If only announcers could be like this in MLB THE SHOW
jamanuel dickerson I know right? MLB the show commentators show no opinion or anything, it’s like they’re just robots
Captain Freeze 74 they are
Sign this petition and Gus Johnson will do it!
True
I mean the second one is literally the announcer in MLB the show
Kypier: He’s gonna run out of room folks
Pillar: Tf you say to me?????
Kuiper*
wasn't even gonna be a home run
@Obscure Reference ur joking right
@@niggatron4072 you’re blind right?
tf?
The Orioles were robbed too many times in this compilation lol
Haha I was about to say the exact same thing. Even Machado who played for the Orioles at the time was robbed in the USA vs Dominican game in the BWC
@@tylerwilcox9922 they would be WS champs with how many times they were robbed
I counted: robbed 5 times, doing the robbing 1 time. But I only started counting in the middle of the vid
can same the same about robbing other teams homers too
@@icbm7, you probably forgot Adam Jones
You already know it’s gonna be like a mike trout and Jackie Bradley jr comp
LyteHollow pillar?
Cheaters
Kale Stew 4 *Houston
bang bang
What does Jackie Bradley jr have to do with cheating?
0:25 Though Manny is one of the hated baseball players, it's really cool to see him tip his cap off to his teammate, Jones (both Orioles back then). Both, Adam and Manny, got my respect!
What else was he gonna do flip off his teammate
As I said tho he is his teammate ofc he gon give him credit
LOL people only "hate" Machado because he has his own brain
I’m fairly new to baseball and I like machado Why do people hate him ?
@@MJisAGlorifiedDemarDerozen Back when Machado was with the Dodgers people dogged him because he "didn't hustle" protecting himself from injury leading into free agency
3:54 Imagine being 3 for your last 37, you finally barrel one up, a no doubt homer. Then you get robbed by Mike Trout. Feel for that dude
Outfielder robs a home run
Every single announcer: “That might be the greatest catch you’ll ever see”
5:43 "and it's tied... OH HE MADE THE CATCH" 😂😂
something just SO satisfying about Trout just sitting on the wall waiting for the ball
yeah but that also makes it not that great of a catch.
@@obscurereference6298 still better than the catches at short walls.
@@jesters08joker 99% of the best catches are not home run robberies.
The best part of this is always the pitchers reaction 😂
Should’ve called this “orioles players getting robbed”
Hahahaha
or PILLAR does it again and again and again
3:49. Had to adjust his speed while taking his eyes of the ball, retrack the ball and then scale the wall for the out. Amazing.
Baltimore was on the wrong end of a lot of these lol
Pillar Trout and Kiermier Is nothing but eye candy out there in the outfield
Southwest struck gold with that ad placement at Camden Yards
4:37 props to that dude in black that reached for the ball, saw trout still making an effort and pulled his hands back. My biggest fear is getting carried away seeing a homerun ball and obstructing a play.
i think he pulled back because he wasn't gonna be anywhere close to the ball. Theres a bit of a gap between the wall and where hes at.
If it is over the wall obstruction doesn’t count
That's Mike trout
Pitcher: damn i just let the other team hit a home run
outfielder: im about to save this man's whole career
Winning comment 😂🙌
@@Rayzel17 meh
I’m about to save this mans whole inning
I remember years ago, my dad and I were watching the dodgers game on TV, I was between 8 and 10 (can't remember exactly), the thing is, we watched the ball go deep into the field, just to get robbed.
My dad was like "you know what? I'm not even mad, that was a great jump and a great catch, big respect for the player".
Good memories.
They really snubbed Ender Inciartes game saving rob.
As a Mets fan, I'm extremely glad they didn't make me watch that again
Inciarte’s defensive highlights are usually snubbed unfortunately
Jackie Bradley Jr is the best center fielder aside mike trout, coming from a Yankees fan.
Buxton somehow Aint on here either
This is what outfielders dream of when they grow up. So dope
Dude thank u so much for adding Adam Jones I’ve been waiting for so long on these kind of vids thx man
I love watching these catches more than watching players hitting home runs
Kevin pillar is historically good at catching home runs
And fastballs to the face
Stevie Wilkerson and Austin Jackson stole the show. Good lord.
