teams wide open.
Yeah i have mamo on pearl and weavile on diamond both do really well i believe in my opinion given the moveset on them and support around them
Mystic: moves depend on teams composition
Me: choosing the last six Pokemon and realising imbalance
Good part about using a room is you can evolve it as you pleased.
Same is with castform which also changes it's typing according to wheather
Starmie has been the MVP for my playthrough. Had a friend hatch one and trade it over early. Thunderbolt, Surf, Dazzling Gleam, and Psychic, rolled the E4. Grown to love that thing after that
Luxray and togekiss have been the mvps of my team against cynthia, togekiss is 100% worth the effort
Starmie is just insane.
Yeah I used a starmie in leaf green yeaaaaars ago and loved it ever since. It’s fast and has so much versatility
@@xlEnvyy jynx was better for leaf green, unless your starter wasn’t venasaur
@@lostnreality3611 what moves do you have on your togekiss? I'm growing one and so far I haven't found a good opportunity to use it..
My dragonite has been my teams ace forever it’s such a defensive tank and can recover well with roost plus having dragon dance and like 2 attacking moves just makes it quite viable at sweeping
I’m enjoying how you incorporate the tcg artwork into the videos and thumbnails
Garchomp was in Ubers despite not being a legendary or having Shadow Tag. It made sense to be Number 1, with the best non-setup physical only moveset being Earthquake, Outrage (although I prefer Dragon Rush), Fire Fang, and Iron Head/Poison Jab (whether Fire Fang won’t be enough for an Ice or a Grass type).
How do you get Fire Fang on a Garchomp in BDSP? By breeding? - I thought that was not possible....
How ever Dragonite can come pretty close with:
Earthquake
Outrage/Dragon Rush/Dragon Claw
Fire Punch/Thunder Punch
Steel Wing/Extreme Speed
Dragonite has even more base Attack than Garchomp and brings more bulk with Multiscale.
@@Swamtrooper8 Garchomp can’t get Fire Fang. You’ll need both Iron Head and Poison Jab for Ice and Fire types, or simply swap one with Giga Impact for a finish.
Garchomp is pretty easy to be without dragon dance. Especially if the person has a team with a fairy or ice pokemon.
Man I really love the style of your video’s/channel! Really welldone ❤️
Dragonite is such a tank with Multiscale. Hits like one too, especially after a single Dragon Dance. It’s a shame he no longer can use Dual Wingbeat in BDSP but his movepool is still so damn good.
what moves are you using on your dragonite?
@@LilShriga I'm gonna backpack your comment so I can know his answer
@@LilShriga Dragon Claw for STAB, Dragon Dance for Setup, Extreme Speed for Priority, and either Fire Punch or Earthquake for coverage. Personally, I stick with Earthquake more often for the higher damage.
@@nintendolife25 Why dragon claw over Outrage? I have the same move set except I have outrage instead, just wondering.
@@toritosilva No reason at all. Just personal preference. It’s just that if my opponent switched to a more suitable Pokémon and Dragonite at least has an alternate option to deal damage to it, I wish to switch to that option rather than switch the Pokémon. That’s just me though because your current moveset is also good.
I have Scizor and Clefable on my current playthrough team. My plan before launch was to have Rotom Wash on the team as well, but found out it was post game, so instead had Floatzel and Electivire to replace that need. My plan for my next playthrough team is to create one around using Infernape and Gliscor (I used Torterra in my first one).
Yo what's your friend code? I'd love to battle you sometime!!!
Whats the moveset, nature and EV split for clefable? Also the ability.
I would love a more in-depth review on each of the top 10. Like what nature to look for etc. With my return to Pokemon games this channel is super helpful.
Nature is dependant on how u want it. 2 viable options competition wise
nature is great for competitive but its not that revelent during the playthrough.
Big old audio problem at around 18:20
Umbreon with 252 in def/sp.def... Teach it toxic, confuse ray, double team and moonlight. It's the most annoying pokemon to fight.
This a battle tower set? Lol
wait what?
Double team?
Too bad evasion is bad in every respectable format.
Kek kek
Just can't wait for the best team and it is going to be here on the same day as demon slayer season 2, double celebration for us.
