CorOS 2.3.0 is required to run the public release of Cortex Control. Download it via Settings, Device Options, Device Updates on your Quad Cortex once connected to Wi-Fi. We recommend that you create a backup before updating your firmware.

I wish Cortex Control would be a plugin that we could use without a Quad Cortex. A bit like ToneX or Helix Native. This would be absolutely killer and put Neural DSP into legends.

They wont do that because people wont buy the quad cortex and instead just use the plugin, which would hurt revenue

It would have to be at a relatively high price, maybe even a subscription based model. You're right in that they won't give you the entire software of the QC for the price of a regular plugin.
@marcellopaoli6135 helix native is sold at a discount with hardware. It works well for line 6. It adds value and therefore revenue rather than taking away.
@lockedowng I have a QC and I wouldn't care at all if they did that. Everyone should have access to the great sounds

This is actually fucking sick. I have my QC in a spot on my desk that isn’t optimal for desk space because of the need to constantly be touching and playing with knobs. Now I can move it to the side of my desk and operate it all via my pc. Absolutely killer.

the QC has been such a game changer for me. Can't thank you guys enough. I'm not without any issues though. Wanted to ask if its normal that sometimes when recording from the QC via USB I get super bitcrunched audio? It appears to be random and Im wondering if you guys have had reports of this issue from other users?
Is there an option to select more than one preset / capture when sharing?

Oh man, this is so awsome. I only wish i had a cortex to use this new feature. I'll save up enough for it one day 😅
It’s a great unit I can say, I have no regrets with mine, but it also isn’t perfect. For example there’s this buzzing noise I get with my unit when I use it with headphones and it is really annoying for me and that’s how I use the Quad Cortex 70% of the time especially as a metal musician.

I wish they would spend half the amount of effort on plug-in compatibility as they did on this video project. We will see what worthless release they have in Q2 for us. I’m sure I won’t be able to play it live on my QC.

Sure has a lot of "issues" and fixes. Forgot this has only been out like three years.
