- Hello! I'm not dead. Sorry for such the delay in uploads, youtube has had me feeling weird lately. Just with the fandom getting smaller and the community I used to love changing, it's been hard to process. That's what geared me to make this song in the first place, along with using my own experiences and feelings for a little extra piece. Think of it as a vent piece that will be two parts. (as stated at the end of the video)
This part mainly focuses around the idea of staying quiet and out of the way so that someone is not rejected or shunned, to put on a happy face and ignore that you're not doing okay in order to please everyone else. To become the person everyone wants you to be, even though what you want is the exact opposite. Hence why it's called "Silence"
The second part will be called "Louder" and focuses on the other side of the coin, wanting to speak out and be heard inside of hiding in the background.
The pieces compliment each other and I hope you will listen to both when they come out. Both songs are very personal to me.

This song is telling me to never be ashamed of you are. And using Fluttershy completes it. She was always quiet, shy, timid but was never ashamed of expressing herself. She was strong❤️

You know what the sad part is....the song's Ashley H has planned is true. The MLP fandom is changing, and their is some people who are changing in ways that are toxic, that the fandom took them down. Despite this....their are some thing's that the fandom gave. I've made some of the best Fan Fic's stories that were super good, and even though the Fandon is changing....people are still writing, and still going....I don't think G4 will ever leave....there are some thing's we'll continue to create from it....but it will be something we'll cherish forever, like the Original Godzilla series, Transformer's Prime, Star War's the Clone Wars Series, Teen Titans, MLP G4, and many....many more. Amazing song Ashley.....good to see any of your vids again, and keep up the good work
There are still plenty of gen4 fans out there this isnt the end, im sure this beautiful talented community wont let gen4 dissapear... Gen5 looks nice but gen4 is still in my mind heart and soul. Beautiful singing queen dorito i feel the emotion in your voice 💖

The Brony fandom existed long before Gen4. I'm certain it will last long after that.
After listening to this song I felt many emotions because Fluttershy is my favorite pony and this song is amazing. I want to say keep up the good work and keep being creative. Also this song gives off Evanescence vibes and I want to say that no matter what. I’ll be a fan of Gen 4 till the day I die.
Oh my God. This song helped me through a breakdown and I lost the name. I've desperately been searching for it for almost three months today and I just happened to stumble on it. I'm so happy right now.
Being afraid of seeing people change and leave...making everything possible to keep them, even if it means making things you do not want...I can only imagine how hard it is...
But, just like Fluttershy, don't be ashamed of expressing who YOU are, because this channel is YOURS ! :)

You know, I feel this song a lot. My better friends understand that because of my autism I can say offensively things without meaning what I meant, but I’ve had friends that made me feel like I had to walk on eggshells.
Which in of itself isn’t a bad thing, I want to not say offensive things, but I do still have a fear of saying something wrong which, more often than not, especially in irl, to be more quiet >.>
I'm always amazed by how much raw emotion you can carry with just your voice and a piano! Absolutely fantastic!

This was amazing, you did so great on this. I read the description, and I get what you mean. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like that. I’m a huuuuge G4 fan, and I’ve been really scared lately that now that g4 ended, the fandom’s gonna fall apart. Right now, people say “Don’t worry, I’ll always be a G4 fan.” But even after they say that, some of those people (Ponytubers, etc.) left the fandom anyway. I can tell the fandom’s crumbling slowly, and I’m afraid soon there won’t be a huge brony community anymore like there used to be ): I’m so glad I’m not the only one that feels this way. Even with everything changing and people leaving, I really hope you never leave. 😊💞

How in the world did you get that perfect Fluttershy half breaking voice when she is about to cry? Right when you say " Please don't leave me," It gives chills across the entire body. That took some stellar skills to capture that subtle, vital detail

Beautiful. Read the description and can relate. Felt it in Australia with friendships drifting away just because life happens plus lockdown after lockdown doesn't help.
