Your baby won’t be associating the sounds with their letter names at this stage of development. I was simply trying to get him to make figure out how to move his mouth to make those sounds.

I hear ya, but it is good to remember that a 12 month old not sitting still is normal. Some days my daughter will be totally engaged with what I want to work with her on; other days she will be ready to move on to the next thing as soon as we are starting. Stay encouraged!

Hi, my little girl is 14 months old and I am trying to play with her while teaching her words and Numbers, but it doesn’t really work: she always has to move. It’s difficult to read a little book or play with flash cards... do you have any suggestions? I see your baby repeat whatyou do or say, but mine doesn’t. 😌😕🙃
Same! My daughter is 13 months and I try so hard we have the flash cards, puzzles, shape buckets, cups, and basically every educational toy out there. I try every day for hours a day rotating what we're doing all the time and I can't get her focus 😔 when I read she runs to do her thing unless there are things to touch which I have a lot but she's definitely losing interest considering we read the same 25 books or so everyday for that reason. I don't let her see that I'm frustrated but definitely am and don't know what to do.
The vlogger replied on some of the comments that his son was between 18-20 months old in that video.. don't pressure your baby.. they will learn at their own pace.. Just continue to play with them and enjoy the bond.. the learning process will follow.
