I'm still learning how to chop, and its always too far a few cm out of the table. I'm using 1.2mm longpips, do I have to chop it faster(give more spin) or is it the angle? P.S: I don't have a coach and I just started to learn table tennis for a few months from trial and errors.
Hey First: what kind of pips do u use? Second: the point is in angle. Angle must be about 90 degree +/-. Third: We also learned how to play without coach only by trial and errors. So if u want we can help you
@@TTBrothers_ Just tried to put a comment in this video, never thought I'd get a reply. So thank you so much!! I use Donic Alligator Combi Blade, with Piranja Tec 1.2mm(long pips) on BH and Slice 40CD 1.8mm om FH. I have no problem with chopping using forehand (inverted), but pips feels kinda special, maybe because I'm originally an offensive type of players and first time playing pips. When I recorded myself and saw my BH chop, I think it's already 90degress+/-. Maybe the sponge is too thick (lack of space to get further from the table where I play). I always watch your videos, lots of defender videos here to learn from posture stroke, etc. Waiting eagerly for new videos!!
@@BaronWuffet Thanks a lot for your words) I always try to reply comments) Few years ago I also played with 1,0 and OX spong But now I switched to 1,4-1,7 mm. It's little bit harder to play but it creates much more problems for my opponents. Actualy i never played Donic pips exept Spike(don't remember what model). I didn't like that pips Send me video of your game and i'll try to tell you some tips. P.S. I'm not a proffesional player, just amateur. So things what I'll tell it's only my opinion and my thoughts

Yeah, i tried chopping for a while and I was so inconsistent lol 😅. I decided to stick with attack, though I am more of a blocker and lobber.
Awesome chops and attacks btw 🤩💯💯
