I think you are so right to stop the big Miras and other projects that you know you won’t finish. There are too many beautiful things to stitch and not enough time. Stitching should make you happy not bring you stress. Thanks for a great video!

Yes to Purple Crocus!!! They are sooo pretty, especially w yellow. Looks like there would be enough contrast in the 2 purples, to me anyway. A little pop of orange peeking above, for the center of flower??

Tina, I am delighted to see you and your curated projects. I predict you will make great progress on this batch. I recently came across a stitcher who was starting 50 new projects this year. Fifty. No idea how many already started. Sorta like biting into every piece of candy in the box. Yuck. To each her own, but for me? That's completely nuts. I love your progress on the long dog sampler! ♥♥♥
I think some people love the buzz of a new start . I love a finish and enjoying it decorating my home . I'm also frugal and think of all the money sitting in project bags . 50 x £30 ( conservative cost) = £1500 😵😵💫😁 I would rather have 1 project I loved and take it for a holiday week in Turkey all inclusive 🤣

Your Templar Prophecy is glorious: I remember when you were on the first dragon:-) I’m also enjoying the framed butterflies - good decision to stick with 9. I’m trying to finish some of my WIPs, focusing on 24 of them.

I tried to unsubscribe and subscribe again on my phone (which is the device I typically use) with no luck. The answer for me was to log in on my laptop and ring the bell. We shall see if it was just and android thing, I guess. Can't have been that I don't understand technology and left some little toggle in the wrong spot. ; )

Fabulous work. The fox one I love; Lady fox will be taking that one for herself when you have that finished you better keep an eye on her. Long dog sampler looks really beautiful and that red is perfect. I think the ladies look better on plain fabric as I have seen a lot of ladies on fabric that takes away the look but that is just personal opinion and everyone is different. I am working on S Luca Nautures Wonder . It is difficult to keep going on but I did work on 2 other cross stitch pictures and they are finished. S luca tulips and plumbs that I give away to my 2 sisters. I crochet as well just to break it up as you do get bored on the same piece of cross stitch. Looking forward to your next video.

The charts are very big but I'm getting on OK with it . Folded with a needleminder to attach it to my fabric. I highlight in coloured pencil. I'm old school, I haven't tried electronic charts 😊

Your Long Dog piece looks amazing, have not stitched anything really big yet don’t know if I would like it or not.
I think for me I really need to want the end result to stitch somethingbig . I'm definitely not a Haed stitcher . They are far too slow for my personality type ☺️
Happy NEw Year Tina! Love the Fox & Poppies. You are so inspiring: Realistic stitching. Set a goal, 7 projects. Perfect. I predict about the beginning of July, they will all be finished & you can pick another 1/2 dozen. You said the key words that I use in my stitching: How satisfying is it to stitch? If yes, it will be stitched and quick. If not so much (or very little), it will linger somewhere with others. Blessings.

Happy new year Tina, love your channel, and I never forget that you taught me to knit socks which I love doing. I also love cross stitch and since the lockdowns I have made a great effort to finish many of my stitching projects, with much satisfaction. I do however encourage you to change the negative date on your Long dog project as you will look on it in a negative way( I know it signifies triumph over illness but that is still giving energy to you having illness)) Choose a date that is positive, maybe when you finish it? Enjoy stitching your projects x
I don't think of it as negative date . It's a significant date and we were very fortunate in not having a bad time with it or losing anyone close. I get strength from coming out the other side victorious. Every life has its battles . I think it's important to grow through them , not forget them 😊
I really like how you chose what you really want to work on and that most of them were older WIP's. I so want to work on my WIP's this year. After all I began them because I love them. I did however have a New Year Start called Winter Blessing by Twin Peak Primitives. It is so simple but it touches my heart. I also picked up my Ranunculus again. I was afraid of doing the sleeves but it went so much better than I had anticipated. I am now about halfway down sleeve #1. Whew! 🙂 I hope your January and February are not too grey. Our December was very dull and dreary. So far we've had a few sunny days in January and just the fact that the days are getting longer helps to improve my mood slightly.
Yes I'm definitely looking forward to longer days and sun on my face . Unfortunately we have snow forecast next week so it's all the woollens for me . Well done for your ranunculus , sometimes things are far easier than we think . It's just about having the courage to take the first step 😁

Hi Tina. I bought a Bothy Threads kit recently and when i opened it I found the fabric quite ‘stiff’. Am I remembering that you wash your fabric before stitching? Thanks for your inspiring videos!💕🇨🇦
Yes, I give it a soak and scrunch up in a tiny drop of fabric conditioner. It makes it far nicer to use in my opinion . It's best to seal the edges first incase of fraying 😁

It's from Primark 🤣 I love it too. I bought it a few years ago and wear it all the time . Ita sweater dress fso I can wear it with leggings or jeans and is perfect for secret PJdays b😁

I have tutorials on how to start , it's very easy , just little x's 😁 No knitting WIPs . I have just finished some little plain fingerless mitts . I haven't got any motivation for knitting as I'm fully stocked now with knits . Plenty of socks , jumpers , cowls . When I need something I will pick up the needles 😁
