Ouch! I could see that you’re limping. I bet that caused a bruise. Oh man! Thanks for taking us along. It’s okay to station the camera somewhere so you can just concentrate on what you’re doing. Hope you’re okay. I didn’t see it at first but got a quick glimpse of it in the replay. Other than the kick I really enjoyed getting to watch you sort through the calves. I’m sure it was an exhausting day. Thanks so much for bring us along.
19 is huge!! I gasped out loud when I saw it from the side and how it filled the chute😂 17! He made up for all your hard work!!😂😳👏👏🙌 and then the weights just kept going after that!! Several Big calves! So awesome!! Beautiful calves all of em! 🥳❤🤎💛 This was an awesome episode!! 32+ minutes🎉🥳😂 Thank you!! I can’t believe you got kicked like that and just kept going. Shows how tough all you ranchers and farmers are❤🤎
Between Farmer Tyler and The Clever Cowgirl my days are filled with adventures, heart pounding and holding my breath as I pray for their safety. I am so happy to know that they both let their spouses know what they are up to.
I just love when the cows stop and check out the camera, they all seem to know where that camera is lol too funny! Love the way you talk to your fur kids.
Ouch. I'll bet that leg is bruised big time. Hope it heals quickly. The bottle calves are so cute. Rivet is really a big hunk and looks mean. But so does little boy and he's so gentle. Thanks for sharing this day. Have a great day.
My what colourful calves you have!!! I love it! Rivet’s calves look fantastic. Is his colour gene dominant? It sure looks like it. When you mentioned you average calf weaning weight, I immediately paused the video and did my own math to take out not just the bottle calves but also the at 320lbs. That gives an average of about 614lbs. I would also be interested if you compared the weaning weights of first time moms vs the rest. And Rivet’s calves vs others. It is a fascinating topic to me. It is a nice looking crop of calves. I would love to see a drone shot of them all with their varied colours.
Take care of that bruise Tyler. Bet that left a mark. Your bulls are so awesome, they were the best mannered of the group. Outstanding calf group this year. You definitely have some standouts both in heifers and steers.
Nice calf crop! It sure seems that Rivet is proving his worth. You have several really nice looking heifers to consider for replacements. You are going to have one hell of a bruise!
First comment hopefully. You aspire to take care of your farm and family. I have the same passion for my own farm and family. Thank you for your inspirational videos❤
Such a colorful herd now!! Adding the non-angus DNA made your herd lovely! Which made me wonder if there's an average weight difference between colors: the black group, the blond (Rivet) group, the red group. Also, if there's a difference between calves made by Rivet and the black bull (sorry, can't remember the name right now). Stats are really interesting so if you can delve into your data, it'd be interesting to hear what you can see. May be too late now but arnica can help bruising if you start it right away.
Now you can see the impact Rivet and Little Boy had on the calves. Especially Rivet. You can see his color show up in many of those calves. Compare this year to last year.
Calf day keeps you very busy, always a pleasure to watch how you accomplish that, great job! Dont forget to look at your leg from the kick! Tx for taking us along FT!!!❤❤❤
Another great video. Giving me ideas for when we put a small herd together on our 80 acre operation. Just a dream for our old family land here in Mt Calm, Texas. I appreciate you taking us along.👮🏻♂️👍Chip
Calves want to be movie stars! The first two going into the weighing section, light colored calves, (at about 19:45) looked right at the camera. Too much fun. I really enjoyed this video, watching you interact with the stock. You are so good with them. Thanks for sharing your best life FT!
What an exciting episode of FTR today! Sorry you got whapped by the rebellious calf (there is one in every crowd). Your herd of calves are beautiful. I caught a glimpse of Callie happily playing king of the hill when she was on top of the hay bales. Your farm is full of contented critters. Thanks for allowing us to peek in on your every day doings as a farmer.
Good morning. You did really good with your calves. Glad you got the escape artist. I love watching you use your shoot and putting it to use. It makes so much more sense for you to have it than people who don’t use theirs. You are right bottle calves are in there own category. Take care of your leg. That was a nasty kick. Thanks.
