I still have my Metalzone. First pedal I ever had, bought used in the early 90s. That same unit is still trucking and I actually use it to record occasionally. Sounds great for dialing in a super sustain violin like tone. It’s really useful… for applications other than metal haha

The morgan ac30 was one of the first amps they emulated through abasi though..? Each metal sim is incredibly capable of cleans from the amps they're based on. I'd argue the metal sims offer better effects for the money.
If you don't play metal ever or you don't want glassy sharp cleans most of ndsp isnt an option.
This'll cater to the more cory wong/tone king crowd which is nice.
Why does Neural insist on making clean amps driven by default? Like the Tone King, and the first two amps here. Yes, you can pull back on the input, but it’s a challenge when playing dynamically to keep it clean. A real Princeton, on the other hand, is hard to get break up. So much work is done by clean guitars in the music world, just give us some great clean Fender and Vox tones.

Try setting your interface input gain to 0 to make the plugin sound the way it was designed. Rhett Shull made a video explaining this recently. This solved the same problem for me at least

Downloaded and played nonstop for 40 mins and just was like, this completes me. Petrucci, Rabea, Parallax and the much needed Bluesier side of me. Fricken well done!!!

Great plugin again. I would like to suggest an additional product. A Hub or something like that where you can mix and match the amp, pre and post am fx sections between the plugins you have. So the OD from the Morgan with the Clean amp from Abasi plus the reverb from the SLO. That would be AMAZING and give you a KILLER flexible setup in your home studio (or anywhere else :) )
my thoughs too, or at least share the pedal effects between plug ins. and then a n affordable pedal to load them into for live playing along lines of tonex>?
Exactly. NDSP Effects should be single plugins. I absolutely love the reverb and delay on Archtype Plini. But isn't there a way to load multiple instances of your favorite NDSPs on a single channel and then turn on or off what you want...going to experiment now...
@@jimmygrant3151yes you can of course do that and string 3 plugins in the insert but the hub way would be more flexible (different preamp FX from several plugins) and saving cpu.
Definitely nice to get something that isn't a "modern prog metal" amp for once. Looking forward to trying this.
I'd say, most of their recent releases are not modern prog metal amps. but the morgan suite sounds awesome.

Sounds interesting. If I may suggest, a Magnatone suite that includes a Twilighter Stereo with its pitch shifting vibrato, along with a Varsity Reverb and a Super Fifteen would be incredible, too. Nice video and talented player on this one, by the way.

Mercy. Something that's not metal. I was hoping for a 5e3 but this will do. I def wont buy a physical morgan due to everything Ive read and seen wrt build quality but they do sound great. This will complement my virtual Imperial MKII quite nicely.
Purists would dig that. Imagine if they modeled the amp not working and needing to go into the shop for a week. Play authentic, right? Mystery noise? Just part of the experience. ;-)
@@ThomasJackMoore Ha Ha! I have a Tone King Imperial MkII ...and a '57 5e3 Deluxe. Recapped with 500v F&Ts, powered through a Brown Box at 110V.....THAT's the way it should be modeled. I need plug ins to match all my amps! Rock solidly reliable, BTW, just the way Leo intended

It's funny seeing people requesting "archetypes" of bands or artists that their amps are already included in other suites. Most modern metal high gain tones are not that diverse
Very excited about this, closest we’ve gotten to a nice clean/semi-driven tone is the Cory Wong stuff. Absolutely praying something AC30 adjacent is up next.

Don't forget the Tone King. That one can sing, too.
One of my favorite kemper profiles is a slightly overdriven Morgan AC20. I'll check this out!
NDSP plug-ins sound really good, and I am a fan of the individual amps or amps suites rather than the archetypes but nevertheless they are all fantastic. With this, I would like to request NDSP, to do a Bogner XTC and a Dumble suite with ODS, SSS and Overdrive Reverb. I mean that will be end all be all. All the cleans and the drives and the heavy gains from all eras in 1 place.
I love it so much.... it's such a great plug in.... it's everything I need. If there was a similar plugin like this, but a bad cat suite of amps.... I would FLIP OUT.

Interesting, but how is the Morgan 50 different from Archetype Abasi`s Morgan clean amp?
the one in Abasi's amp is modified to better fit Tosin's needs, as far as I understand. this one is a honest one to one recreation
Abasi in general is built around pedals being fed into a Morgan SW50R. The biggest difference right away is the Morgan suite gives you the built-in spring reverb that Archetype Abasi does not have. From there, all 3 amps in Abasi modify the base circuit to become something different, sort of how the clean has the DI blend, or how Rhythm and Lead have a few different controls that represent something different distortion pedals change the tone.
All that said, I personally think SW50R is the amp I have the least interest in for the pack. Jamming around with the AC20 is a real blast.
Was disappointed at first, but after listening, those are some beautiful fuzzy cleans 😍

Idk about that one. As much as he’s into accurate sounds of analog, not sure digital will make it into this. I bet they’ve talked to him before they ended up with the morello. Just my thoughts.
That would be a cool one. They could have his usual amps modeled to be used separately and then have an additional function to blend them together like he does, that would be awesome. It would be an instant buy for me.

Will admit I have never heard of Morgan Amplification and was kinda wanting a Nolly X or something but I really like how’s it’s different

Better than another death metal suite, that’s for sure. I might’ve preferred other options like Hiwatt or archetype Steve Lukather/Michael Landau/Dann Huff/Tim Pierce, etc. but I’ll check this out for sure…and that’s no slight to Morgan. They’re phenomenal and this is great!

Morgan makes some of the sickest boutique high end amps and cabs out there, not to mention the most aesthetically pleasing.

All the people requesting new archetypes. I think it would be better if they upgraded existing ones like they did with Plini.
There's really a lot of choice when it comes to high gain tone in NDSP plugins, maybe it's missing a more classic metal plugin like, i dunno, Archetype: Stratovarius.
Apart from that this plugin is a nice addition, not something i would personally use but i understand why some people may like it.
I would love to buy this, but it doesn't work with the Quad Cortex. 😭
How about a pedal suite we can run in chain with other NDSP products?
Reminds of the great Welsh band called Man, from the 70's.
Excited for this especially once we can use pluggins on the Quad Cortex. My Morgan AC40 Deluxe may get a bit lonely.
Please keep up the actual real amp sims: Dual Rectifier, VH4, Uberschall, Ecstacy, Deluxe Reverb. Some iconic pedal sims would be great as well: Keeley Compressor, TS9, Klon, CE-2.
Thank you for not bashing our heads in with more metal. Enough with the metal already! More low-gain and mid-gain expressive amps! More amps that can handle acoustic guitars - nylon and steel string PLEEEEZE.

Coming from someone who pretty much only does metal and specifically deathcore style stuff, this plug-in may not be for me but I still appreciate that Neural DSP is growing and continuing to expand into a variety of markets rather than continuing to just pump out products for the same exact thing over and over. They are still at what they’re doing and I commend them for that!
Well a Mezzabarba Amp will suite the market of metal and blues fusion.

I could absolutely understand a Sleep Token drumkit plugin because of how much those stand out and are unique, but IMO their guitar parts are just kind of there and blend in as a piece of all the other instrumentation @@Jt7166

The killswitch engage tone can be achieved PERFECTLY using archetype nolly plus GGD Cali upfront cab IR. Nolly himself put out a clip of it on Instagram and its been my go to tone ever since.