Indeed! Demon Slayer is a legendary anime
Hype,Hype,Hype
Sao progressive, Bdsp best team, Demon slayer season 2 and don't forget JJK... Adult film 😜
Also one day after the fortnite event
Truee
@@saadharoon2110 fortnite spoiler!!
I warned you
Map turning upside down is confirmed
Abomasnow came in clutch in my Cynthia battle, Aurora Veil and Blizzard completely shut down Garchomp
Because garchomp has skill dragon and ground so ez if we use ice
Too bad there is no mega evolution. Mega abomasnow is at least UU
@@destruction8192 not if every other mega exists too
For me it came in clutch to against her Spiritomb freezing it for a few rounds giving me the chance to recover
My garchomp came in clutch against garchomp seeing dragons r weak to one another
Loved the new video. But did something happen during the end of the editing? I thought my volume was down for a sec lol
Magnezone is amazing in game. I should consider grabbing a Magnemite from the Grand Underground when I go for another playthough.
I totally went and grabbed a Gible as soon as I got the 6th gym badge. I needed that Garchomp fix.
Magnezone is a beast love this guy!❤🙏
@@derrickrose4233 can you catch them in the wild, I don’t have anyone to trade with
@@isaacskinner3643 You can get magnemite in the underground and then evolve him in magneton lvl 30 and then you can use a thunderstone when you dig it up in the underground or wait a bit longer to find it above👍
I actually have 6 IV Gibles in Adamant and Jolly. Definitely interested in seeing what they can do.
I personally prefer Electivire over Magenzone, in a head to head matchup Electivire absolutely walls Magenzone with Motor Drive nullifying it’s electric moves and Electivire has access to dig, flamethrower, fire punch and hammer arm to decimate Magnezone
Just a note, you listed a fair amount of stuff that isn't even in the game. Cleffable soft boiled and rocky helmet to name two.
He does this all the time lol. Dude will say things that make no sense and then mocks people calling him out on it 😂
@@gearzofwar123 00
Assuming he meant Moonlight 👍
@@lukejohnsonftw he also said Magnezone learns Toxic in this gen when it doesn’t lol
@@gearzofwar123 Fair enough 😂
I love how Cynthia's theme played for the number 1 spot
I would love to see a competetive sandteam with Garchomp, Tyranitar, Gliscor, Scizor, Rotom and so on but unfortunately we have a 20 min. timer 😑
Amazing video 📸📸🙂🙂🙂 thanks mystic I love watching your videos on you tube
Love it keep up the vids!
audio messed up a bit at 18:25
I’d have to say one of the best Pokémon I’ve used was Gardevoir and Froslass
I swear the last bunch of videos are like when kids copy each other’s homework but change a few of the answers 😂
played through the whole game with gligar until i reached the battle zone to evolve into gliscor totally worth it and reliable a must have pokémon for your team.
Gen 4 brought one of the greatest fire starters ever. Infernape is my 2nd favorite fire starter behind only Cinderace.
I’m ready play sword and shield for the first time I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews
I’m ready play sword and shield for the first time I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews
IT is also the second best.
Have you no shame?
Blazekin wants to have a word with you lol. Jokes aside, I’m really liking Infernape in my play through
First I just watched your best team vidio i dont know how but now I am a regular viwer love you
That Umbreon animation is great.
I used to think Steel Types were overrated, but after using them in back to back games ( Corviknight and Copperajah in Sword and Magnezone in Brilliant Diamond), I now see why they're so widely used
yea, they resist almost everything
Steel: wanna hear a joke?
Ice: sure
Steel: resistances
Ice: I don’t get it
Steel: exactly
Now imagine how scary metagross was when it wasn’t weak to dark and ghost
@@tylord96 Metagross WAS neutral back then before they nerfed steel a bit in gen vi. I guess having Mega Metagross that doesn't weak to Dark were too much 😂
I’m here for the great info and the editing audio mistakes at the end! Yes!! 🤘🏽
Honorable mention should go to togekiss, cuz it jus straight up walls garchomp's stab, and sum good fairy stab to hit back.
