I was 20th row directly behind home plate.. i probably had the best view in the stadium and it is to this day the most amazing thing i have ever witnessed.. the only thing i could do was scream "oh my god" and "wow" as loud as i can.. beautiful sports moment
I love everything about this. The call. The deafening fans that literally muffled Matt's voice. The amazing grab. The reaction of Clippard and Jones. Wow.
Today, the WBC is still developing its legitimacy, but i truly belive, years from now, this play will be seen as one of the great plays in baseball history.

Nelson Cruz home run against miller To take the lead in miami, it was crazy too . This two teams definitely every time they face each other something special needs to happen.
Especially because it is a tad out of character for him…he traditionally isn’t a classy player. That said, Jones was his Orioles teammate at the time, not to mention that while despite the fact that he was repping the DR Machado is also American. So that probably played into it.
