Oh Good. You do have chicken's! I thought i heard some poultry singing during your videos. Enjoy the heck of your tractor. You deserve it!
Five years ago my dad decided ALL entrance gates to all of our fields here on the farm would be 14 feet wide! I think it may have been because we were always replacing gate posts where I ran in to them with implements! lol😂 I've got ALOT better with my driving skills but the big openings make a huge difference! 😊
20’ for me. That’s the widest single hang gate I can get locally.
I bet your son and daughter will love having the chickens right outside of the house. Farm kids have so much more respect for life than city kids. Great video as usual.
2:46 Seeing you backing up to trailer reminded me of my late husband, he was semi truck driver but he was always perfect predicting how far to back up to hook up to anything and it didn't matter if he was in the semi or just a pickup.
The decorations by the non-chicken tractor were the perfect touch. 😂
Well I remember being out in the field as the sun was going down and how tired I was. Learned how to work though. Good job FTR.
Thank you for another enjoyable fabulous episode of farmer Tyler ranch
Please use this positive comment to tickle the algorithm and improve your standings and monetization
I Think that Callie can help you when you want to empty the chicken pen without to much convincing 😂
Another good day on the farm have a good day.
Callie was admiring the board like "Good JOB!!" LOLOL
Hard working as always.
I have horses that we feed rounds. I attached shade cloth to the hay feeder. It keeps hay in and allows it to breath
I do so enjoy those nosy cows. 😊
Tyler, this tractor is going to be hard to give back. Nice job getting through your list.
Your decorative skills are amazing! The fall goes well with the chicken thingy! LOL!
Great Video, Thank You for filming always an extra chore in your days, we do appreciate.
I like the decoration for the chicken pen..😊
I agree! whats tractor have to do with mobile chicken pen??? I've always thought that sounded silly! "chicken Tractor"? 😂
It's a chicken pen moved by a tractor! lol
Another great Video Tyler! It doesn’t matter what your day entails, I love watching you do your thing! ❤️🍁🍂 p.s. I’m SO sure you won’t use that string for another 10 years to hold the gate closed 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣…
Beautiful sunset.
Chick's are sure growing.
Gate for hay will be so nice.
Have a great weekend.
Everyone remember the people in North Carolina.
Callie is going to be the chicken guard dog. That's so cute.
Beautiful landscape. I had forgotten about that gate. Looking forward to your next video. Have a great day.
Yeah! You did your list. well done. So much fun.
That's awesome both tractors you can use the mower on thank you for the video
I never heard those portable chicken coops called a tractor until I moved west of the Mississippi.
"Chicken tractor" and "wheat berries". Two of my many pet peeves.
nice looking panels very easy to move
GOOD MORNING TYLER 🙏
You're knocking that list out. Lists are a great thing. They can be used to keep you on track. Love that new tractor.
My three-year-old was puzzled as to why I was laughing so much at "the same reason I don't call my Avalon an F1 car or my F350 a monster truck." He very much enjoyed the chickens' pumpkin, though, and I deeply appreciated that gorgeous sunset.
Good morning FT! Much stronger fence is always good! Great to see your use if the new tractor, great vid!❤❤❤
Great video farmer Tyler ranch
Man I sure like that new tractor
Hi FTR and family thanks for your videos.
Great job completing your list for the day! Lots of great things to watch today on Farmer Tyler Ranch.
Awesome as usual. I have the same problem with tractors and gates. 😂😂
It is nice have new equipment that allows you to get more work done in less time. But one of the realities of farming is that sometimes new equipment requires new gates. Your work around worked this time. Great video!
Improvise, adapt, overcome is a real farmers trade. Well done and thanks.
It always cracks me up how nosey the cows are. If there is something going on, they will be there watching.
It's funny watch Callie around the young chickens. You can see the dilemma working away in her mind. Her varmint eating side and smell memory tell her these can be food. But her maternal instinct and protective nature, tell her these are important animals to Tyler, that need guarding. 🤔
It always feels good to get those lists whittled down.
Thanks for another great video
Note to oneself : enlarge all gates to 8’✌🏻😎
😂C clamps to the rescue AGAIN ❤❤. Sure wish I could “unload” my weight like you did with the new LS tractor. Great day getting that list accomplished !!
That was a full day.
Love those sunset shots. 😊
Good one FT. Thanks.
Yay! That was a learning process. Thanks for sharing, Good job ❤
It's very quiet in the cab!
Be Safe
I am a list maker also. Saves wasting my time jumping from one thing to another.
Lookin' Good in that new tractor........It fits you well AND was well deserved!!
Maybe you could put a piece of rubber on the bottom of the gate, that will push any hay out of the way, and you can rake it back into the enclosure, BUT, the rubber would stop the hay coming out in the first place. Does this sound good!
