It's scary to me. He's don't this exact same routine step by step word for word thousands of times. I could never. I have to vary how I do and say things. It just feels awful for me when I am repeating myself robotically or automatically for any significant length of time. In a theater production, it's not even like that. Because there's so many unpredictable varying elements that each performance is new. Until you get to a permanent Broadway cast that's playing the same music and performing the same lines hundreds of times. Then it's like this guy. Clock in, turn off your brain, clock out. Scares the shit out of me. If I'm not not being me, then what am I doing?? But that's me. That's my insecurity.
it's because he tells the same jokes. i love the guy but the material is always the same. this video has some new jokes and you'll notice that that's the few times the crowd engages.
It was so satisfying to see the smashing of the trimmed samples on the table and then the collection of the samples. 10/10 excellent explanation, nice crowd engagement, and cool video with great camera work.
Sour!!! love it. I'm a huge fan of sour, though it's a special art to find the balance of sour that is powerful, but not painful on the teeth. Zours! was the best at this, but it no longer exists. Either way, glad to see sour come into the mix!
When I was a young child, my Grandmother, mother and Aunts would all gather in our kitchen and make batches of hard candy just like this! The actually buttered the table to keep from sticking and as it cooled they'd grab the super hot candy up, snip it and throw the pieces into powdered sugar to cool the rest of the way! I miss those days and those ladies! Great wholesome upbringing!
As a historic interpreter for an Agricultural Museum I feel the pain of this guy occasionally making funny jokes and everyone else just kind of staring silently, it always makes you wonder if it's worth trying to add a little Flair to the exhibit
Dude, I see so many videos of this type on UA-cam of various different people doing what the love for a living, and it always makes me want to try it out for myself
I'd be the one going like "no no, I'm serious if you need help just cleaning dish I'd be glad to help" because I appreciate what you do and would love to learn a little more.
You use this candy base for candy canes & hard candies. Well it can be considered, this is also the base from which sugar wax, is produced. Yes!! For body hair removal! It's sugar, water & a splash of lemon juice, boiled down to a soft ball stage. Then spread upon a flat surface, to cool it, before jarring it up.
The man is like a Pixar movie with the humor. It can be repetitive and there are jokes for the kids and adult jokes that fly right over the heads of the kids.
You can go to your kitchen and grab a spatula, slam it on the counter and bam, you got yourself the ASMR. You probably can't do his narration on your own.
I get the like of ASMR, but I see so many comments now with explanation videos where the narration is important and always see a, "ugh I wish this was ASMR". What's everyone's fascination with ASMR? literally go outside sometime in the woods and experience ASMR. Trust me, you'll get your fill.
I’ll give him one thing - he has incredible perseverance in joke telling. As a dad, I was taking notes.
he's been saying the same lines for 30 years lol even the kids were rolling their eyes
@@tHeXeKuterI’m sure the kids in there with their faces glued to phones. They weren’t even paying attention.

High Fives!
This man is firing on 6 cylinders with the jokes. What a rough crowd.

I usually tend to laugh if the jokes are actually funny...
The quickness of the hand was incredible. It's almost like your main job was secondary but telling jokes was the main.
Man, tough crowd. Dude was brilliant!
Was he?
Crowds are always trash in these videos tbh. Bro is just too rare for normal humans
I enjoyed his dry humor very entertaining
@@juliusseizure5705Yes he was.
@@TehUltimateSnake You right you right
I think she thoroughly enjoys slamming the candy Cain samples on the table 😂
That kid watching intently is so relatable.
I’m 28… and that kid is STILL me. I LOVE watching people explain their jobs whilst they do them.
This is all terribly satisfying to watch.
Right? Seeing the long string get busted quickly into the bite sized pieces was extremely satisfying.

That crowd didn’t deserve you, you gem of a candy man. Clap clap clap 👏

My grandmother showed me how to make pulled taffy.
Our man is an old pro. I love watching people who are good at their jobs working away.
As a historic interpreter for an Agricultural Museum I feel the pain of this guy occasionally making funny jokes and everyone else just kind of staring silently, it always makes you wonder if it's worth trying to add a little Flair to the exhibit
Always worth it, even if you only make one person smile
The best videos are always watching someone do something they truely love doing
Man these colors beautiful, very satisfying process to watch. Hard work meets art with a sweet finished product. Well done!
I can’t imagine how good warm fresh candy must be
I know right 🤤
I love watching this guy make candy. He really loves what he is doing. It would be so cool to watch in person and then purchase some of the candy.
Dude had some fire dad jokes
Dude, I see so many videos of this type on UA-cam of various different people doing what the love for a living, and it always makes me want to try it out for myself

Scooping that delicious pillow candy into the bucket was the most enjoyable part of this video🥰
Beautiful colors!!
The amount of dad jokes was superb

Beautiful hand work, so nice to see! 🙌🏼💥
I've watched a lot of candy making videos but nobody has ever explained the process which I'm glad he did
These videos are all identical, but I cannit stop watching them!!! 🤜🤛🙏
Awesome experience, wish I could see & experience in person 😊
This video alone has made me want to go to America
I’m not gonna lie, I thought he was making rosin. Looks delicious either way.

Why is it so satisfying when he folds up the hot candy with the spatula?
I laughed at all your jokes out loud
bro. the making of the samples is brilliant. cooling it down to make it brittle.
Looks like a fun job
I love this!!!! He’s such a great story teller and great at his job ❤❤❤

I love the dad jokes " let it go" tough crowd man! I dig It !
La Crushaaa 💙🩵
All hand made, impressive!
my favorite candy maker. I just wish we could have these all as ASMRs, no narration.
Some people like the narration.
You can go to your kitchen and grab a spatula, slam it on the counter and bam, you got yourself the ASMR. You probably can't do his narration on your own.
Want me to breathe into the mic and over enunciate every word so it can be ASMR for you ?

She is an absolute hero to listen to those same jokes 10 times a day all winter.
I love the ribbon candy. What t 31 flavors get all of them here.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thumbnail made me think I was about to hit a huggggge dab
Totally satisfying to watch . I’m up north Canada so will never try one and I really want one like right now
I wish I could be there!! Amazing!
This guy is awesome!

That was really cool had never seen hard candy made
That crusher thing has gotta be the most satisfying thing I've seen in my life!
I'll bet C&H sugar loves these videos, saw their bag on the shelf.
Bro this looks delicious. Kudos to the candy maker for the beautiful canes and also for his barrage of jokes.
So cool! Love it :)
Its the blob! RUN!
i dont know whats cooler watching the process or working with your dad
Very satisfying
i am so sad i live so far away, also the breaking of the candy into bite size pieces is so satisfying.
I close my eyes and I hear Jim Henson. What a great guy!
Idk what it was but I wish there was an ASMR of the end where the candy maker was pulling those droplets into a bucket, it was so good. :[!
Mükəmməl
Would the color be on the gloves and transfer over? After the first mix of colors
So amazing
These were some top quality dad jokes

Are these how you make the candy canes you get at the store during the holidays or these are special type of candy canes
I did the same thing at Butterfields. Much different techniques.
At first glance, it looked like a big batch of cannabliss concentrate! 😍😉
I could not last for this whole thing in person Id be dying of laughter and cheering, oohing, and ahhing
The candy man can!
Are those cotton work gloves?
Say what u will the man is a showman
