WR that still demand double teams on a given play, is still a plus for a QB. This will help develop the other targets. Now next the 2025 season, that's salary will need to be adjusted $40+the Raiders could get 2 elite WRs for that price

Davante Adams off the line separation ability reminds me of prime Barry Sanders breaking people off in the backfield.
With a XFL star potentially spinning the ball, I hope Adams’s talent is not further wasted.

Getsy is the Raiders new OC that was in GB with Rodgers and Adams in his high production years, he played a lot of slot then, and that may be what they do more of this year. Plus a rook QB who was 3rd on depth chart to start the season, big error, and Defensive minded HC was not going to play overly aggressive. Room for improvement. Raiders after firing HC McD were Battlestar Galactica, a rag tag group. Rookei HC, a ballboy for an OC, and Rookie QB, does that make Adams Starbuck or Apollo? Is Mark Davis Adama? Those flags in the refs pockets we are used to Goddell = Baltar. Refs = Cylon terrine. I'm thinking Aiden is Apollo and Adams is Starbuck, sorry if you don't get the 70's TV show references. LOL
Was just thinking about this. I think D.A is a special breed and will stay productive well into his career like Tim Brown and Jerry Rice. Great video
PFF is bais, and they hate the Raiders, so their metrics suck. Adams is still a Beast. He has no major injuries, and his conditioning is insane. Rice wasn't that fast but still beat a lot of coverage with his route running and leverage understanding. Renfrow isn't fast, but again, sick route running. Still can't believe he's still a FA.
BTW in that Colts game how about the offside FG block by Jack Jones, he checked with the Ref before the snap and was signaled that he was NOT offsides. FU Baltar!

Ok you’re failing to put in account that Garapolo was the starting quarterback and he wasn’t throwing the ball well at all. AOC was only with him roughly half the season. And he got targeted by him quite a bit. Probably why he actually broke past 1,100 yards and 8 TDS. So it was the horrible Jimmy G part that limited him plus Hoyer debacle for one extra game that did it. I still think he’s great and a threat to any and all defenses…
Garapollo was terrible and O’Connell was a rookie and statue. Adams did drop a couple of balls he normally wouldn’t. But I don’t think he lost a step just yet.

Let's face it, McDipsh*t's offense sucked and wasn't good for anyone, (which is why he was fired after week 8.) DA will bounce back next year, and this offense is going to be much better.
