Fabulous choice of yarn love the colours. All the gloves are beautiful you could make a mini pair for your foxy lady make them up with left over dmc thread.

So many yarns to try, so little time. I lack experience but I actually have used Drops Nord for socks and love the feel and enjoy receiving my yarn in the Wool Warehouse bags .
Those bags are so useful. They make great bags for delicates in the washing machine too . Thanks for watching 😃
Love the yellow and you've made a great start. The only thing that would worry me about the honeycomb bit being loose is if it would catch and pull. When Foxy made her appearance I wondered if you were going to make her more clothes. The mossy green you got would look great on her... Take care.
Yes I have heard other podcasts say that they have pulled the loose yarn . I will have to be careful when I wear it 😊

How fast you knit sweaters and other items are amazing. I love the mitten patterns. Also, Vixen might need the whole outfit..green coat, new purse, shoes and a hat. 😊

So I had to go over to Wool Warehouse and order some of that Drops yarn. Even with the Canadian exchange and shipping it still came out better than the prices here. I got the same Green that you did and some of the Brick Red. I've ordered from them before when I wanted yarn for a Janie Crowe afghan and I love the yarn and the quick shipping. Those fingerless gloves are amazing. I really need to learn colorwork. Your bee hive sweater looks gorgeous and will look gorgeous on you. Lucky Vixen getting a new Autumn coat. She'll be thrilled.😀

Oh, I absolutely love the sweater Tina. Golden Rod is a plant that we had in our garden when I was a child. As soon as you said that name,I thought it would be a lovely colour. Looking forward to seeing how long it takes you. Enjoy knitting it.

I've made plenty of mistakes in the past so I have a good idea of my colours . Jewel tones, blues and gold (yellow ) instead of silver grey . Shame now my hair is turning grey maybe I should go blonde 🤣

So nice to see you again. Hello from beausejour Canada. I went on a trip to Ontario and found a little yarn shop with drops in it. I was SO EXCITED!! I bought drops air and 2 balls dusty pink drops nord. I love alpaca but live in a small town. Lol! Good luck on the sweater. You should cast on green socks next and use leftovers for vixen’s jacket 😀🧶❤️
There is a shop a short distance from me with Drops but only a small amount in limited colours . I was very excited when I saw it but came away empty handed 😔 I would much rather buy from a local independent store but it's hard to get sweater quantities. Have fun with your yarn 😃

I’ve heard you mention Drops Nord many, many times here. I’ve not seen a lot of suppliers in the US, but next time I see one, I must make a note of it. Some Canadian shops ship to US, as an alternative.
I LOVE those mitts, been drooling over them for years. And I have stash (of course!!) bits. You just might give me the incentive to make my own pair. Trouble is, which design? They are alllll so beautiful!

Lovely projects. I really like the mitten patterns. A suggestion for Vixen's coat could be a granny square poncho (4 sq.) using scraps. You do beautiful work regardless of what you make. Stay safe.

I think the yellow color will look great on you. I not much of a garter stitch fan but I think the pattern is very nice. I bet you you picked the right size knitting the small. 5" ease should be more than enough. I don't like to much ease because I think it can look sloppy. Looking forward to seeing the finished sweater.☺️
Yes I agree , oversized is very comfy but not always very flattering . And takes longer to knit and costs more 🤣😊
Not to put you off, but good luck with Wool and Honey sweater. I’ve seen a lot of podcasts with people who have started it but ended up frogging because of issues with it. I’ve never tried it myself because of negative feedback but I’ll watch your progress with interest. 😊❤🇦🇺

Hi Tina, love the colour of your honeycomb sweater and I’m sure it’ll look perfect when blocked. Can’t wait to see you model it. Could the forest green Drops Nord do for Vixen’s coat and handbag? They was a great sale at Wool Warehouse! Do you favour all Drops wool or just certain ones? Yarn here in 🇨🇦 is stupid expensive. It’s probably the same where you are. I haven’t tried any Drops yet. It’s always a gamble ordering wool on line, I feel. Enjoy your week. I’m always happy when a notification pops up that you’ve posted a new video.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I'm very happy with the Drops yarn I have tried. It's hard to be sure on colour with the Wool warehouse site but with research there are other images on the internet. I know Wool warehouse has good international delivery from other podcasters . I don't know how expensive it is with any tax charges to compare with more local to you yarns 😊
I recently bought some Drops baby merino when it was on offer and I have found it lovely to knit with. I have made a baby dress, a shawl for me and a couple of baby cardigans. Drops is often on sale
I like the t shirt 👕 you ar waring, what did you make it from and what tge name of the pattern
Tina does the Drops Nord wear really well for socks? I wear mine out on the bottom of the heel underfoot. I have started to weave another strand into that part of the heel to try and help this out. I always use sock yarn with nylon in it but have trouble with some yarns. I DO actually have a bunch of socks so they don't get worn the same pair everyday!!
I've not worn out any of mine . I knit on 2.25 could you try a tighter gauge if you use a 2.5 mm . I have had holes in hand dyed yarn , I don't think that wears as well as BFL . I think that is the toughest 😊
What sweater do you have on & what size needle for socks with the Nord. Love that yarn.
I'm wearing my Tolsta tee that I finished this month . I use 2.25mm as always for Nord socks it's a 4ply/fingering weight 😁
You are getting very experimental with your projects. I borrowed the Animal Friends book from the library so I have half a project sitting but I must get it finished. What scares me is the sewing up, I’m not so talented in that area. Well done on your wool sale x
My sewing up can be a bit dodgy. I recommend making full use of the tips in the book and watching tutorial videos on UA-cam. Good luck 😃
Which sock pattern did you use at the beginning?
It's just a vanilla sock . Not one particular pattern just with a heel flap and gusset with short wedge toe going down to 32 stitches before kitchener 😁
I've made Wool & Honey, it's fine but just ran on the large side. You may want to blur the sticker on the package as it clearly shows your address. X

I'm hoping they will fit on 9" . I have used that method in the past with DPNs for the thumbs . I'm thinking about doing a progress vlog because there has been interest in the mitts but a lot of concerns over skill levels needed. As a paid for pattern it can't be a tutorial but I can talk through my approach and demystify the process 😊