That is a very nice group of weanlings. Your research, experience and hard work have certainly paid off! Hope your leg heals quickly. I’m sure you’ll have a huge bruise and it’s gonna be sore! Tomorrow morning…yowza, maybe alternate heat and ice for awhile. Sometimes that helps a little. I feel for you. But that was a great video….thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
Those calf’s look great Tyler! And now they will only get bigger and better! The momma’s sounded more upset than the calves, but just give them a bit and they will be SO SO SO happy to not have a calf always nudging and pulling on them lol. Great video today Tyler! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️
Tyler this was one of your best episodes! Calves look fantastic. Your work ethic and gentleness with the animals is fantastic. I’m sorry you got hurt. Praying that you’re only bruised. Note: You said you wanted to keep momma number 48! Just trying to help. Awesome job and exciting video. Let us know how you’re doing ! Prayers from Indiana
I bet you will have a bruise. Glad it didn't seem to affect your walking, unless you were hiding it! Great video. You ate so fun to watch. Always interesting!
HEY!! Doss viewer here to watch and tell ya thanks for helping out Love farmers and cattle etc!! Love blessings and prayer always from an old lady who enjoys watching honest living and supporting ya all!!
I hope your leg is OK. I'm sure this wasn't the first kick you've received. Beautiful calves, they will adjust and like you said, moms need a break! That was a busy day for you. Well done!😊
Love the white face cows. Some of the calves are as big as the cows good job taking care of them. OUCH that looked like that kick really hurt. Silly pet bulls are funny. Can’t wait to see how much your problem kids are , they did ok . Thanks this was a great video. Hope you leg doesn’t get to sore. ❤️🙏🏼🐂
That Hereford cow went skipping out of the corral like "Thank goodness, I'm free from that brat!" LOL I was close, I guessed 760. Nice looking calves. I think Rivet's a keeper.
I’m sure your kick footage will be watched over and over!! And wow, he was very intentional about that kick! I’m having fun learning about cows and steers and bulls and heifers and calves. Oh… and pigs:)
OUCH!!! I hope your knee is OK, what a sneaky stinker! Looks like Rivet is turning out some nice offspring too. Great work out there all by yourself. You are really making that operation run smoothly for one guy, you make it look easy lol I am curious how long it really took to do all that.
Thanks Farmer T for sharing today. Appreciate your giving your thoughts, experience and knowledge. Be safe, healthy, strong, wise and successful. Blessings and prayers for you 🙏 and your leg, your family and all you do on your ranch. ☝🙏🙌💪
Ouch! I've always been amazed how fast they can kick to the side like that. It's always a surprise... and uncalled for! Ha ha. I hope ya don't hurt for long. Glad it wasn't a few inches up/over!
Let the bawling begin. This is one of your better, if not the best cattle shuffling videos. The size of these animals is amazing. How a calf could weigh over 700 pounds at weaning is amazing. You have some good genetics in that herd me thinks. I wonder if you keep track of calf weight based on the sire. Maybe don’t know definitively who the sire is, although Rivet’s offspring seem to be unique, and identifiable. You definitely got hammered by that calf. You seemed to be lame for a bit. Hope you are ok.
Farming is a great job but has its risks. I do wish you a speedy recovery again and wish you good luck for no more bad incidents. Thank you for the great video, once more! 😊
You’re so lucky he didn’t break your leg..The cows needed a break from the calves. There was one that looked extra skinny, but I’m sure she will pop right back up. Those calves look amazing
I have difficulty understanding why people think it's terrible to wean calves. 8 month old calves are teenagers. How would they like their teenagers latching on to mom at 13 to 15 years old even 8 to 10 year olds? Whining when stopped? Pictture it everyone.
You have an outstanding calf crop. Rivet & Little Boy looks like have improved your herd individual weights greatly. Your Operation is in the Right Direction. Are you planning to increase the amount of Heifers for this coming year?
