A tip for keeping your jeans from fading in the washer real fast is to wash them with Cold Water and wash them inside out! The main reason they lose color is being in the washer rubbing against other Jeans! :)
I found the wrangler outdoor pants a couple years ago and they're my favorite ever since and now have 5 or 6 pair. I like them more than my pranas to be honest. They're comparable to the 80 dollar range hikers but only a quarter of the price! Way to go wrangler!
Right! I legit have about 14 pairs of all the different ATG lines my favorite are the outdoor synthetic cargo in peat. And the synthetic utility in raven. But fuck jeans lol Wrangler!
I can't believe how expensive Pranas have become. I bought a pair 6 years ago when no one knew of the company for $35. I stopped in a boutique store in Durango, CO a month back and they were selling for $120
I like a loose fitting denim jean over the regular fit. The extra room is a little cooler and more comfortable. For a belt I prefer a fully adjustable belt over a leather belt that is not adjustable. The leather also tends to stain with sweat. Good video enjoyed the different styles. I also like cargo pants for comfort and pockets the issue is lack of durability.
I love my Wranglers, I got 3 pairs for like $75 dollars! I’ve worn them multiple times at work, working outside during the summer and fall they kept be nice and comfortable. They also hold up really good, even just day to day I wear them all the time and you wouldn’t even of guessed that I wore them to work.
I just bought some Walls Outdoors Ditchdigger pants. Havent been able to really get a feel for them yet but will let you know. I do warehouse work. I also paint freelance
Pants is one of the things everybody over looks I totally agree about trying to be the most comfortable makes a difference believe me specially being a electrician.
I have the true work pants, they now have a 2nd rear pocket. They are SO MUCH LIGHTER than duluth or carhart pantaloons. So far (only 2 months) I love them. Let's see what time does though.
My favorite everyday go to jeans are Lee regular cut five pocket jeans dark blue. I never pay full price, I often stock up when they are on sale. I have several other brands, Levis, Wrangler, Carhart but the Lees are my go to. I also like Carhart canvas carpenter pants for winter chainsaw work. Another great product choice and good video.
Nice video dude! I ended up buying Dickies everyday trousers from amazon. They are light and have a lot of pockets, very cheap. I am a handyman in a condominium, so perfect pant for me.
I recently got some of the OG carharrts and a green colored one for around $32 at Fred Meyer its a PNW west chain bought out by Kroger several years ago
I wear wrangler year around but I gotta tell you, I bought a pair of rustlers on accident one time and that was the toughest pair of jeans I’ve ever owned and only cost 11 bucks where I live. They no longer sell them around me and the wrangler stretch fit are easier on my ever growing Dunlap but rustlers are as tough as it gets
I bought a pair of rustlers when I was in high school. I still had them 8 years later. I wore them to work in a coal mine many times and they still held up.
Work I wear Carhartt, outside I wear wranglers. I have a couple pairs of Ariat jeans for going out, but for normal everyday I just wear the boot cut wranglers. My company issues us Carhartt FR carpenter pants for work, so I have to wear those along with Carhartt FR t shirts. If we are doing any work with the welder, ect we have to wear our long sleeve button shirts. I'll usually keep mine in my locker, but I'll toss it on as needed.
I'm an Ironworks/ structural welder. I have carhart wrangler Riggs but my most worn pants are some flannel lined jeans from aldis lol. Aldis is like a discount grocery store that randomly offers odd stuff. They're like 18 dollars and I get a year or 2 out of them but they're pretty warm.
Another awesome one! I got the carhartt steel cargo pants, they cost between 89 and 99$, what I love about them is that they re super durable, have Cordura lining and knee pockets to put knee inserts/pads in them, so you have knee protection without the annoying strapping. I ll look into those other options you shared, since I cannot have only 1 pair of pants lol 😂 Can't wait to start my Electrical apprenticeship. Thanks again!
The reason I’m asking is because I just bought two pairs of carhart that were different styles and one was way to big and the other fit decently. I see tons of comments about how people are getting there normal size but they are either to small or two big. And you have to factor in washing them which is awful too. I might go in person.
