Very true, I find myself lucky enough exposed to money management at an early age. Worked full time when I was 19, purchased first home at 28, fast forward time...l'm 57 now, got laid off March 2020 amidst lockdown, a blessing in disguise. At once, I consulted an advisory firm to match me with a planner to stay afloat and with subsequent investments, I'm only 15% short of $1m as of today.

People, banks are businesses. They have shareholders they answer to. They are in business to make money. You must take control of your finances and look to places that offer you greater rates for your cash. I make over 1k a month in passive income using an online savings account. Just on my cash. I keep smaller amounts of cash locally for quick access.

There are a fleet teams and vendors, that are needed to run a bank. Banks get nickel and dimed also. For examplle, someone refuse to pay safe deposit box. They have to hire someone to drill out box.Not cheap, then the cost to physicallly move abd store money with Brinks or any other company. The cost can rack up
