Have 3 pairs of the t2's. I work as a telecom technician, so alot of attics, pole climbing, crawl spaces, and alot of times working with knees down. These are the best pants and the only pants I will use for work. The price is well worth the quality. Have owned them for nearly a year working 6 days a week and not a single hole and still fit like new. If you are on the fence about these pants, just go for it, you will not regret it.
Thank you for sharing Cole.👊 How about shirts?
@@OneToolAWeekGuy Haven't tried their shirts, my company requires us to wear the company provided shirts. Would like to hear from someone who has tried them though!
Im a field tech as well and this just closed the deal, ordering two now!
@@chrisd5758 nice, let me know what you think of them! Hope you like them as much as I've enjoyed mine.
@@coleedwards7874 I love these pants man, I waited to give you a honest review with having used them in the field. The range of motion with these pants is amazing with the T1 I was in a crawl space and it felt like I had basketball shorts on, thats a good thing. A cold front also came through so I was able to test the T2s and they are awesome as well of course a little thicker but still great flexibility and they look great. The pockets are perfectly thought out as I use them all and am able to fit exactly what I need and then some. Im about to order another set so i'll have a black and sand set of T1 and T2.
"...what they consist about being..." well put! :)
I’m a plumber from Utah! Hope your channel blows up. Love your content.
I was just looking at their hoodies! How would you compare these to the CAT H2O defenders or blaklader?
Picked me up a pair happy to say they have to back pockets now
I’m 5’7” and I like getting the 28 in length that way my pants are above my wait and not rolling up at the bottom and are right above my ankles for the perfect fit. I hate how some companies don’t go smaller than 28 in length
Are they true to size? I’m 33 and I don’t know buying the 32 or 34
Is the waist stretchy?
I roll with 511, or propper usually. These look like they are woth trying though. I like the pocket layout
Thanks for the review
How these compare to duluth fire hose pants?
Mine don't have the light reflector
Interesting. Not sure if they took it off?
You can get the T1's without the reflector
I prefer the fit of the originals but they tore. They sent me the new pair and they do seem more durable.
The phone pocket is smaller and the size runs slightly smaller on the new ones
Now they have two back pockets but no way to close them! I hate open pockets where your wallet can fall out.
Are they waterproof?
They help out but not with lots of water. Still got them wet.
Would these be good for landscaping? Thinking of getting a couple pairs
Yes are you located up north or south. They make a t1 for warm temp. and t3 for colder weather. T2 is middle
@@OneToolAWeekGuy live in Massachusetts, just ordered the T2, will order more if I like them Thanks for the review!
Alguien sabe si tienes q comprar dos tallas más grande por ejemplo si uno es 34. Seria 38?
How is it compares to kuhl pants?
I have both Kuhl and Truewerk. I think the Truewerk gets the edge. The pockets are much better and Truewerk has the double snap and Kuhl went with the single snap. I'm always having a issue with Kuhls snaps. I thought Kuhl was the best until I tried Truewerk pants. Also, the crouch is a bit tight in the Kuhl pants. As far as the material, they're about the same. I imagine it would be difficult to rip either one of them.
How do they hold against oil base stains? I am truck driver looking for solution to replacing pants every 6 month to a year due to tear around groins area.
Oil leaves marks until you leave them soaking in some baking soda for a day in the sink. Then the oil comes right out. Haven’t torn them yet after two seasons in construction. Comparing to Levi’s, they only last me 3-4 months getting in and out of a dump truck.
You know I'm a bigger guy and after about a year or so my work pants start to separate just under the Frank and beans , any one have a good suggestion for pants that are tough along the seam's?
not sure but will look into it. what brand do you use for the most part?
Prana Zion Stretch pants or Blacklader
1620
I got glue on mine. Use acetones and vinegar mix to get it off
Good topic and informative presentation onetoolaweekguy. I usually wear jeans, preferably Lee or Carhartt. I also like Carhartt canvas carpenters pants.
How durable are these pants. I work as a laborer
Still kicking and i beat them up about twice a week.
Hey all. BK here from PA. ATM installer. Good luck
Thanks
how about shrinkage
Still the same but i do air dry my pants.
Mine havnt shrunk at all. I've had them for two years.
The new design of the left thigh pocket velcro flap is terrible compared to the older model. I catch it on everything while working and the velcro is sharp constantly scrapping my left hand while walking. Love the old, hate the new..
Are the new ones a slimmer fit?
How’s the fit? Are they tight on the waist? I prefer loose fit.
fit was good. Not tight. In Texas the t2 is a bit hot for summer. Switching to the T1. Do like the fitting and its not tight.
@@OneToolAWeekGuyI’m 33 waist, which one should I be buying 32 or 34? Thanks
way to use you work gloves for a pants review
😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
I have three pairs of Carhartt carpenter jeans I have six pairs of Dickies carpenter jeans
Which is looser crotch
Clearly designed by a millennial. No adult male over 50 would ever wear a pair of pants with TWO buttons for the fly. Am I right , Guys Over 50? Yeah, you know why…
No I don’t?
@@OneToolAWeekGuy ...cuz you can't get them undone fast enough when that emergent urge to pee happens as it does over 50...