5:07 famous last words
Jackie made that one at 2:20 look effortless, even as Brasier was having heart palpitations.
3:28 Pillar is insane
5:27 As a Dodger fan, really weird seeing Rich Hill in red. Good luck in Minnesota, D. Mountain!
Announcers: “ONE OF THE GREATEST CATCHES YOU’LL EVER SEE”
Me: Well I just watched 10 minutes worth of these catches but I acknowledge your point.
1:24 best pitcher reaction ever....this man was conflicted with what is real in this world lol
One of the greatest catches you’ll ever see x10000
i love how at 4:49 trouts just like, "imma need that real quick"
We really need more of content like this. @MLB please :)
Thank you for saving Jackson's catch for last! I was proud to watch that game!!!
The Jerrod Dyson catch and the second catch from Mike Trout were the two smoothest catches. They made it look easy.
Where's Lo Cain he had some great ones
Seriously
And Carlos Gomez to save the game???? I mean they include the Braun one but where’s the respect on the Brew Crew?
@@adamrohde10 yeah
I was in a bar for Adam Jones catch and the place went absolutely insane it was a really fun moment.
I was there man one of the best moments I have witnessed at a baseball game!
Deltoxity that’s awesome!
Everyone on here talking about all the big names but no one remembers just how good prime Austin Jackson was. The dude may never have done it with the bat or been a markee name but my goodness was he the one dude that you feared in the outfield. He jumped feet in the air going into a short wall to catch that ball. People forget he was 31 when he made that catch absolutely incredible.
I was at the JaCoby Jones homerun rob game. Absolutely amazing catch.
6:30 .. if the umps didnt call that a home run they should have, the player went over the wall with the ball, HR
Yup, I fully agree. I’m glad I could find someone who questioned that one as well.
I do agree with you, but in the umps shoes, im pretty sure he caught the ball before he went into the stands
No. You’re wrong
It's an out. But the runners get to advance a base for the fielder carrying the ball out of play.
0:17 machado ain’t the nicest guy but tipping his helmet is a class act.
Q: what is the best way to announce a robbed HR?
A: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!"
The Dominican guy was great! He was like "Ohhh well alright then, hats off to you for an incredible play."
it’s Machado lol
UTTER DISRESPECT that Ender Inciarte’s GAME WINNING robbed homerun wasn’t included
Jayden Jones it was hands down the catch of the decade
I ain't even gotta watch this and I know theres gonna be at least 2 jbj catches
soxrox 01 no
There’s gonna be more than that
Mookie Betts: (robs home run)
Red Sox congratulating Rich Hill
0:30, look the woman who got caught in the middle of everything
lol!
2:56 is my favorite, Kiermaier having his entire arm above the wall is what makes this catch stand out, I didn't see any other catches where someones arm was over the wall entirely. Maybe a hand or forearm, but not the whole thing
ya, and there are also higher walls on this video
Small wall. Kevin had to run up a 12 foot high wall
I love it when they show their pitchers reaction
Pitchers: dang i need to learn how to pitch better. Outfielder: I'm about to end this mans whole career
i’m a the only one waiting for a replay every time
The redsox outfielders were just amazing
Missed MVP robbing MVP. Bellinger robbing Yelich.
sgtpeppers94 what ab trout robbing yelich
Carson Perry trout never robbed yelich...
Real Epic Gamer yeah he did
RealEpicGamer123 ua-cam.com/video/XHOsLdtSLxo/v-deo.html
Mike Trout catch is the best in history Go Angels
Anthony Bermudez Angels will be the next team to be caught cheating
We must be terrible at cheating because of our record. Hahahaha
He's so trash!
@Jmac King WHAT DO YOU MEAN he’s 2nd all time he is hostory you Dodgers fan look at his numbers
@ Sully Sullivan your probably a Yankees fan
1:47 I was at this game, Braun totally killed the vibe
All these amazing plays, and then francouer’s flat footed catch that probably wasn’t going out 8:35
Great video
0:15 might be the best home run robery of all time and it's definitely up there for the greatest MLB play of all time.
