Choosing a new sofa for my small apartment

- In this video I replace my well loved sofa with a new one for my small one bedroom apartment. I explain why it is hard to say goodbye to my old sofa, all the features of my new one, show it arriving and being assembled and troubleshoot a problem with the sofa legs. I hope you enjoy it!

It looks beautiful! Everything blends so effortlessly colourwise in the space as well. My eyebrows did rise when I saw the legs as they did seem higher than the showroom and then you mentioned it. Glad they fixed it for you. My sofa is looking completely ragged next to your gorgeous new one! Hmmm...... 🙂
Oh thank you! It's funny how whenever I get something new it makes all the other things look old. I took a chance and got it when Milly was still with me. But kept blankets on it as she was making little messes especially towards the end. But i'm glad she enjoyed it and was comfortable. Maybe with kids and pets, waiting to get a new one isn't such a bad idea 😃❤️
Gorgeous new sofa. It probably seems much bigger because its got small arms. Whereas Ektorp has enormous roll arms which take up too much space. Ive had one and passed it on...😊🌺
Thank you! I was SO aware of the space those rolled arms were taking up! It's funny how our tastes change and mature. At the time, I loved homey, cozy feel of that traditional style when I bought it. 😍
I love it. Someday when we aren’t living tiny I want one just like it. It will be so comfortable.

It was nice to see the way that you farewelled your old couch by looking back at your journey with it, and wonderful that it has been able to continue to be used by some students who I'm sure are very glad to have found one in such good condition. Thanks Rena, I'm quite interested in the history of our things and how so many of the big and small moments of our lives happen while sitting on our sofa or at the dining table. The boys who ended up with the couch were so sweet and super excited to get such a nice piece. I'm not sure how long it will stay in that condition. But I"m really glad it's being appreciated 😍

The most beautiful and real house that I have seen in a long time, not like these houses full of junk that, although they are the fashion of what is popular now, are very overloaded. Real houses, not houses taken from magazines that have no life, All the decorations and especially the young people's decorations are the same, all cloned from each other, but they are houses without soul. This house is real and has magic. I love it.
That's probably the best compliment I've received on this channel ❤️❤️. Thank you so much for noticing! I have felt pressure at times to just do what everyone else is doing on UA-cam. And some of it really does look amazing. But thankfully I have a whole life's history of art pieces, sentimental items and my piano to keep me very grounded. I will continue to make changes that make my home function well. But will try keep my own unique style and hang on to that magic 🌈🪄😍

Firsly I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Milly. Our beloved pets just don't live long enough. The new sofa looks great and much better with the shorter legs. Looks nice and comfy.

Ugg, it's so disappointing when vendors get it wrong. It looks great though, you had to wait.
Thank you! I was quite lucky because the store I bought it from chased up the sofa maker and then sent someone out to install the new legs. So they provided great customer service despite the initial problem. 😍
