A good way to test a mobo like that is to buy an old Athlon for about $10, then a cheap stick of RAM for about $7.50, then keep those on hand whenever you want to test something.
@@Maggnetta I'm aware, I mean for that specific motherboard in the video you'd want an AM4 athlon. Same applies to a Core 2 Duo on LGA 775 or an i5-2500 on the LGA 1155 socket, just buy a low end compatible processor and a compatible DIMM and all would be well
I have to sort which pins? Help is there any name when I turn on my psu it doesn't spin. But when I randomly connect all pins it is not spinning sad life tell me which pins
Just did this. Bought one Asrock itx MB, hooked everything up and got nothing. Did this, NOTHING, tried with known good psu, and also nothing. DOA. Bought a different Asrock itx MB, took it right out of the box to do this test straight away. Also nothing, another DOA MB. Never buying Asrock again 😂
@@Eliasallaw862 So, my CPU was also dead, not sure if it arrived dead or became dead. The asrock boards had zero signs of life, but on an MSI board, I at least got a CPU debug light. So, it was the MB and CPU.
I had issues with my motherboard b660i after 4 ish months of use (bought it used) and I turned on my PC and the fans spin and everything but no display or even LED light up on the motherboard. Bought a 760i and booted it up and it did the same thing, no lights. What should I do?
I suggest you go to a friend's house and start changing the parts one by one, first remove the your rams and insert his check if it will boot and slowly do it with every other part cpu gpu
Which moba is that its look like msi b450, I have a b450-a pro max and when i try to boot my pc it lights first cpu (white light) for a bit and then vga and boot same time (white light)

But you see different motherboards have different sockets LGA 1150/1151 or AM4 or AM3+

Mine is not turning on like this, but the psu does turn on with a short on green and black. Mobo dead, right?
It was working normal. I turned pc off for about 4 hours, when i tried to turn on, it simply wouldn't. 😢

Sometimes the motherboard won't show any signs of life without a cpu
Was it bc of the MB?

ITS ALIVE
Just gotta hope it actually spits a visual with cpu and ram now!
