FTR, you sure do have your squeeze shoot operation straightened out now. Everyone can see how easy and smooth the gate system is working. A lot of work but, the effort was sure worth it.👍👍👍😎🙏🏽✌🏻🇺🇸
Freeloaders😂 Pig feeder is looking good. Really like another comment on putting FTR on your pigfeeder. You are always so gentle with your animals. Have a great day.
Tyler I’m so happy to see how the new chute makes your job easier. You work harder than any man I know. The pig feeding is great! You could sell those for sure. Maybe when your done painting the feeder you could put a few Maci and Matt painted hand prints on them. Nice memory for all. Cows look great! Have a wonderful day. See you Saturday 😊
First one here this morning! Good Morning FTR !!! Nice call on getting those tires replaced and the hog feeder is turning out quite good. Great episode, Tyler!! Thank you ❤🐂🐈⬛🐖🐕❤
That possum was really interested in that trap!😂 your herd looks great! That pig feeder is looking so good, can’t wait to see it in action. Another awesome video Tyler! I could watch your videos all day and of course “Sheepishly Me” videos. You and Sandi are so good at creating the content you put out! Thanks again 🤗
Maybe you could put a strip of metal on the end of each lid which would keep them straight without curling, just a suggestion. I really like your sense of keeping everything basic without going out and buying all new farm items. Keeps one out of debt too!
Honestly Tyler, I’m normally a true crime watcher ……. But…. When it Comes to your videos , I’m actually waiting for them, love ur channel BIG TIME 😊😊😊xx
Man, those are some good-looking calves. Is it the bull you are using now? Even your momma cows look great. Hello from Michigan. Take care -stay safe and God bless.
On the feeder, right where it angles down, how about putting an “awning” to keep the rain out? Prob a reason but just a thought😊 it’s getting there!! Looking forward to seeing what you got! See you Saturday!!
Really enjoying your videos, Tyler. Have found you are only one showing welding ..! Enjoy watching this and how you improvise and make it work! Houston TX here
I used to live in a small farming community, I had corn/bean fields in my backyard .. lots of mice coming in, right? Cheese, peanut butter aren't THE best!! I kept a Hershey's chocolate bar in my freezer.. I'd take a chunk off of the bar and shove it onto the metal piece that flips the trigger. Mouse caught EVERY Time 😂
Hey Ty, weld an eave on the feeder just below the top to keep the water from running down the side and into the compartments .. Maybe a foot wide or maybe just some flat stock and put plywood on it .. Lots of opportunities .. just say'n
Hey There Farmer Tyler, I Hope This Finds You All Well? 🙏 Tyler, if you don't soon get that pig feeder finished, it's going to be hog killing time? It's amusing to hear Cali panting on camera! 😂 I hope y'all have a good one! 👍 🇺🇸
This might sound crazy but how do cows get pinkeye? I know it's super contagious. Does anyone know? Nice to see how much you love your animals! Naming them too! 😂 I love your pig feeder. You've done a REALLY good job. Love your videos! Thank you for sharing.
I watch a show all the time I love the content I even love buddy but on a different note when you can if you have availability to dry nitrogen fill your tires with dry nitrogen your tires will last three to four times longer because then the tires will not expand and track due to the heat of you driving and you'll get a lot more wear out of those tires even your own vehicle tires it will greatly increase
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤ I really enjoy shop projects ❤ I really want to ask a question 🙏 if you get a hold of the rice farmer, and he agrees to you bailing straw this year ❤ I would say you got 5 or 6 round bails❤ so what if you bail 10 to 15 straw bails your cows and bulls seem to like it 👍 I would think you can sell your hay to other ranchers or give it to your friend that who loaned their bull to you multiple of times. ❤ I really appreciate your welding and fabrication of different jobs ❤ I still love calving season the best, also seeing Buddy and Cally❤ Sorry to hear about Bella😢 I hope you have great weather getting straw this year, smooth field ❤❤
May I suggest that you run water over the sides because I think the water will run down the angle part and on to the top of the rubber. This will indicate whether or not you need to put a metal strip across to prevent the water from going down under at the top of the rubber
Tyler, if you build the cover with an overhang, it would help to deflect the water away from the rubber flaps, if there wasn’t too much wind. Are you planning to hinge the cover? Do you agree that it would make it easier to handle?
Recommended tire change is 5 years from the date of manufacture embossed on the sidewall of the tire. Amount of miles on the tire is insignificant, unless the wear is excessive or down to the wear bars.
Regarding your title "This Again" grew up on a farm, and yup - cattle need to be fed and watered again, have teachers lawyer electricians engineers in my family and all of them say "This again"
If you mix half cornbread and half baking soda together, in a ziplock to make sure you have it mixed good. Then put it in a container they can access it and it won't get wet. Don't mix it with peanut butter.
In stead of cutting my good material I cut a cardboard or scrap wood to test. Has saved me from ruining lots of stuff. Glad you are better at it than I am.
Why don't you all paint the pig feeder and you will all leave a legacy for the next generation to look back on ❤mate we love you and brie and your daughter mate take care of yourselves and stay safe please OK lol and god bless you always
Tyler, Tyler. SOLUTION!!!! You mentioned a hard line to your COW SPRAYER. WHY NOT just have a mobile pump fixed to a motor (petrol/electric) next to the cow sprayer and pump your soap/water solution which is already mixed direct into the sprayer holding tank. EASY..................
How could you not like a guy who has a pet steer and calls his cows 'honey'? 😂
Hey Tyler, you should put your logo on your new pig feeder like it’s the brand name of the feeder. That thing will last decades.
Yeah that's a good idea 👍
Always nice to see cows jumping around. Seems like they are playing and living a good life.
FTR, you sure do have your squeeze shoot operation straightened out now. Everyone can see how easy and smooth the gate system is working. A lot of work but, the effort was sure worth it.👍👍👍😎🙏🏽✌🏻🇺🇸
I love the stall mats for lids! Whoever suggested that was right.
I belive that was Me.😊

