"Taylor pork roll hot, Taylor pork roll cold, Taylor pork roll hits the spot whether you're young or old". I remember that commercial on our old black and white TV in the early 1960's.
I grew up in Philadelphia with Habbersett Scrapple, Hormel Spam and Taylor Pork Roll. Oh yea, and Cream Soda :)
+Glenn Watkins Poor kid. I thought my childhood sucked, with the nightly beatings my drunken father gave me. He at least fed us some prime meats.
and government cheese
proud Jersey girl raised on pork roll...
I have family from Delaware so I was raised on Scrapple too...
@Reviews. Your more likely to find it closer to Philly, but im sure it exists in NY its a big city
Love scrapple, a guilty pleasure but nothing beats that salty savory flavor.
The fact you incorporated ween's song prok roll egg and cheese made this video 100% legit. this rocked and now i am hungry

Great Video! Thank You.
the video was great I would like to know the theme music at the beginning of the video is that copy righted or is that free to use
BTW ,it’s “ Taylor Ham” ! lol btw,great video,thanks !
0:50 is genius. really, using NJ-shaped cuts of pork roll in the pan? love this forever!
Pizza with Porkroll is awesome
When you call it "pork roll" = champagne; "Taylor ham" is sparkling wine.
I'd love to try of all our regional foods in America. Hopefully I can get to Jersey and try one.
i love pork roll i eat it everyday i live in new jersey
In NJ its also called Taylor Ham.
TEC all day.
Great video!!! I've actually found places that serve it in NYC. I send it to my nephews in California. I prefer pork roll without egg. I just need cheese.
+MyLife3636 I eat pork roll & cheese, without egg, on a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel & pancake syrup. I call it a "Jersey Girl". First made it for my young niece, who prefers something sweet for breakfast. But the sweet & salty flavor profiles are so good. I eat them all the time also..
Grew up eating it . I could eat a pork roll , egg and cheese sandwich every morning
Bro here on the Jersey Shore all I eat is pork roll egg and cheese sandwich with pepper salt and ketchup. Even eat it on camping trips
badass
FOUND IT IN OHIO!!! INTERNATIONAL MARKET IN NEAR CINCI!!!
Really? You don't even credit Wee, then you put a disclaimer in your description asking people not to use your content without permission? Classy.

New Jersey has pork roll and pizza ok
I was born and raised in Trenton, but moved to the west coast a few years ago. strange thing is, no one here has heard of the pork roll.
Exactly my situation haha
+Herr Oberst Wilhelm Von Borchert literally my life since i moved from jersey
Mikaelah Villacruz From Trenton?

You're welcome 😉
Am cooking pork roll right now
OK, so if he was a true Trentonian, he would have said something to the effect that in Philly, the "round roll is replaced by a torpedo roll," right? Cute, though.
Grew up eating pork roll . Prefer Taylor but case is good. Also like Hatfield and ShopRite brand is good
0:47 he calls it 'The' pork roll, which tells me this guy isn't from NJ, has probably never been to NJ and has probably never even tried pork roll.
Never EVER buy any other brand unless it's Taylor or CASE.
+AllySmiles201 most other pork roll brands are actually Case or Taylor! I believe that ShopRite Pork Roll is actually Case just re-branded.
Exit 7A Creative Services and Studios it's not..... It taste VERY salty and cheap.
@Ally Well they are the two best known, but there are other brands that are not cheap. Alderfer won in a blind taste test of 5 pork rolls that included case and Taylor.
@@AllySmiles201 The supermarket brands are Case. I looked up the USDA#
Johnny Edwards Case doesn’t make a Turkey version.
Craving pork roll :(
Just saw on morning news that minor league baseball team, Trenton Thunder, will be changing their name to the Trenton Pork Rolls. I prefer Trenton Taylor Hams better. LOL
Case sucks
Case is just as good as Taylor.