542 Travis Snyder just going to hop in the hall of fame packed comp. awesome. Just lived a dream with that catch
1:06 robbing a home run AND getting a double play wow!
I was surprised to not see any Carlos Gomez highlights in here! He had 2 against Joey Votto alone lol
The first one wasn’t even going to be a home run
braybray6969 yes it was r u crazy
Yes, it was
@@elijahjburies5391 No it wasn’t, it was clearly caught at his thigh which was below the wall and even would’ve went down a couple inches if it wasn’t caughtu
@@braydongreen2463 he literally caught it over the wall and moved his glove down to secure the ball
7:23 One of my favorite moments of Home Run Robberies
My god the Adam Jones one. Dude was basically still in a full run/jog. Beautiful
I was at the game where Pillar made the wall climbing catch in 2015, nearly choked on my food when it happen, the crowd went insane!
Outfielder robs homer:
Commentator: “THAT IS THE GREATEST CATCH!!”
Some of them are definitely overreaction but the Austin Jackson, Stevie Wilkerson, and Kevin Pillar definitely stand apart from the rest
The Red Sox should’ve never got rid of Mookie Betts he was lowkey carrying us for a lil 😂
I see Mike Trout, I click.
Ended Inciarte robbing Cespedes to end the game not being on here is borderline criminal
I love how the crowd and announcers react but the best reaction is always the pitcher.
Trout is like just not even fair anymore he makes it look so simple
I remember being at the USA and Dominican Republic game and was shocked when Adam Jones robbed Manny
Willie May's famous catch was from about 60 feet beyond the center field catches shown here.
I always remember that one time Burhele had a no hitter going they did a position swap in CF for the next play and buddy saved a HR saving the no hitter
there have been zero mlb homerun robberies this decade because there havent been any mlb games yet this decade
All the commentators always say “greatest catch you’ll ever see” 😂
I’m a die hard yankees fan and trouts catch was the best
3:28 one of the greatest catches I’ve ever seen
3:02 this was his pic in 20
There aren’t many worse feelings than seeing your team robbed of a home run
Bruh the Tauchman. 3-2 Cards think they have a walk off 😂.
1:45 imagine getting robbed by the cardboard car sticking over the wall
I love how many times throughout the video I heard “this is the greatest catch you will ever see”😂
Ikr
It was only said once throughout the whole video.. did you even watch it?
JBJ on the defensive side of so many of these plays, then you see him get robbed by Wilkerson.
6:10 idk why but the phrase "ball yard" is just unsettling.
my favorite part is when you see the guys make the catch then look up at the video board to watch it lol
by far the best was Steve Wilkerson
I would’ve included Dwayne Wise saving a perfect game with a home run robbery but Mike Trout in underrated defensively. At least in the Show
Ok, WHERE IS REDDICK’S AGAINST THE RANGERS??? That was one of the best in history.
Ichiro had a few, too.
“That is one of the finest catches I’ve ever seen….
….by a Blue Jay outfielder.”
Ouch.
Kevin Pillar catch in left field was the best of the bunch. Thats a 12 foot high wall
As a Reds fan, it pains me to say, but Carlos Gomez robbing Joey Votto of a HR to win the game should be on here.
My favorite part is where they said that may be one of the greatest catches you will ever see
MLB DA GOAT LIKE NO CAP
Joey Votto kap*
Can you still catch the ball fall into the stands and it still be an out or is it a homer if you fall jnto/over the fence now?
patrick goodman as long as part of your body is over the field when you catch you’re fine if you fall all the way over first then catch it it’s a home run that’s why the Jackson one and Shuck ones are outs, cause they were still technically in the field
They forgot to add the game-ending homerun robbing catch in Milwaukee from the 2019 season.
Saved the best for last
7:32 was the best reaction in my opinion
2:54 I thought the commentator was Steve Wilkos.