Yay! Another day on Farmer Tyler’s ranch! I heard that OUCH!
😊 I am glad this old woman could help out on this wonderful feeder! Love your channel and your can do attitude! ❤
Been watching all the old videos so good to see how buddy became to be on your farm
You are almost there with the pig feeder. Looking good.
Just as a fun project for your daughter:
You could have her paint a little something on the pig feeder, then seal it with epoxy. Just a thought.
I do not mind how often you show the same task, it is never boring. You are so hard on yourself with regard to some things. Hello from New Zealand.
Getting ALOT of much needed rain here in VA today! Thanks for the video Tyler! Your videos always brighten my day even on a rainy cloudy day!!!
Hi. Over her in Beaufort SC, we are experiencing some rain too.
Maybe you guys in VA and SC are getting some residuals of that hurricane. We have rain in southern NY as well.@@jacquelineharper-simmons12

Have a great day.
Everything is coming together on the pig feeder have a great day.
Make your lid larger than needed to keep rain from getting in
Granny Clampett woujd sure like to get her hands on that nice carrot fed possum !!

Great video farmer Tyler ranch

Wow like the flaps on the pig feeder. Pink eye has been a pain in everyone’s butt this year. Thanks for sharing ❤️🙏🏼

Pig feeder is coming right along. So great that you can operate the Shute from either side. Another great day on Farmer Tyler Ranch!
Chute.
Moving the cows and calves via the "Callie Panting Cam." Can't wait for the completion of the pig feeder.
I heard that too 😂.
Look at that nice work surface you have near the squeezeshoot. I wonder who had the great idea to make that?
Great video!!! Great farmer.. I love watching these..so interesting and I learn a lot!!
Honestly Tyler, I’m normally a true crime watcher ……. But…. When it Comes to your videos , I’m actually waiting for them, love ur channel BIG TIME 😊😊😊xx
Good job guys and girls
Hi Tyler, cooler temps here in Central Oklahoma. I appreciate you sharing your videos. Brings back memories on our ranch in Texas
Those cows look so good.
at the 18:30 mark I so much enjoyed listening to the steam train in the background!
Man, those are some good-looking calves. Is it the bull you are using now? Even your momma cows look great. Hello from Michigan. Take care -stay safe and God bless.
ladyjay MI here also near GR
The pig feeder is really looking good. Design on the fly FTR style.

anxious to see what you are gonna be picking up with the flatbed trailer!

