I'm impressed with all this! The XJ build, and the owner's craft skills and driving capability. ....and I think 2-door XJ's are uniquely cool (especially with the manual transmission).
So sick! Yo those kings you got are just a bypass shock from king right? I know they make a bolt on oem shock for xjs just didn’t know if you had those. Really looking to get some for my Jeep!
thats not the axle shaft flange flexing. Its actually just the tire wobbling. Go watch a slowmo video of a TT in whoops and you will see the same thing happening.
@@Hucker2.1 Got it, definitely seen plenty of tire wobble, but for some reason it just looked like the wheel was wobbling also, just an illusion because of the black wheel or angle or something. Any chance you'd be willing to share your valve stacks? Actually the exact stack doesn't matter since I have different shocks, and springs, etc. But I'm also trying to valve a shorter wheelbase vehicle for higher-speed, so even just the overall ratio of compression vs rebound stack for F&R would be helpful. Just trying to see which direction to go with valving to help keep the back down and the front up. I have ideas, but it could save a lot of trial and error time to hear from someone who has already achieved a good valve tune. Thanks.
You're a DIY legend amongst the XJ community
thank you!
Suspension looks buttery smooth! Nice work and driving!
2 door xj's bring me back to my big bro's '85. Man did we have some fun in that ol thing

Can you please make a video on the whole jeep suspension system I have been looking for one linked this but I don’t know what to put under it
Video is getting shot in the next couple days and should be coming out soon.

ya these are 12"x2.5" tripple bypasses up front and 14" bypasses with coilovers out back
Another sweet video! That was your XJ in that badass video TerraCrew just put out, right?
Yes it was good catch!
@@Hucker2.1 You and your jeep seemed to be the stars of that video.
@@tptrsn haha just wait for the full video to drop ;)
@@Hucker2.1 I am anxiously waiting!! :)
what is your tire size and ratio?
Where did you buy the manual lever for the transmission?
@@Free-xb6rs it's a radesigns shifter
You guys going to 425 this year??
You mean the race this weekend? No we aren't going.
💯

The axle shaft/flange flex at ua-cam.com/video/8uBR82Kt1Kg/v-deo.htmlsi=fNCKNrrrBWH0eJXB&t=119 is kinda crazy.
