i saved 2,000 a month for 40 years at age 25 to age 65 now i have 960,000 in my savings and 40,000 in paid off credit cards
Amazing
You don't live in California
Great job I started saving money when I was 20 I saved 165,000.00 I am new 62 years of age
I just hit $100,000 net worth this last quarter from saving and i plan to invest in the stock market to see it grow in the next 3 years. What is the best way to navigate the stock market as a newbie?
I believe a healthy portfolio has 3 things, at the bare minimum: Exposure to ETFs for increased diversification, Exposure to assets that generate cash flow like dividend stocks, Exposure to market-leading tech.
Consider allocating 30-40% to a High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA) and entrusting investing the rest with guidance from a financial advisor. My advisor has significantly impacted my financial journey, fostering clarity and confidence in the stock market. Thanks to her guidance, I've grown my portfolio from $100k to $1.4m in just 5 years.
Happy for you

You dont need 7 figures to be comfortable. Its a lifestyle problem!
Making 200,000 a year and still living check to check. Living above their means. Gotta have the biggest house, financing cars etc. Get a comfortable modest home, BUY your car and live. You can make 50,000 a year and still be saving 3,000 a month, if you live simple and comfortable. Not lavish! I appreciate what this brotha does. Very informational!
I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.
Dividends are dope. Personally, I sometimes use my dividends to buy other dividend and growth stocks for diversification instead of reinvesting in the same stock. To each their own methods though. The good thing is that you're investing in the first place and that's what's important. Salute for the content!
I agree. Based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $500k in a well-diversified portfolio that has experienced exponential growth. It's not only about having money to invest in stocks, but you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to back it up.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?.
The current situation has taught us the importance of having multiple alternatives. However, having a well-paying side hustle doesn't guarantee security. Therefore, we all need to pursue extraordinary opportunities.
40 minutes in… can someone pinpoint where the promise is delivered. Time is money.
Thanks again Mr Fain for the effort
Exactly, I'm sure people appreciate information, however I don't understand the reason for tye long-winded chatter/presentation.
Unfortunately a lot of people don’t want to plant the trees because they are not going to sit under it. They are not thinking about their children and grandchildren.
Exactly people are so selfish. Bringing new generations in the world just to have them struggle and fend for themselves when they grow up. No form of financial hope or literacy just a baseless faith in unproven religious philosophies. Smh it's sad. But not my kids we brought them into the world is our responsibility to set them straight financially and physically and teach them to do the same for their children and to keep it going.
Financial education is the key to unlock the door to wealth and a growth mindset is the golden ticket.
You're right! A good coach can provide personalized advice and help you overcome mental blocks that prevent you from achieving financial success
A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck. Believe me i would love to invest a thousand but in reality I don’t have it to invest.
It’s not all about being selfish.
@@ShaeWashington-pf5cu Many make bad decisions and don't care about the consequences. It's selfish to bring children into the world without being properly prepared. This is why most people struggle.
Im sure this is good information but can someone compress 2 hours of the time amd tell me what to do with the 1k

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.
This is striking! could you share info of your advisor, please? i'm in dire need of asset allocation and standing at a crossroads, whether to sell-off or keep holding my positions, my portfolio is retrogressing bad as of late
Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Melissa Terri Swayne for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.
I just looked her up on the internet and found her webpage with her credentials. I wrote her a outlining my financial objectives and planned a call with her

What I don’t understand is, on one hand we are told the stock market will crash and yet on the other we are told ways of investing in the stock market. Oxymoron or paradox? I'm considering investing over 150k, but I'm uncertain about risk mitigation strategies.
The professionals presently control the market since they not only have the essential business strategy but also have access to inside information that the general public is not aware of.
I took charge of my portfolio but faced losses in 2022. Realizing the need for a change, I sought advice from a fiduciary advisor. Through restructuring and diversification with dividend stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds, and REITs, my $1.2M portfolio surged, yielding an annualized gain of 28%.
