- We went down to San Diego to hang out with our friend Mason Taylor. He gave us a walk around of his bitchin "street legal" GMC prerunner and also showed us his favorite spot to get some food.

Trucks is a mechanical masterpiece
But him as a father really shows he has his priorities in check. The happiness of his daughter shows this man really is one hell of a cool guy. Keep flying, keep sailing those dunes of gold brother.
Really nice truck, i love the subtle factory looking touches it has going on. He should color match the Line X bed sides, just like they did on the bumper/ roll pan. It would look much better and still serve its purpose.
I think the Line-X looks good. I had it done on my fenders too, but I have the Line-X following the wheel well all the way around, and painted over with the factory paint color. Gets the job done but looks more subtle.
The tuner did such a fantastic job on the start up. Factory cold start settings have something like 17% fuel addage. That cold start was just perfect. The fact hes running a pretty aggressive cam means it doesnt make a whole lotta vacuum so for it to start that smooth tells me that tuner looks and adjusts EVERY single table and dials mapping in the way youre supposed to. Id bet my bottom dollar HP tuners is where he learned his procedures, theyre the best in the biz. Id really like to know the cam specs if anyone is privy to that information. That thing just sounds so stout and right. I wanna dip my BAWLS IN IT!!!!!!!!!

I caught this video and thought I’d like to start building something since I’m getting rid of my 2011 Raptor, then I start looking up the parts and definitely can’t afford to play with these dudes!

@@stevengomez8304 It definitely wasn’t a waste, it’s a badass truck but it’s very limited when compared to these monsters. I had all four wheels off and it jumped great, you just have to go slower than prerunners and be smart about how you place the truck.
I would say color match the linex on the sides. Bad ass truck. That truck is a lot like mine. I have a 07 Sierra crew cab, with mazzulla LT front. Mazzulla Hanger’s and shackles and u182 deavers. Just bought some C85s and those u182s will be up for sale. I can’t keep a rack in mine though. I blow it out a average of 2 times a year. Bought a lifetime warranty so 30 mins and it’s changed out

Nick Gudino I am, the C85s are on back order. I already paid for them and I talked to deaver and they said they are hopefully going to have them in stock by the beginning of March. Once I get them I’ll take the u182s off and they will officially be for sale. I live in SoCal

Great truck! Regarding that issue about stalling at stop lights because of the brake booster, I had a very similar issue and had it re-tuned. The issue went away but it took someone else to retune it. Not sure if this helps (experience from G8GT with almost 500 tire)

Sick truck, You could always just do a color matched protective film. You won’t be able to tell it had it unless your up close.

Will Mazulla ever bring back their long travel kit? Dirt kings looks cool and might be my only options but the Mazulla just looks more tough.
It would be great if you could include cost in the review. For instance I'm looking at geting an rpg rst 18 and bolt kit. What could I get built by a smaller shop for the same cost?
Got a Dirt king race kit for 9,300 front only 3.0 bypasses 2.5 coil overs,upper and lower arms,spindles,tie rods and all hardware. My rear set up is still in the air might go with a 4link set up runs around 9,500. Shop time and labor may vary.
Now it’s caged it looks even more rad!
Hello sir, I have a 4.8 silverado with a stock transmission & I was wondering about your TH400. A video on what options we’re put on that build would be great. It sounds like you paired it with a couple of engines but more importantly that 4.8 🤤. I know there are stages but my questions really fall on shifter set up & anything you wanna share that would help, help!
How are the front tires sticking out on prerunners to make them look wider? Is it spacers, the offset in the rim or is it the suspension set up?
Bigger and taller spindles and upper and lower arms give the wide look.

If you trim the front up a little to contour the flare it would look better. I didnt like it....sticks out too much. Or....color match the spray to paint so it blends in better.

Beautiful trucks, Hey guys I'm in a predicament. I have a 07 classic Silverado with 5.3 and I just did long tube headers with cat delete y pipe. The smell so bad so thinking of going to shorty headers and put stock y pipe with cats back on it. Anyone have any ideas on a y pipe I could run with long tubes that won't drain the bank. They are speed engineering headers with 3" collector.
Is it dumped under the truck? Mine was and I popped it out of the side and it helped a lot
@@jss6060 It is actually dual out the rear, Even sitting there at a light it's like holy crap that is strong. It's turned so we have it running clean it's not rich in mixture.
Ride Red maybe try a high flow cat. It will still give you the performance you’re after but will help burn everything off that’s making it out the back
