Joo was such a joy to watch. Win or lose, he always created thrilling scenes against top players in the world! I am so happy that I got to see him play again thanks to Adam!! 👍👍
That was so much fun! JSH looks very humble and a fun person to be around. Lot of respect for him for showing the world that defender can exist and thrive at the top. Like he mentioned in the last video the game has become difficult for the choppers, but I hope the style doesn't die out. Many sports converge to an 'optimum' playing style and TT certainly seems to be doing the same. Coaches will mostly refuse teaching anything other than the current 'meta'. The choppers, penholders, etc are who keep the game different and interesting. I hope they keep on fighting.
Apparently the switch first to larger balls and then later from celluloid to plastic balls significantly decreased the ability of choppers to put enough spin on balls to stay competitive, and thus essentially all elite players are close to the table attackers these days.
It's legends like Joo Sae-hyuk and others who were willing to stay humble and share their knowledge/ secrets that keep all sorts of sports/ ART to be passed forward to the new generations and evolve. Thanks, Adam for keep bringing these highly professional people.
Love your olympic table tennis matches casting. Incredible and so insightful we're so lucky to have such a knowledgeable commentator. I'm sure you convinced many people to try table tennis after watching the matches you casted!
yeai was flipping through olympics and saw table tennis. Evnen was like "they should have adam cast these" as he was casting....then I listened closely and realized my fauxpas.
For me there's one other person... My 7 year old asked me about that song recently and why he sees it all the time in other videos. I explained the concept of Rick rolling and how people try to prank each other by tricking each other into clicking on that video. About a week later, he ran into the room holding his tablet and said he found the coolest video ever. Then he clicked play and turned the screen so I could see it. My 7 year old son Rick rolled me IRL.
Joo Sae Huyk’s attacks are underrated if you ask me. Watching his matches, I noticed that he times his attacks really well and even the best players like Ma Long have a trouble keeping up when Joo suddenly goes into offense.
TBH I wouldn't say 'underrated' as he's known to attack more than we'd expect other defenders to and one of the reason he was so successful.
Joo Sae-Hyuk has been my favorite player to watch because of his legendary defensive skills that I grow up watching and admire! I even asked the members of the table tennis club I’m playing here in Busan, South Korea and they all know him and respect him because of his charisma, skills and personality! 💜
Joo is THE chopping legend in the recent decades of table tennis❤ Glad to finally see him on your channel. Though I think he held back in the first 2 sets... 😬 This calls for a rematch! 🎉
Adam is so dedicated to the community. He has been commentating the Olympics and still finding time to edit and upload videos. This is what an influencer should be 🙌
great games! i think it's incredible (a testament to Adam's skill) to get these points at all against such a highly esteemed player. wow. really fun to watch Joo switch from defense to offense and back to defense so easily. his style (and Adam's) makes TT so fun to play and watch.
What Joo said at 10:39 was "그렇지" meaning "here it goes" or "yes" in Korean. Pretty common phrase in Korean TT like chole, c'mon, and vamos. It was honorable to see Joo and Adam playing together🙌
I've never seen anything related to Brazil 🇧🇷 in your channel. You should definitely do something! I am a fan and know through personal experience you have a lot of Brazilian fans who would love to see you coming here and/or playing with a famous brazilian such as olympic athletes Hugo Calderano or Bruna Takahashi. Thanks! Keep Doing your content, you're Amazing!❤🇧🇷
I love the energy and the smile of Joo Saehyuk here as an avid fan of him😊 I followed all his style and all his equipment. More power to my idol Joo Saehyuk and as well to you Adam as my favorite Channel ❤
Whenever he won against Timo in the Olympics in singles and shattered his medal dreams in singles I kinda hated him for a little bit. But this video redeemed it for me. What a nice guy. Thanks for his awesome career and his sportsmanship. True legend.
It's great hearing you commentate at the Olympic games. I was like "wait a minute, i know that voice" when i heard you in the men's quarter final with france vs Taiwan I think
Hi Adam! Last year i discovered your channel and i love your videos ever since. You show how much fun playing table tennis is and inspired me to join our local table tennis club! Next week four day training camp.🏓 Wish you all the best! 🌞💚 Will you attend the Europen Championchips in Austria?
Joo made a good point with why no attack, for passive/defensive players it's usually easier to play a bit above their level as the opponent will keep attacking.
awesome video. clearly he can still play. players at that level stay good forever if he's warmed up and a real game, he'd kick some serious arse still.
Adam's game has really improved. He used to give 7-0 leads to top women and lose. Now he's giving a 7-0 lead to one of the all time great men, and he wins! Almost Bowing him out in straight sets. Amazing!
Like if you’re a HUGE fan of Joo Sae-hyuk and sss’cribed 🤩🐍
I saw u at the olympic Truls vs Omar i think
I am I HUGE fan of him))
You should challenge the United Kingdom next
I can’t lie he only locked in on the final match points with the shots
10:40 It means 'Yes!' in Korean😂
"Adam uses a lot of psychological tactics. I was shaken by these." Joo Sae-Hyuk 😂
Proceeds to hit Adam in his apples.
i loled at this too
5:54
... uhhh technically Adam uses a lot of +points to win too. And Joo Sae Hyuk was just that good that he totally forgot about that part.
Indeed

