The Fuji X100V is a real treat for those who love to personalize their gear. With a ton of customizable options, you can make this camera truly your own and let your personality shine through. And hey, if you want to know more check out my blog post! www.vaskoobscura.com/blog/5-accessories-for-the-fuji-x100v
Hi Mate, where can i buy the stabonring? And can you recommend a nice bigger filter in the size which you show in 2:35? That looks absolutely stunning!
Thanks man appreciate the comment. Having a good quality camera you can take around with you every day is a game changer. I know when I grab my Canon's it's work but when I grab the Fuji it's fun. :)
I love half leather cases! One thing to note though is the x100v half leather cases do not fit on the x100vi. The tripod mount and bottom speaker are located in different areas on the bottom… I made that mistake and now am waiting for the small rig one to come out
Thanks for the comment. I'm still waiting on the X100VI to come in but I'll update the video description to let people know what the old case does not fir on the new camera.
I'm coming here after looking for X100VI accessories (it's backordered as expected, might as well do some research, right?) and I'm glad this video was recommended - your views on accessories are very practical and insightful. I'm coming from a full-body, heavy-ass DSLR and I thought a smaller form, single-lens camera would get me back into my hobby. The only accessories I've really used for my DSLR were a remote trigger, filters, and tripods (if you consider those accessories lol). Seeing different kinds and _knowing_ how to use them by watching your review lets me better discern what things are needed/not needed and why. thanks!
Thanks for the comment. Really appreciated. Glad you liked the video. Welcome to the channel. My X100VI just arrived a few days ago. Took three months but happy it's finally in my hands hopefully yours get to you soon too. I have several tips, tricks and menu settings videos planned for the X100VI so come back and check out the channel when your camera comes in. Cheers.
I find that the Fuji lens cap falls off a lot easier when I have the adapter and filter on. I would recommend buying a lens cap that slips into your filter if you want a secure lens cap with your filter.
yes. i got a few from JJC and it fits very good. There's nothing like on your camera. I need to grab it very hard to unscrew it. I have simple plastic buttons on my xpro3 and deluxe version. Imho this buttons are very useful. Without it i can't find release button with my finger when i'm on the street and shooting from the hip. You need to find better buttons with that little rubber on the thread. @@vaskoobscura_

Great video! You got me looking at fixed lens cameras for everyday carry since we talked about this camera 😊

I read online that the original Fuji lens hood does not screw on tightly enough and is a little loose. Is that true?
Yes my lens hood falls off all the time I don’t even use it anymore. You’re picking up a plastic lens cap on eBay for a few bucks.
The shutter button should have a rubber ring to Keep it in place. Mine never fell off
I've been told that. I've bought a new shutter button and it did come with the ring and it does stay on.
does the fuji lenscap work only with the adapter and filter on?

@@vaskoobscura_ I recently got a haoge filter adapter. And with the tiffen filter on, it does fit well
Your shutter release button should have came with a tiny gasket which stops it from falling off easily.
Really? I'll have to go check the packaging. Where does the gasket go over the screw threads I assume?

I have the standard Fuji Fuji leather case for the x100v.