Not disputing you, I was thinking a large roller, half split length on spring movement, thus covering the bottom loss that needs cut off, to go over it, not as a sweep.... What do you think about that, I'd be graciously waiting for you reply on that suggestion....
Nice LS Tractor shirt to go with the actual LS Tractor. It looks like a good match. The New Holland and LS tractors and mowers are all blue and work together.
Tylerism
Sometimes you just gotta check
I think that's everything (famous last words)
Whatever we don't get done today, we'll get done tomorrow
Too long is better than too short
I'm sure this (temporary system) will not be what I will use for the next 10 years.
Just like that the weakest part became the strongest part.
It is not the most attractive piece of the yard, but it is not the worst (made me think of Calvin and Hobbes)
Good to see the LS getting some exercise! I like the new mower! All looks well on the FTR!
Thanks
Good morning to you farmer Tyler and your family 😊😊😊😊 Keep up the info.on farming and much love from Tennessee. ❤❤❤
Hi Tyler., Always busy doing something to improve it., have a good day anyway 10-7-2024❤
Great vid. I enjoy your sense of humour also.
What a gorgeous sunset!
I can't help but wonder if a crossbeam extension on that gate may go on that list...Great video today, your editing skills are very good, very smooth, everything flows nicely. I am sure that is hard to do, but you do it very well.
Congratulations on completing your "to do" list!
You always make my day. Thanx
Wonderful episode 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊😊😊😊xx
You're so good at fabricating you could fab a cab for the New Holland!
Sweet!!😊
I will laugh my butt off if you are still using the rope next year 😂
Nice to see the meat birds out on pasture, let us know if this reduces the bag feed you give them and by how much. The wire on the top of the mobile cage looks like it needs some TLC but I’m sure you know that. I’m so glad you have the LS, I’m enjoying watching you put it to work.
Good Mournin all.
yeah, nah, I would have got the porta band and cut out the brace over the top of the main gate that gives the easiest access. Drop it the brace at the shop. If you wanted to you can add a metre or two of height to the posts and then put the brace back on another day.
Thanks for the video Tyler and all the best for your family. 😊
Just saw you had a F350. Lord I was so proud of you and you GMC I’ve even said to ppl farmer Tyler drives GMC. OH WELL we all have to change, if 350mis better and helps you work better go for it. Don’t get mad
HI Tyler from Indiana
Hi Tyler do you ever worry about your cows in the field at night,I guess that is a question you probably get asked over and over!,but I find your videos so full of information. I was driving through farm country this past week, and I found my self looking at pastures and counting their herds when I could I had mention before that in Toronto we have a big winter fair and it is called The Royal Winter Fair,it is all to do with live stock,so I will be p patting lots of cows, take care to you and your family, From Toronto Canada
I like that cab tractor.
Just so you know "Any Farmer Tyler?" and "There's a Farmer Tyler" Have become a common phrases in our house. My husband and I know we are not allowed to watch FTR videos without the other.
Well it matches.
That LS tractor is awesome
13:36 😂🙌 love it
15:12 😂😂 omg I love it
Good job
If it was up to Callie, you wouldn't have any chicken.
Hey FTR you should check out how Just a Few Acres has his chicken tractors setup I've seen his has a full half open top door.
You could fit a rubber flap to bottom
For your gate... couldn't you get one of those common gate latches and just have it catch onto the gate "mesh" close to the top where it's solid.
Electrocuting the smut grass would permanently destroy its roots, which may never grow back. Could you check if this is a possibility?
Fishing net would reach easy peasy
Next time you change oil on a tractor save the oil and use it on your trailer deck, it's looking dry
Right on with that chicken tractor. It's not a tractor! 😂
Thistles,Thistles and more Thistles. Is there time to whipper snip the bottom of the fences?
Thx
Nice job, maybe I need a new mower some day.
It's called a chicken tractor because it holds chickens and smart people will move it with a tractor. What the heck were you thinking? lol
😊
💖💖💖💖💖
Old Faithful comes to the rescue..... 🤔
It seems if the LS is a fantastic tractor
??????????? Say again !
knowing that you want to end up the closest to your final position for the chicken cage, wouldn't it help to start at the farthest distance away from the entrance in the beginning? Just saying. I enjoyed this video more than others, so it is all good.
I hope you're able to get rid of your rat problem before that mobile chicken coop gets over near the pigs! Otherwise you might find yourself a few chickens lighter, and not because of an open freezer door 😮
When are you going to get some more oilfield pipe and rebuild that fence
I don't know anything about raising chickens, but don't the little chicks need water too?
✨🏆✨
