💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

Peanut Brittle is delish. The cashew brittle sounds even better. I am diabetic and was once able to buy an artificially sweetened kind. Can't eat the sugary type. 😢

This was the beginning of tooth decay for me. My love for hard candy came from my grandfather. Grandpa would let me have Root beer barrels as a treat. I grew up eating them and now I still eat them. Sadly I spend a lot of money on dental insurance 😅
You have to mix that with peanut butter no peanuts just peanut butter and whip it on that hook

Why do you stretch it before cutting? Where I'm from we have a peanut candy/desert that's similar, it's called pé-de-moleque, but it's poured without stretching. Just curious to know if there a specific reason, does it make easier to cut, to eat?
They showed it in one video.
If they don't stretch, the candy becomes really think and hard and almost impossible to eat without breaking your teeth. If they stretch, the candy is thin.