Ran into a Lvl 28 absol on my first trip to the underground right after the 2nd gym. Had a 90+ attack already and two levels later learned night slash. Also caught with slash and was able to learn night claw, giving me 3 high chance crit moves. As of rn (in the middle of the team galactic lake battles currently) Absol is damn near carrying me thru this game.
Nice bro
Hands down my fav pokemon from Ruby
If you don't wanna use rotom wash use milotic. My playthrough I'm doing right now, she carried me in the elite 4 and the rest of the game. Make shore it has competitive though. By far the best ability for single player. Mine had a modest nature with a ev or IV (I don't remember) in sp. atk.
Surf (Vale stone Department store)
Rain Dance ( Vale stone Department store or lvl up)
Hydro pump (lvl up)
Ice beam (Vale stone Department store)
Have fun finding it in the basement of Mt. Coranet. 4 random tiles in the whole water. Trust me though it's worth it. Edit: To max out it's beauty is easy. Chesto razz and Oran barries are the best for the poffens you want, they make 28 or 29x3. Just make sure you use your highest poffens first or it won't be high enough and you have to start over with a different feebass.
Wow another shock top 10. Keeps these coming!
What about Drifblim? Minimize and stockpile into baton pass, just like in gen 4, but now strength sap!? The best Pokémon just got even better for this reason.
for reals, been running this one
driftblim (modest, unburden)
mago berry (for some healing and activating unburden)
will-o-wisp
minimize
strength sap
hex
it helps out a lot
What happened to the sound at the end there?
I agree with you entirely on the list here. I've definitely used all of these once or twice in previous games and is only a matter of time until I breed them in this game around.
What about Pokemon like Mismagius, Electivire, Magmortar though? Breeding for a Mismagius right now myself. That Special Attack is deadly.
Infernape (🐒🔥) will always be my favorite Pokémon
THE MONKE!!
Just a personal opinion but Gastrodon should atleast get an honorable mention. It can be used to tank ice and water hits for that Gligar. amazing coverage with it's Ice beam, Earth power, scald, recover set. using leftovers for more consistent healing. and its only weak to grass. Things a monster to fight.
I agree
But slow to level up
I love both but it's always going to be Dragonite > Garchomp for me, only bc Dragonite is my favorite Pokemon of all time.
Damn right! He’s my favorite as well
Dragonite is both badass and cute! That alone is a huge bonus for me
Hey Mystic. I'm very psyched for the Best Team for BDSP and the alternate starter Best Team for BDSP this Saturday. Also, Not to be confused, Saturday is December 4th, Not the 5th, So check your calendar Mystic 😉.
That what I been saying.
@@raheembarnes5073 You're right about that 😉. Someone has to notify MysticUmbreon about that, Remember, Saturday, December 4th, Let him know 😊.
Most of the Pokémon on this list are ones that are already available in sword and shield but I’m excited to use Gliscor again
The biggest choke on my life
Was yesterday
When I saw beasts like swampert salamence gyarados hypowdowm
The beasts trio ...
All of the dropped to UU
I think some pokes need the support of other to maintain their tiers but here we only have gen 1-4
@@strongerthankakarot2744 yup but in gen 4 all of them were OU
Salamence was even banned
Magnezone also has magnet-rise to Levitate from ground types
Azumaril saved my arse, tanked a Poison Jab from Garchomp despite being on par level wise and one hit KO'ed it, things scary with Huge Power.
Scissor don’t know if I’m smelling it right but he tank so many attacks for for, and dragonite is just 🔥
Scizor
Tyranitar
Clefable
Magnezone
Dragonite
Infernape
Weavile
Rotom wash
gliscor
Garchomp
I’m looking forward to the explanation why infernape is the best starter
Just so you know, the audio becomes super quiet at around the 18:23 mark. I can’t hear anything. I love your videos though
Mystic, what happened to your conclusion before the outro?