Matt from Ranching Sodak has a good system for separating calves from adults which involves a bar that allows calves to go under but is too low for adults.
The calf crop looks fantastic and the weights confirm that. My leg is still hurting after seeing you get kicked! Another great video. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My leg is also a little painful after that kick !! 😅
Notice how the Charolais cross away seems to look so good.
I sold my black bulls year ago and only run chars.
Love the attitude. “I’m not giving up that easy.”
That's a good-looking calf crop. The whole operation just keeps getting better. Bet your Grandpa would be so proud!
19 is huge!! I gasped out loud when I saw it from the side and how it filled the chute😂
17! He made up for all your hard work!!😂😳👏👏🙌 and then the weights just kept going after that!! Several Big calves! So awesome!! Beautiful calves all of em! 🥳❤🤎💛
This was an awesome episode!! 32+ minutes🎉🥳😂 Thank you!! I can’t believe you got kicked like that and just kept going. Shows how tough all you ranchers and farmers are❤🤎
When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was Rivet that kicked you. Glad you’re ok!
Me too! Especially when he mentioned moving bulls in the intro. Good thing it wasn't, that might've resulted in a break!
9:27 next up for freezer camp 😂
Pretty much!
as entertaining as your videos are, i get more enjoyment listening to you talk to yourself!!
Oh man buddy I'm glad you didn't break your arm or leg!
Another great day on Farmer Tyler Ranch! 😊
You have to be impressed with Rivet. That bull throws some nice calves
I love when you work the cattle and my goodness man, what beautiful herd you have. You clearly know what you are doing.
Rivets calves are beefy, I love the littlest ones, and the rest I love equally.
Between Farmer Tyler and The Clever Cowgirl my days are filled with adventures, heart pounding and holding my breath as I pray for their safety. I am so happy to know that they both let their spouses know what they are up to.

Rivet is really a big hunk and looks mean. But so does little boy and he's so gentle.
Thanks for sharing this day.
Have a great day.
Love the info on the calves we’ve followed all year. You seem to have a really good herd. Congrats on a great job!
You calves are steller! Amazing what good feed will do! and good genetics!
My what colourful calves you have!!! I love it! Rivet’s calves look fantastic. Is his colour gene dominant? It sure looks like it. You did a great job in getting that calf that got out with the cows.❤
YOUR the STAR of the show and a big WOW to you for doing all that work on your own 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The calf’s are looking great 😀😀😀🥰🥰xx
Take care of that bruise Tyler. Bet that left a mark. Your bulls are so awesome, they were the best mannered of the group. Outstanding calf group this year. You definitely have some standouts both in heifers and steers.
I talk to myself when I work glad to see I am not the only one that does that. So sorry about that kick. God bless.
Nice calf crop! It sure seems that Rivet is proving his worth. You have several really nice looking heifers to consider for replacements. You are going to have one hell of a bruise!
FTR’s tougher than woodpecker lips, to take that kick and keep on working the calfs!!!!
First comment hopefully. You aspire to take care of your farm and family. I have the same passion for my own farm and family. Thank you for your inspirational videos❤

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Gorgeous calves. Your levels of fitness are remarkable! Hope that bruise heals soon. Ouch!
Now you can see the impact Rivet and Little Boy had on the calves. Especially Rivet. You can see his color show up in many of those calves. Compare this year to last year.
Great lookin' calves this year. It's a lot of work, but it pays off in the long run.
Thank you for your help. Chad Doss and family really appreciate it.
👊🏻
Nice looking bunch of calves! Especially impressed with the Charolais cross ones.
You have to be in love with the process from beginning to end. Thanks for sharing I've learned so much
Calf day keeps you very busy, always a pleasure to watch how you accomplish that, great job! Dont forget to look at your leg from the kick! Tx for taking us along FT!!!❤❤❤
Another awesome episode on FTR!! Thanks, Tyler!!