Good morning Tyler from Indiana, those flaps look not to bad

Try colbolt blocks for your cattle… really helped with pink eye with my cows
Nice pig feeder. Impatiently waiting for cooler weather.

Rivet really produced some dang nice calves. Not taking nothing from the mother's as well

Maybe a bead of silicone on the edges of the pig feeder so the rubber flaps get full contact with the silicone might limit the water getting in.
As a low tech inexpensive solution, that back rubber looks like an extremely effective way to help your cattle with their fly torment.
The rubber will be quiet. I remember hearing those feeder lids slam all night on our farm when I was a kid. The feeder was a good 1/2 mile away.
You might put a piece of flat iron on the top of the rubber doors where the 3 bolt with washers are. Pigs can be very destructive as you know.

Thank you for the video
Thanks 😊
You should patent this feeder! 😃
How about a bead of silicone on the the metal, just under the flap? It would discourage any water that creeps under the edge.
Good morning 👍🏻
I can’t believe we have not seen Big Blue since it arrived. I thought you’d be looking for things to do with it. 😉
If you remove those center straps on the pig feeder you could maybe use smooth round stock or small diameter pipe?🤷♂️
That pig feeder will hold a lot of food for the pigs.
May I suggest that you run water over the sides because I think the water will run down the angle part and on to the top of the rubber. This will indicate whether or not you need to put a metal strip across to prevent the water from going down under at the top of the rubber

Thanks Brother,peace…
Patt pinding!!😊
If you cut a slit longwise in a piece of pvc pipe and then slide over that metal edge you get a nice bumper.
Hey FTR when are you weaning and picking your heifers and steers for the year? Then, when are you going move the cows to the winterpasture?
Like to see a calf update!

Maybe add steel plates on top of the rubber flaps to weigh them down?
Some that are an inch smaller on all sides? -KJ
If you made the lid a lot bigger than the bin like an overhanging roof it would keep a lot of rain off the food
Pinkeye happens about 4 weeks after a high stress time.
In stead of cutting my good material I cut a cardboard or scrap wood to test. Has saved me from ruining lots of stuff. Glad you are better at it than I am.
2325 is a pretty calm cow, you should keep her heifer calves. I can hear the killdeers in the background. Do they over winter there?
How long do you usually keep a herd in a pasture?
This technique is commonly referred to "design on the fly"
Hey Tyler where did you get the cow scratcher at ? Thanks Greg
Would a metal strip across the top of the rubber lids help to keep the washers from digging in when the pigs push up on the lid?
Why don't you all paint the pig feeder and you will all leave a legacy for the next generation to look back on ❤mate we love you and brie and your daughter mate take care of yourselves and stay safe please OK lol and god bless you always
Patent for pig feeder?
Read the puffer label
I know nothing about nothing, but not have some kind of middle bar might cause the rubber lids to drop in the middle?
Do you need to put flat plates on the bottom of the legs so they won't sink into the ground?
As long as your bin doesn't leak on feeder I wouldn't worry about feeder flaps. Didn't you use to feed a wet feed?
💙 vetricyn for my dogs and myself 😂
Can u make the roof overhang enough 2 keep water out of the feed... use tin 2 keep the weight down?
👍🤗
Tyler, Tyler. SOLUTION!!!! You mentioned a hard line to your COW SPRAYER. WHY NOT just have a mobile pump fixed to a motor (petrol/electric) next to the cow sprayer and pump your soap/water solution which is already mixed direct into the sprayer holding tank. EASY..................
Lol @ high-tech schematic!
do not forget to paint your fence