Yoooooo the intro synced up perfectly as i went in the mesprit cave 😂
one of the best pokémon on my team was Manaphy, she easily swept a couple of the Elite Fours pokemon along with most of the trainers, and was always super resilient against taking damage, Chimecho too, she was usually the last pokemon standing in my battles, along with using Leftovers, she was almost impossible to defeat, love them
I’m just a bit confused since I don’t really do breeding a lot but how would I be able to get infernape with iron fist I know I have hitmonchan but breeding gives me just the moves
I’m using a magnezone. He’s does what he’s supposed to as a streel/electric type and pretty much nothing can really hurt him
Fire will literally kill him in one move
@@randylam7159 laughs in Sturdy ability
Ground moves are a killer for magnizonw unless he has levitate as a special ability
Laughs in Mold Breaker😭
What's it's name
16:17 the theme fits the pokemon that's about to be shown
Imagine every type had an immunity ability like levitate is to ground, then Imagine a hi base total bug/steel type with the fire immunity ability 🤯
considering how much MU despises slow pokemon, im astounded he was able to so casually overlook Tyranitars speed...
Hey mysticumbreon, I have a garchomp on my team but… I don’t know what moveset to give it I thought like earthquake, outrage and something else but what ?? Please tell me!
A strong video mystic
Cynthia was 1 shoting me with garchomp, sheesh he's strong
I saw a rotom in the grand underground once when i was first starting and i was surprised because from what i knew it was a rare pokemom but new game whatever i didn’t pay it any mind and now i’m mad i have to level up a level 15 one
Cleffable can't learn Soft Boiled, that FRLG move only, so has to be transferred all the way up from gen 3.
Dragonite's 80 Base Speed
MysticUmbreon: Omg That Speed is Awful is why its holding it ba....
Dragonite holding Extreme Speed: lol you activated my trap card
Why am I appreciating Mystics Hating
Lol if a stat isn’t 90+he calls it trash
should i max out my jolly scyzor or try to get an adamant one?
I'd like to also mention Feraligatr here. Feraligatr is one of the few fully evolved starters with a good hidden ability. Namely Sheer Force. Give it a Life Orb and use Dragon Dance a couple of times and it'll be quite a threat.
Fav pokemon
@@64Juice Same here! :D
Heart of my team feraligatr is
@@bigvon7848 Noice!
The thumbnail is pretty sick tbh
18:17 idk what happened to the audio after this point
Been waiting for garchomp to be shown some love
The audio messed up right at the end
Did audio cut off for anyone else at the end segment?
Hippowdon better be in this list. My favorite Pokémon.
can somebody tell me some really strong sets
like even legendary‘s or shinyd what do you think the best set is in your opinion
I came in honestly expecting snowcloak froslass to be higher on this list i use one with weather ball castform to take ability of the evasivniss
I’m suprised a psychic type Pokémon didn’t make the list though i can probally guess who would of gotten in between the main ones
This video was great.
D nite has always been a favorite for me
Are you going to remaster omega ruby and alpha sapphire. It’s been 5 years or have you not remastered it because your team is good enough
So in brilliant diamond, Gligar was a godsend for me. Learned acrobatics early and speced it into substitute, swords dance acrobatics and bulldoze and makes the game ez mode
Got him too but just found out I can’t even evolve him till end game shit is lame as fuck (maybe not all hope gone tho idk if it’s possible to find razor fang in underground)
@@hellaloud9224 i think its a rare drop from UG but still his high defense means gligar is a nice switch into any ground or electric moves and even a physical attacker will have problems taking him down. Plus you can give it an eviolite for massive stat boost until you evolve it
@@JazzCabbagE7 yea gligar amazing, also found out the UG doesn’t have any razorfangs. rip it is post game
Sadly weavile can’t learn icicle crash yet. It’s only ice type physical move is ice shards. When home is introduced it will be able to, but as of now it has a lot less pressure than I could.
There’s sneasle in the underground who have it as an egg move. I have ice punch and throat chop on my weavile
@@isaiahgooden1705 really? Oh wow that’s really good to know! I didn’t know it could be learned as an egg move
do you still have to evolve scizor with a metal coat and trading
I still don't have the games but if I get Brilliant diamond from my dad this list would be useful. But I like the list.
Hey, can anyone hear what he's saying near the end? The sound mixing is way off, so I can't hear him over the music.
I haven’t actually played the game yet but I’m just watching this because I want advice on what Pokémon I should use
Ademant Skunktank do be a beast! Change my mind.
Just got my 49th win in the tower in doubles! This is the team I used.
