Hey GS, as always thank you for the AWESOME videos you put out! I have a question. Do you think, in the first round, if you was able to have rolled the aircraft over and gave the bottom of the aircraft the missle it might not have killed the pilot? Eating it was funny though im sorry!!! 😂😂

Better keep a Fox-2 with your own name on it. You see, if you owns the missile with your name on it, you'd never get hit by it. And the chances of there being two missiles with your name on it are very small indeed...
Whoever did the soundeffects for the Gripen (cinematic shots) nailed it! I live 5 minutes from an air base and they fly by my house regularly and it sounds just like the real thing!

This was a truly close matchup with excellent fights in each round. I think the highlight was your flat spin Fox 2 kill. Instead of going _"OH SHIT FLAT SPIN GOTTA RECOVER NOW,"_ you saw you had some spare altitude & just rode the spin until you got the lock & the kill. Great stuff!
Very interesting to see how quick and deadly a modern dogfight can be. It's almost like an old pistol duel were they walk back to back and the first one to turn around and put the nose/gun on target first win.

I would love to see you do some more collabs with Longshot; maybe that airfield mission with the evil SA-13? I think a two ship mission set up could get through it.

There's going to be about 400 F-35s across the European NATO nations I think. But I'm not convinced DCS is doing it justice. Real life is a different thing. Plus of course, the model is unofficial. But... let's hope we never have to find out.

I'd say that 8:26 is the DCS equivalent of a 360º no scope kill. We have seen the Archer, IRST and the 9Xs doing crazy stuff. What about an Israeli latest Python series? You should make an scenario were a IAF F-16, latest block engages a Russian or Arab Flanker with Archers!!
Constructive criticism from an old air to air guy, if you rolled faster to get in plane with him, you would get a lot more snap shots in those scissors. You are a little slow doing that, although you fly very well.
Hi there GS. I would still love to see you flying a Gripen in South African Air Force colours. The SAAF has been flying Gripens for quite a number of years now. Maybe you could do a video going up against an Angolan Su-27 Flanker.
5:35, the idea that Sweden at some point would have to defend themselves against Russia was not weird before we joined NATO. We always knew the threat came from the east and our military, especially during the cold war, reflects that.
I noticed that with these russian missiles in DCS. As long as the aircraft is slightly forward and upward from a target, there’s a big chance that the missile will hit the target.
At the beginning of the fight where you said you can’t do anything until the merge, at the 1 circle when he came across your nose, was it just not advantageous to go for guns there? Looked like you could’ve had him
Hey crazy Idea but maybe for one of these dogfight Fox 2 fights you should have a fully external view for a full round, just so we can see the crazy moves of both the planes and the missiles
Dogfights are not meant to be fair. No truer words have been spoken. I'm not seeing much control surface deflection for all the yanking & banking. Do you have a video that describes the Gripen's displays? I don't see a lot of info displayed on them. Love the action!
