That's awesome, me and my brother and even one friend of ours have built explorers back in the day my brothers was a 92 4dr 4x4 cut n turned beams w/heimed rad arms, eibach springs up front with fox res shocks and limit straps and rear deavers w/2.5 kings, ran flawlessly. mine is a 91 4dr 4x4, extended 5inch per side w/heimed rad arms, 2.5x14in king c/o and 2.5 king bumps and strapped, rear has deavers with 2.5x16in king triple by pass shocks, full fiber glass with the f150 conversion on it, stock 4.0 which blew up a while ago w/ an overdrive GM trans thanks to advanced adapters w/ a b&m ratchet shifter, and our friend had a 92 2wd 2dr that he done up also. Back before they got kinda popular , although this dude took it a bit further with the linked rear end , just awesome man.

Mark mcneill explore was mine I put the V8 in that its a 302 small block fits perfect in the explorer. The rear suspension that they do is what screw that thing, less Suspension in the back then the front I think you know where that goes, I wanna do another one with your rear suspension. That thing is dope! I love the 5 Seats so cool!
I got a $600 93 ford explorer and this vid is inspiring. I doubt i can get it as sick as the exploder but I can't wait for my project to be complete someday

Should have swapped to a 5.0 instead of a newer 4.0 Other than that, great build.
Or could of just put a comp cam and pushrods in the ohv it came with
@@lowslo9287 Nah, V8 all the way. Unfortunately those V6's aren't that great. They come into the shop all the time for timing chain problems.
@@sham_wow_guy must be sohc 4.0s don't know any ohv 4.0 with timing chain problems and I'm fixing to cam mine xD
What was the upgrade when you switched to the 4.0 sohc???? Thats about the shittiest motor for that year.. well for any year i guess.. the ohv motor is waaay better.. just wait till you have chatter in it where you slosh that oil around so much i guess itll compensate for it but those timing chains are fuggn rediculous.. godamn 5 of them bitches or sonething.. gotta pull the motor in order to get to the rear ones.. now i got one and they do make a little power and will surprise people but those chains just kill me. And the fact the damn top end of the motor is plastic with plastic thermostat housing.. just ignorant.. but yea, i put new hydraulic tensioners in mine, accell coilpack, bigger throttle body (70 mill) t-body spacer, cold air, got the mod box housing and bolted a supercharger to the top with studs n shit.. tuned it myself.. had it up to 169 in a 08 ranger ext cab level2 on ss35’s with offset steel wheels, 4” lift with new tortion key and blocks but put on dual adjustable big country’s front and back.. she goes.. dunno whp but the 35’s eat up axels.. ltd slip rear with 373 gears.. drilled n slutted rotors and rear disc conversion..
I was fortunate to have zero issue’s in 2 years of abuse. I replaced the thermostat housing when I got the motor and changed oil frequently. Ran 15w-40 and had good luck with it. But I know they are know for issue’s for sure
I shouldn’t have watched this video I literally cannot stop thinking about Noah’s sexy bear hands and all the things he could do with them just the thought that he used those paws to operate power tools and yeet his truck has me all hot and bothered