I lead with garchomp to start sword sweeping asap
Garchomp @ yache berry
Sand veil (Rough skin would've been better)
Poison jab
Dragon claw
Swords dance
Earthquake
I lead with togekiss to absorb ice type attacks for one turn or try and get some flinches off. Paired really nice with garchomp bc of earthquake. I would've chosen a different mon but idk who else isn't hit by earthquake and has follow me.
Togekiss @ Razor Fang
Serene Grace
Protect
Air Slash
Follow me
Safeguard
Rotom wash was there to either take out tanks with wisp and ray or hit flying targets garchomp couldn't.
Rotom W @ Leftovers
Levitate
Discharge
Will-O-Wisp
Confuse Ray
Hydro Pump
Infernape was my finisher. His protect let rotom stall/discharge. Close combat and flare blitz is also able to clean up the last few mons with the White herb if they don't resist it. (If you and the last opponent die after you use flare blitz you still win)
Infernape @ White Herb
Blaze
Close Combat
Mach punch
Flare Blitz
Protect
My team I used is the same from when I was a kid
Infernape
Garchomp
Snorlax
Togiekiss
Gyradose
Sizzor
I was thinking of using weavile but I love Sizzor to much
Extra points for using your og team from back in the day.
can anybody tell me how the hell i got a longan berry? i've been
searching all over the internet for this but i couldn't even find
anything on them existing in the game. i assume i got them through my
following pokemon but even then the list of obtainable berries doesn't
match up. btw. i haven't beaten the game yet so it wasn't from any
legendary pokemon and it wasn't traded
Is it rare to find roselia with poison barb and extrasenory and gabite spawn In the same place as a gible
Fun fact: swimming is just flying in water and flying is just swimming in the air
I thought weavile and magnezone both are stronger than Infernape and why tyranitar's so low it's ou in every generations including emerald kaizo, radical red, crystal kaizo etc
Weavile.....an Ice and Dark Type.....smirk...strr... stronger than Infernape...a Fire and Fighting Typppe hahahagHaHaHAHA
@@darianclark3980 stronger doesn't means killing each other and get their position. If that's so gonna happen then I say lvl 1 aron > mega rayquaza
You have to look at other mons being used in OU, Hippowdon, Garchomp, Gliscor, Mamoswine water types Starmie, azu, Manaphy , Empoleon, Ferraligatr and close combating Infernape, Lucario and staraptor in one word TTar is weak to entire OU
@@dip5766 I haven't seen anyone saying T-tar's weak to entire ou
@@strongerthankakarot2744 if you check the usage stats TTar is the least used amongst all 10 in the list, I personally think banded TTar is the only good option bcoz Hippowdon is far better sand stream mon
You please do a top 10 physically strongest Pokémon list? Based on feats of strength in Poké-dex entries and such
Pretty sure the baseline would be Regigigas, or was it the top?
Knock off actually isn't boosted by technician it's 65 base power
I like having dig on on my gliscor because he is immune to earthquake and bulldoze even underground and poison heal would give it a free turn of healing during that
🤯
!st time someone actually had a prefect list and i agree
Weevile being a glass canon:
Honchkrow 4 gen meta: *chuckle* I'm in danger!
Swampert will always be the strongest in my ❤.
He is, I always thought of him as one of the strongest starters ever existing. Especially with the mega evolve :)
I was choked when I saw it drop to UU
Actually swampert and infernape were the most successful starters without needing megas or hidden abilities I was choked when I saw it drop to UU yesterday
I love swampery
Ah, another person of class I see.
Even without breeding, you can just TM poison jab on Garchomp for the fairy coverage
I know Magnezone is good but due to me running it offensively or something else my Magnezone literally can't take over 2 high roll hydro pumps so I, literally started using Rotom wash it is so much better especially with the Sitrus berry I tossed. It is perfect for either damaging Garchomp or baiting Latios and killing it with Clefable so I personally recommend Rotom wash also Gliscor is terror and Rotom wash shuts it day and night. Also for any newbies to BDSP because don't try to pivot around Tyranitar you get wrecked especially if it is a choice scarf or band. And finally pls use Clefable as if I needed to say that. Peace