Extra good episode today! I’ve watched every video for many years. Thanks, Tyler. Take Care
Another great video. Giving me ideas for when we put a small herd together on our 80 acre operation. Just a dream for our old family land here in Mt Calm, Texas. I appreciate you taking us along.👮🏻♂️👍Chip
Hey FT, you are an excellent bovine rancher

Ouch. That was a big side kick. Hope your ok. For doing all this alone, your doing good.
Wow those are some awesome calves.I always wonder what happened to the bottle feed babies.
Good morning. You did really good with your calves. Glad you got the escape artist. I love watching you use your shoot and putting it to use. That's a long day, but it's good to see it all done😊
Separating calves is difficult by yourself but you make it look easy. Great work
Great video hope your leg is ok and not too bruised
Beautiful crop of calves!
That white bull is gorgeous!
Great looking calf crop I really like the different colors
Really a nice set of calves!

Thank you for the longer video. It was wonderful! Hello from Idaho
Good job, Farmer Tyler!!❤
Good thing it wasn't a bull. Or you'd still be on the ground. LoL
Good day on the FTR...well except for getting tagged by the West bound calve!! Get some Ice on it FTR!!
Great job! It was fun getting to see the weaning weights on those calves. I bet that calf left a mark on you!
So sorry bout that kick, yes they are fast. Thanks for you channel
That Hereford cow went skipping out of the corral like "Thank goodness, I'm free from that brat!" LOL
I was close, I guessed 760. Nice looking calves. I think Rivet's a keeper.

Ooof! That's going to leave a mark! I bought an FTR t shirt! I'm so excited!
Thanks Farmer T for sharing today. Appreciate your giving your thoughts, experience and knowledge. Be safe, healthy, strong, wise and successful. Blessings and prayers for you 🙏 and your leg, your family and all you do on your ranch. ☝🙏🙌💪
Thanks for another great video. Sorry for your injury hope your bruise heals fast. Happy cows happy farmer. Great group of calves this year.
OK Tyler, your getting older, those Cat like reflexes are slowing. Cow Kicks hurt like heck, hope you have a great week.
Some really beautiful calf's there, I like the red ones 😎
Busy day. Hope your leg feels ok.
The cattle look really great! It figures one of Rivit's babies got ya! I hope your leg is ok.
Ouch! I've always been amazed how fast they can kick to the side like that. It's always a surprise... and uncalled for! Ha ha. I hope ya don't hurt for long. Glad it wasn't a few inches up/over!

Good episode, thanks. Hope you weren’t too badly hurt by the kick.
Thanks for a great video, Tyler. 🐂👍😎
Great job and thanks for sharing. God bless and have a nice, safe day!!
Farming is a great job but has its risks. I do wish you a speedy recovery again and wish you good luck for no more bad incidents. Thank you for the great video, once more! 😊
What a nice bunch of carves. Looks like Rivet really is much daddy.
I hope your leg gets feeling better. This must have hurt. I like your explanation of why you wean the calves.
I heard about your channel from Chad Doss on Doss Farms. I had to come check out your channel. I love myself a good farm video. :)
Wow! Hope your knee is ok!😁
Hope you're leg is okay! That looked like it hurt! Those calves appeared to have caught on quick to the hay! Have a great day
excellent video! thanks Tyler
I know nothing about farming or ranching but I love watching your videos. Many Blessings to you and your family!
Good afternoon Thanks for the video Tyler
Great content. Thank you Farmer Tyler......😊
One Man 🧠✔️
You’re so lucky he didn’t break your leg..The cows needed a break from the calves. There was one that looked extra skinny, but I’m sure she will pop right back up. Those calves look amazing
Great video overall great set of calves!🐕🐂🐂🐶
Take care of that leg!! Good video today
O man I hope your ok that darn calf ....All the rest looked good
I wish I had a farm like you
I have difficulty understanding why people think it's terrible to wean calves. 8 month old calves are teenagers. How would they like their teenagers latching on to mom at 13 to 15 years old even 8 to 10 year olds? Whining when stopped? Pictture it everyone.
Will you add the sire info into your stats? Based on their color, I presume. How many do you think are Rivets?
Thanks
Thanks 😊