@@Checkmate777 @@Checkmate777 Bought them online and got lucky! Dude if you want the best work pants ever, look up "Snickers" pants (Swedish brand that is super known in Europe), the model I got is called "Snickers workwear, allround work stretch loose fit", they re 89$ but hands down the best work pants ever, they have knee pad pockets for knee pads, cordura in the wear and tear areas, and very stretchy and comfortable to wear, and look absolutely badass! Cheers
Nice video. I agree clothing is very important on the job. I always wear cargo pants. My company provides flame retardant ones that we have to wear. We get to wear other shirts if we want so I always buy the carhart force. They are by far my favorite for the hot SC summer
I like Levi 501’s. I’ve never split a pair but I tend to wear them out on the front by the pockets I think it’s from leaning over the sides of vehicles to work on them and using my legs to help load heavy stuff into the boxes of trucks and stuff
@@zevkej really? I’ve always had good luck with them I usually get 3-4 years out of a pair but I usually have to throw a couple patches on them but eventually they get to a point where they aren’t repairable and get turned into rags
I just got a new work pants for work last night at use store the they sell work clothes for good price the work pants is call 5.11 tactical pants and they have 11 pockets and if you look up for them online they go for 60 to 100$ for them online but I got them for 790 at value village in Canada Ontario
Denver Hayes makes great pants for car detailing. Water proof, and long lasting. Plus looks somewhat formal which you need if your running through the dealerships all day
Nicely done video! I encourage you to check out the "better" version of those Wrangler ATGs: 10NS857SR - they're much tougher in the stitching, pocket liners and have reinforcement in high wear spots. My favorites.
Companies should really put a waterproof membrane on the knees part of the pants because I'm always on my knees and that part gets wet and it's kind of annoying
Bro.. slim jeans flex. 15 bucks Walmart. Extremely comfortable, move no problem. I feel like loose pants get in the way much more than tighter. Gets caught on stuff. Feel less mobile.
@One Tool A Week Guy ! The back pockets gave out first as my leather wallet (a thin one at that) caused the fabric to wear through at the corners of where the wallet sits. Next, they wore through at the knees. Finally, the crotch wore through, I'm guessing from repeated fence climbing and straddling boards while building roofing for various projects. Luckily I only purchased one pair. I wasn't even wearing them that often, maybe once a week, twice at most. I'm just a farmer, and not too hard on pants as when I was doing construction/contracting. I was very disappointed with the durability, but loves their comfort while working. I have since found the Wranglers Riggs and absolutely love them and have had zero issues with them.
@Clay I have since bought the Wrangler Riggs Work Wear style pants, and don't think I'll ever go back to any other work pants, LOL. Sizing is a bit different (as with the ATG pants), but man oh man they are fantastic. I have multiple pairs and wear them fairly exclusively while working around the farm.
Thanks for the video! I currently own 2 pairs of the wranglers all Terrains pants and are my favorite! I own a few pairs of dickies but are so uncomfortable. They hurt my balls so much. They Not stretchy. March 25th carhart is so pose to be on sale, Using the app After pay. I’m going to get a few pairs of them and try them out. I’m in the sheet metal trade and need some flexible and durable pants.
I'm doing construction work for living and I love the dick carpenter jeans for work the have lots of pocket for stuff and the work pants is very good and lose for working with them but is not on sale for now and I love to wear wrangler jeans for work and then have lots of pockets and same as dick jeans for doing construction work
I wore out my duluth trading pants just as fast as my carharts. They have a good warranty, but I got tired of replacing them. The duluth flex wear out even faster.
I’ve shredded 3 different pairs of Duluth pants on flooring projects alone. I liked the carpenter slims but ripped knees every couple weeks at their prices is shameful
Ridge cut from tractor supply hold up well for 30 bucks. They’re comfy and true to size unlike carhartt. I just bought a pair of roundhouse to try out. Carhartts quality is trash now since they become a fashion brand
Carhartt's suck! Every pair I've ever owned, the crotch has blown out. always under 12months. There a capitalist's wet dream. For me, work pants have got to have a stretchy gusseted crotch. A few pairs have to have built in knee-pads. But summer I usually use a light weight hiking pant.