korean culture is deep in there for sure

You're an inspiration to the tabletennis scene! And a great inspiration to all other tabletennis youtubers. Keep up what you're doing Adam!
Joo Sae-hyuk is an amazing coach ... Thank you Adam !

Oh and great video as always :)

The number of points you score in rallies against a world class player, shows how good you are.
Bro you are everywhere😂
@@Lol-ej2uh you too then :)

Props to you Adam and Joo Sae-Hyuk!!! VAMOS!

I like how you're very humble and respect Joo which lets me enjoy the video so much. Good content keep going brother!
The ping pong chop is one of the most satisfying techniques to watch in all sports! Love seeing it deployed by a master of the craft
TABLE TENNIS, not ping pong you 'garage player'
One of my favourite videos!! Well done Adam
Love the insights by Adam during the match, and Joo Sae-Hyuk sharing knowledge in his native language.
he didn’t bother twiddling his rack when he does BH attacks, a legend having fun

It's fantastic match and video..very very compliments...
I have been following TT for a couple of years, and of all the legends I've watched play, I've somehow ended up loving Joo Sae-hyuk the most.
Well played Adam. It has a lot of improvement compared to your recent matches.

Thank you for the video Adam! I really wish to play with you one day 🏓
awesome video. clearly he can still play. players at that level stay good forever if he's warmed up and a real game, he'd kick some serious arse still.
Working on your tricks.. I hope I can impress myself one-day with your skills
JSH is amazing! Staying so positive during the game 👍 Come on, Adam, now we need Ma Long ✊😄
watching this, my jaw started to hurt, then i realized 7 mins in, I've been smiling the whole time :D lol just some good old fun! :)
I saw him play at the Los Angeles Open in 2017 . What a legend!
Joo Sae Hyuk is the reason I respect chop defense. I also followed Seo Hyo Won and Masato Shiono due to the career/ presentation
amazing match of table tennis with the best chopper...very cool
12:15 that shot.
That was really enjoyable. Those are some heavy back spins. Adam was quite lucky.
When immovable object meets immovable object
Indeed is the best modern defender of all time. Watching him play is therapeutic.
Adam's game has really improved. He used to give 7-0 leads to top women and lose. Now he's giving a 7-0 lead to one of the all time great men, and he wins! Almost Bowing him out in straight sets. Amazing!
Legend - period💪🏓
juste amazing letss gooo in south corea to meet this chopsuper
Two of my idol in a video!
Adam, this is the best match
Adam actually played really good this match! I think Adam was a bit frustrated that Joo Sae Hyuk was toying with him😂.
Nice Video Adam. Loved it . Can u also make videos with Short pips chopper like Yuto Muramatsu or Wang Yang or Han Ying.. thanks☺️🤟🏽
Adam busy being a commentator in the Paris Olympics and posting videos on the same day.😮
Joo Sae-Hyuk is my favourite player of all time. Legendary defender
